From Bex Deveau and L.E. Eldridge comes a modern omegaverse where the games are competitive and the after dark streams are all access. Welcome to the Streamerverse, see you in chat.

I never wanted an alpha, until I met him…

Jesse is the perfect boyfriend. Smart. Caring. Stupidly charming. And my diamond rank duo partner in the competitive shooter RPG that we have to thank for our relationship.

The catch? He’s a beta and not having an alpha has made my heats worse for months. I’m barely avoiding the awkward reality when Jesse introduces me to his best friend, Charlie—the alpha who, a year before, got me through my toughest heat yet, and I’ve been trying to forget about ever since.

How do you tell your beta boyfriend that their alpha best friend took your virginity? Especially when one look at him jumpstarts your heat in the middle of the mall?

But my relationship and potential new pack aren’t the only risks for casualties when my anonymous whale, Glitchd_Attraction69—a tipper who pays 90% of my bills through SLCK’d, a camming service explicitly designed for omegas—makes me an offer I can’t refuse.

Do I turn down my biggest supporter? Or do I take the offer for what it is—the EXP I need to level up, risking everything in the process?

One of us is getting played.

Game Over is a HIGH heat, MMF contemporary omegaverse packed with surprise heats, accidental mating bites, and plenty of gaming references. This book is a standalone, with no cheesy cheating, no choosing, and an HEA!

I appreciated the sex positivity and play on the usual designation roles, but Charlie and Tara made shit ass communication decisions. The purposeful lying at 30% almost made me DNF. I speed skimmed the rest of the book. I didn't even care to fully read the many sex scenes. I'm bummed I didn't love it since the prequel novella was so great. This could have been about a packing figuring out their dynamics and been more emotional and deep, but instead it felt like a shallow sex fest full of deceit.

Another complaint: there is barely a heat.

“Unregulated artisanal hot sauce levels of heat.”
Excuse meeee, this was SO HOT. Like what?! I’m gasping. Screaming. (Creaming) here I am twirling my hair thinking omegaverse just isn’t for me until BAM. This pretty little ARC falls into my lap and I’m head over cages, collars and heels in love. Charlie, Jesse and Tara are SOOOO good together. EEEEEE. I cannot. This was so fun! Addicting. I couldn’t put it down. I need more immediately.

This would’ve been SO good if the authors had even proofread it, let alone gotten a professional editor. There were timeline issues, repeated sentences/phrases, grammatical errors, and even a few typos. Overall it was well-paced, the smut was well-written, and I really liked the way they stayed on theme with the various gamer adventures. But sometimes it was really hard to read around the errors and contradictions.

The biggest one being that the relationship between Jesse and Charlie was so inconsistent in Jesse’s POV. One moment Charlie is “an awkward geek who could never pull a hot omega” and then next he’s “so charming and successful at everything he does.” One moment Jesse is “noticing for the first time how hot he is” and the next he’s “been pining forever and Charlie never noticed.” This relationship is really the core tension of the entire book, and yet almost every time that tension is described, it’s different from the last time. It often made it really difficult to enjoy the smut scenes because there was this giant unanswered question mark before and after about what Jesse actually felt and how they were going to handle it.

Also, the he/they treatment would probably be really confusing to any reader that hadn’t seen any social media promo for the book. I knew going into it that one of the characters was non-binary, but the narrative itself never bothers to mention at the very beginning of the story that he is. So the pronouns would probably be hard to follow for a while to someone coming in without that prior knowledge. Not to mention for readers who might be less familiar with reading they/them pronouns in general, let alone adding in the complexity of using “they” and “he” interchangeably.

I think this book would’ve been a like 4.5/5 at least if it was edited. The writing was good and the story and characters compelling. It was just a way too rough draft to be published IMO

An Omegaverse Streamer Romance

| omegaverse | MMF | streamer romance | streamverse | beta x omega | dom mommy | SPICY | HIGH heat | pack dynamics | heat hotel | streamerverse | afterdark | slik'd | gamer romance | animal companion | not your typical alpha | not your typical omega | lemon x cherry limeade x blueberry cobbler | SW | billionaire omegaverse romance | paypig | findom | non-binary | surprise heat | accidental mating bite | why choose | HEA | Standalone |

Would I recommend this book? YES! If you love Omegaverse romance and are craving a dominant FMC, then this story is 100% for you.

