The Anatomy of Secret Sins, Presumptuous Sins, Sins in Dominion, and Uprightness

Rate this book
David prayed to be delivered from secret sins hidden deep in his heart. Though Christ often condemned sins of the heart more than sins of the flesh, we seldom hear about these hidden sins. In this scarce Puritan work, Obadiah Sedgwick confronts the hidden sins of the heart and shows us how to find them, how to define them, and how to expunge them.

I think the best compliment I can give to a work on practical theology is that it helped strengthen & keep me from sin.

This is a highly readable and rich work that will encourage you towards Godliness.

Read the puritans & read them often; they will bless your soul
