Sequence of Events The sequence of events in the book follows a traditional chronological order. This linearity makes it easy to track the progress of the narrative and the changes that occur. The connections between different events are explained clearly and logically. Click here to view a timeline of the major events. >>> https://script.google.com/macros/s/AK...

Growing up knowing Hejira as her masterpiece - one of the greatest albums ever - but having only a scatty knowledge of her earlier work, this book was fascinating, since it came out just prior to Hejira. Indeed it seems apologetic for her most recent album at the time of writing- the hissing of summer lawns.