Is it spicy? Oh, it's hella spicy. All the spice. Off-the-charts HIGH heat. You’re sure to devour it.

I loved this book. I read the novella beforehand and was so glad I did. The novella is essentially 5 chapters of a spicy scene where two characters meet by chance. It helped set the tone, and I recommend doing the same, however, it is not necessary by any means.

This story stood out to me as an occasional gamer and stream-watcher; the concept of a streamer-based Omegaverse was super fresh and creatively executed. Expect detailed gaming scenes. This book doesn’t just use the setting as an accessory, it is truly part of the plot.

One of the most unique aspects was the twist on traditional omega dynamics. The omega in this story tops, and it’s both fun and deliciously hot. It’s not your average Omegaverse by any stretch.

As someone who daydreams about being a dom/mistress, I really appreciated the portrayal of an alpha who, in his way, is actually submissive. That internal tension between societal expectations and personal truth added emotional depth and complexity. There's also rich character development for a beta navigating their internal conflict within the relationship and finding where exactly they fit within the relationship. These elements made the story more than just spicy. It gave it soul.

Game Over by Bex Deveau and L.E. Eldridge is an omegaverse romance you do not want to miss. It’s got all the heat you expect from the genre, with a bold, refreshing twist that blends streaming culture and pack dynamics into something truly standout.

P.S. I just want to make my alpha cry.

Happy Reading, Friends xx

This changed my brain chemistry

I read this in one sitting, LOVED the prequel novella and this did not disappoint. The romance is sweet and the spice is *hot*

I’m not overly fond of gamer romance or omegaverse so the fact that I loved this so much is kinda throwing me for a loop

I read "Game On" and really enjoyed it so I wanted to know more about how their relationship/story would work out but honestly? I’m not connecting with none of the characters and I’m not liking how they interact/talk so it’s gonna be a no for me 😅

Eh. I couldn't get into this. Tara had no personality aside from being hot and horny and there wasn't much relationship development between her, Jesse and Charlie? I was looking for more romance and communication but it was mostly non stop sex scenes and the voices / POVs ended up blending together by the end. Plus the whole resentment and "she likes me better" thing between the guys got so old and it felt like they were more into each other than her tbh. Also, the whole Glitch thing was a bit ick IMO (since he's basically playing them both because he has the cash and they don't realize it's him).

The pronoun thing was fine if a bit confusing since different ones were being used for Jesse, but honestly I just didn't connect with any of the characters and it all felt very dull (sex scenes aside)

This was written by 2 different people?? This read like it was written by 2 different people.

So many inconsistencies in story jumps and character traits.

A “big secret” that was terribly obvious to the audience but was specifically kept out of POV thoughts to trick the audience for 50%+ of the story and then out of nowhere just revealed in same persons POV but not to the other characters. I for real thought I accidentally skipped a chapter or something.

There is literally a spot in the book that has a line that says -don’t remember what happens here- that does not fit the context and I can’t figure out if it was on purpose (like a trendy gaming thing I don’t get) or if it’s an author note they didn’t come back to.

Content wise I am not a fan of all the lying going around especially when pushing partners to bond (ya know because it’s supposed to be omegaverse) also pet peeve in lie #3 when FMC originally meets partner 2 before partner 1…yeah I know it’s a mess…how at that time were they not aware they were scent matched BUT way later meet up again and suddenly they can’t restrain themselves from bonding because they are surprise…scent matched!! Make it make sense please

Overall with how inconsistent the characters were from line to line and how the FMC Tara had no actual development other than horny, mediocre gamer (her words), OF Streamer I would not recommend this one. Especially not as an omegaverse fan.

I so wanted to love this book more, especially since I enjoyed the prequel. It started great, but it fell apart for me with its many plot holes, inconsistencies, and some dragged out scenes. I wasn’t a fan of how the lying played out, it felt pointless without any real stakes or tension that would make it understandable.

The characters felt one-dimensional, which was disappointing because Charlie and Tara seemed to have way more depth in the prequel than this book.

Genre: Adult Omegaverse Romance
Spice: 3.5/5🌶️
*spice ratings are relative to similar books in the same genre*
(3.5/5 means this is slightly spicier than average)

The Catalog: M/Enby/F, surprise heat, partner’s best friend, bi-awakening, friends to lovers x 2, second chance, dominant omega, scent-matches, accidental bonding, heat tending, it’s always been you, build a pack, s3x worker representation, non-binary representation

Kink: sugar Daddy, breeding kink, light puppy play (Mistress/puppy), voyerism, findom, collaring, praise and light degradation, c0ck cage, c#ck chair

Synopsis: Tara is living her best omega life; she’s got an amazing beta partner, Jesse, her career as a gamer and adult streamer is doing well, and she’s saving to buy a house with Jesse. Then she meets Jesse’s best friend and realizes that he’s the alpha that took her v!rginity a year ago, the same alpha she can’t stop thinking about. Then there’s the overly generous subscriber that basically pays her bills, now offering her so much more. Tara is now living her most complicated omega life.

Thoughts:
I absolutely loved Tara and Charlie in the prequel novella, Game On, and was so happy to revisit these characters in their full length novel! This omegaverse combined so many amazing things: gamer MCs, a body diverse alpha, dominant omega, k!nk, and the familiar fuzzy feels of found family and build a pack. In addition, as a gender queer reader, I was so happy to see non-binary representation in the genre!

Tara is my favorite kind of non-traditional omega! She’s dominant and adoring, unafraid to go against the grain, yet still loves to be cared for. Jesse is such a great beta character. I felt so much kinship with their personal struggles, and reveled in their happily ever after. Lastly, Charlie, the tall and lanky alpha with a big heart and bigger wallet. Phew, buddy, I am super into his brand of domination 🤣 and then there’s Glitch, the mysterious subscriber 👀 my lips are sealed!

I thought the authors did a great job of bringing these characters together and I really enjoy their pack dynamics!

In terms of omegaverse dynamics, this was lighter on a lot of things, so this could be a really good intro into Omegaverse.

DNF: Immediatley-- but it's My fault :/

I wanted to read this, but I quickly learned I am not the target audience, lol. I read the prequel which was very cute, very spicy, a bit more character driven, and more classically Omegaverse-y. The pro-gaming/pro-streaming/Onlyfansing was a very small part of the (ok, maybe nonexistent) plot.

From what I can tell of this book, those topics are central to the plot (and characters somehow?) and it's just not my vibe. I think since those are pretty unrelatable career choices for the average person, reading the story somehow felt like sliding a bit into the "parasocial relationship" territory to me. Like essentially watching Jesse and Tera be a couple felt like shipping two streamers, which feels weird and kinda inappropriate to me in real life, but also in fake life, I guess. Again, I think these are all me problems, which is really sad cause I loved the prequel novella :(.

If you're ready for an omegaverse read that will activate your bi-panic, make you feral, and fill you with all the warm fuzzies all at the same time read Game Over. Tara is an omega cam-girl and her beta boyfriend Jesse is a streamer. These two are so hot together from the first page, but once you meet Charlie the nerdy alpha that's best friends with Jesse the spice kicks up even further. Everything about this book was *chef's kiss* I couldn't put it down and immediately picked up the prequel novella after I finished.

I loved the Game On prequel so much that I immediately applied for the Game Over ARC but unfortunately, this one didn’t meet my expectations.

I found myself struggling to stay engaged with the story. What should’ve taken me two days to finish ended up dragging out for about a week, simply because I couldn’t find the motivation to keep going. I pushed through, hoping the plot would pick up or shift in a way that pulled me in, but sadly, that moment never came.

To be fair, the spice in this book is absolutely delicious. Bex and L.E. know how to bring the heat. But even with that, it wasn’t enough to offset the lack of a strong storyline. The miscommunication between the characters was frustrating and, at times, hard to read. The resolution? Publicly degrading one of the MMCs on a livestream? That completely missed the mark for me. There are ways to show conflict and growth, but this felt more hurtful than healing. What happened to healthy communication?

While this one wasn’t for me, I’m still grateful to Bex Deveau and L.E. Eldridge for the opportunity to read Game Over ahead of release day.

Did I enjoy this or am I just ovulating? Who knows! Maybe both! 3.5 ⭐️ rounded up for the orgasms 🙂‍↕️

As someone who 1) is a gamer 2) is married to a gamer and 3) loves watching streamers this book was RIGHT up my alley. This was mostly smut with sprinkles of plot throughout. I’m normally not one for a dominant fmc, but the entire group dynamic seemed to be switches.

I had two main things I didn’t like about this book. First, the only character who felt like they had actual depth to them was Jesse. Charlie had a bit of complexity to him, with the back and forth on being “macho alpha” or giving into his more submissive side, but Tara just felt very one dimensional. The other issue I had was that the (very minimal) plot felt redundant because every few chapters there was a new miscommunication issue or an obvious secret being kept.

There is a nonbinary character, which I absolutely adored but there was no introduction to their situation. I would have really appreciated a scene where Tara introduces them to her stream with their pronouns. It also seems like Jesse uses he/they pronouns, which wasn’t very clear in the beginning. Note: I am cisgender so it isn’t fully my place to comment on how Jesse’s introduction should have been handled. I just do think the story would have benefited from it in clarity purposes.

I went into this book not realizing actually what it was! And let me tell you, I hadn’t a CLUE what was happening when suddenly the word Omega and Beta was mentioned, my brain was automatically thinking I was missing something in the gaming world. So google became my bestie in this moment in time…and then I learned what the omegaverse was!

So firstly, the above is my fault for not reading into this book but seeing it EVERYWHERE on my fyp recently but obviously didn’t read anything about this book properly before downloading. I didn’t particularly enjoy that aspect of the book but because this was due to me not realizing before reading, this won’t be included in my rating and I will base it off the other part of the book and what I thought it was.

I loved the FMC Tara and found her character super sex positive and really enjoyed how openly she was able to be herself with her viewership on both of her channels.

The gaming aspect was really good! Having multiple chapters based on actual gameplay and different pov’s in the same game was so fun and I really loved how realistic it felt and for me a big gamer it was a great element!

The first MMC, Jesse, Is a non-binary character and Tara’s gamer partner. I loved how Tara and Jesse streamed together and the dynamic of their relationship was really cute. I wasn’t a fan of his cute names for her but that is just personal preference on my end.

The second MMC, Charlie, was a good character but found him to be my least favorite and a bit wishy-washy in how he presented himself. I felt he didn’t really know himself even by the end of the book. But maybe this was because I didn’t really connect with his character and didn’t like a lot of what he had done throughout.

The smut was good and tied in well with the storyline, there was fewer spicy scenes then I expected especially because of the spicy stream content but I did enjoy more of the other content of the book for this one though, the gaming aspect is really what I did enjoy most.

Overall a good read and I got through it very quickly, unfortunately a big issue for me was the grammar errors and spelling mistakes, this took me out of the story and I felt myself having to re-read certain sentences to make sense of it but based on how little I knew going into this book the aspects that I expected and enjoyed were executed quite well and it was a fun and quick read.

this was a really fun read! i’ve never read anything omegaverse before, so this was new for me. i absolutely adore bex deveau, so i couldn’t pass up applying for this arc, and i was so excited when i got the approval email!

tara, jesse, and charlie are definitely an interesting group of partners. on the outside, they wouldn’t seem like they fit together, but after reading their story and getting to know them like i did, they just make sense together. i think charlie was my favourite mmc, simply because of his “you want it? you got it” attitude with tara. speaking of tara, she was so freaking hot, i cannot explain it further. i don’t think i’ve ever read a book with a stream/cam girl as the fmc, but she did not disappoint. jesse supported tara the best he could, which was really sweet to see. when all three of them finally came together is really when the magic happened for me. they fit so well and their sexual tension? superb.

small things that weren’t my favourite: jesse’s inner war with himself about charlie (and his denial) and how glitch revealed his identity.

i really enjoyed this book, and definitely played favourites with characters along the way (sorry jesse), and i’ll definitely be on the lookout for the next in the series when it releases.

thank you so much to the authors for the e-arc! 🎮

Thank you to the authors for letting me read an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own.

I finished this book a while ago and I haven't really known what to write for my review. I feel conflicted because at the end of the day, this was a super fun book! This is more of a 3-3.5 but I feel like a 3 would be too low.

So, I really enjoyed how this book was so hard to put down. I was flying through it and found the writing so engaging. This is my first omegaverse book and felt like it was a great introduction. I loved all the characters and how steamy it was. I also found the gamer aspect interesting and haven't read something like it before. I love the queer representation as well we have a f/nonbi/m poly dynamic and loved how queerness was expressed and enjoyed in this book.

Ultimately, this book was hindered by the unbalanced pacing of the poly relationship and sadly is a constant critique I have with poly dynamics in romances. This book felt like "3 chunks". The first part was just the alpha and Tara, and then Jesse and Tara, and then all three. None of it felt seamless and because it felt forced in a certain page length it felt super rushed. I hated how the authors relied on Jesse's pre-existing relationships with both Tara and Alpha instead of giving them their own time. I felt like the romance just was not balanced at the end of the day and felt like it could have used more tension and growth. I didn't fully believe the throuple would work out even though I liked them together.

Also the two conflicts in the book was so ridiculous and did not help. I feel like we should have one had one of them and not both. It was just annoying and I was rolling my eyes.

At the end of the day, this was a super fun omegaverse book. If you like steamy books with a gamer element then you will enjoy this! I'm excited for the next book in this series.

3.5 🌟
The smut is smutting in this one, and damn, it is good! I loved the dynamics at play. Particularly an omega getting to dom her alpha and beta. It was so different from other books I've read. 🔥🥵
However, some bits felt so over worded and dragged out. Especially the gaming scenes, but also some other areas in between. I found myself occasionally skimming and zoning out, which isn't what I wanted. I can imagine if you're a really big gamer, you might appreciate this more than me, though.

🎮 Omegaverse
💜 Billionaire Alpha
🎮 Camgirl X Streamer
💜 M/NB/F
🎮 Cuck!ng
💜 Hidden Identity
🎮 Surprise Heat

* I highly recommend reading the prequel novella first, solely because it's smutty goodness and incredibly hot. You can definitely read Game Over as a standalone, though, if you chose to.

3.5⭐️
What I enjoyed about this story is the Omegaverse aspect and that all the main characters were gamers and streamers. My favourite character was Jesse, the beta of their pack, and Tara's initial partner. He was supportive and understanding.

What I didn't like is the manner in which lies seemed to be integral to their relationship and Jesse taking the brunt of the emotional damage. I felt that both Tara and Charlie were quite selfish and dismissive of Jesse's reservations and fear of being pushed out of the relationship. Realistically, neither of them had given them a reason not to believe that he would be pushed out as they were keeping a huge shared secret behind his back. I wish the story would have focused more on the emotional development between the characters instead of substituting communication with (makeup) sex.

I’m always drawn to an omegaverse, and this one DID NOT disappoint!
The plot was different than any omegaverse I’ve ever read (which is hard to come by for me since I feel like I’ve read them all🤣) so it was refreshing for me!
It was fast paced as heck, but I don’t mind that at all. The scenes were well-written, and the dynamics were AMAZING between the 3 main characters. The way they bounced back and force as switches was very nice. I liked seeing every side of them.

I only knocked a star because I could guess the plot twist very easily 🤣 but the vibes were immaculate and I loved the duality and representation 🥰

Thank you to the authors and team for allowing me to read this ARC !

I loved this so much, i ate up the prequel and was so excited for more and boy did this deliver!
Charlie, Tara and Jesse was amazing together.
I loved Charlie, our alpha, he's big and sweet and doesn't actually like the typical alpha.
Tara was a lovely change too, she was cute and knew what she wanted and she wasn't just a meek omega she topped Jesse most of the time!
Jesse our loveable beta was amazing too, they balanced out Charlie and Tara perfectly and made it into the perfect trio!
I could read about these three for life!

Great Omegaverse!

This was such a fun and heartfelt omegaverse story! I loved the characters and how supportive they were of each other and the career paths each of the characters followed!

I definitely liked the twist of hidden identity and some of those "it's always been you" moments of pining we see throughout the story.

Overall, I enjoyed how fast paced the story way and how the characters came together. I liked that there was a little drama of Charlie being the Alpha from the heat hotel (in the Game On novella) and how they all work through things as a pack.

This was silly spicy fun that was better than I expected and had a really nice friends to lovers arc with our two mmc’s.
The secrets that were kept to only intentionally create conflict in the plot so that there’d be a third act breakup felt kind of unnecessary.
It also would’ve been a million times better if I didn’t absolutely hate almost every single nickname/pet name used lol.
