Жазэфіна Марк больш за ўсё любіць маляваць ваўкоў. Ваўкоў ды іншых звяроў.
У гэтай кнізе Воўк прыходзіць у лясную лякарню, а тут паляўнічыя. І ратавацца ваўку выпадае з маленькім трусікам, які вельмі-вельмі хворы.
І ў іх пачынаюцца прыгоды — вельмі-вельмі вострасюжэтныя. Можна сказаць, гэта блакбастар у лесе. Страшэнна добры блакбастар.
У гэтай кнізе Воўк прыходзіць у лясную лякарню, а тут паляўнічыя. І ратавацца ваўку выпадае з маленькім трусікам, які вельмі-вельмі хворы.

What a fantastically heartwarming and hilarious book!
The hunter is shooting again. This time, he almost killed the wolf. Almost. A sick bunny saved him though and from now on, in accordance with the wolf codex, the wolf can't eat the bunny but has to protect and care for her.
Thus begins a cockamamie road trip that leads to bars, bad motels, bear caves and loads of other places.
Whether figuring out meter-long medication plans or where the hell they are / need to go, this duo was simply the best! Opposites attract and all that.
The book made me burst out laughing several times but it also knew exactly when to be a bit more quiet and talk about the serious stuff. Like illness and how it affects one's surroundings / relationships.
I only discovered this book thanks to a review here on GR but the quirky drawing style paired with the funny title immediately caught my attention and after reading the blurp, I had to have it.
I'm also happy to say that this is already nominated for a "Max und Moritz" prize this year - deservedly so and I hope it will win. Just like I'm hoping there will be translations so I can thrust the book into the hands of all my friends (I already bought a copy for my best friend for her birthday). *lol*

August 25, 2024Hay libros de los que es muy difícil escribir un resumen de la trama en un par de líneas porque es imposible condensar en ellas todo lo que te transmite, por lo que cualquier intento no estaría a la altura de lo retratado. De «A toda pastilla» podría decirse que cuenta la historia de un conejo que está recibiendo quimioterapia, del lobo solitario al que le salva la vida y del viaje por carretera que juntos emprenden en pos de la libertad y de la curación. Pero resumirlo así deja fuera el humor irreverente, la ternura a raudales y el precioso mensaje de este cómic enfocado a lectores/as a partir de 10 años: que las amistades más insólitas son las que nos salvan la vida, que hay que elegir bien quién nos acompaña en el camino, que todos somos susceptibles de mejorar, que de todo se sale.
A TODA PASTILLA es un cómic espléndido, originalísimo y emocionante que trata temas muy complejos haciéndolos accesibles para todos los públicos. Bravo.

Super unterhaltsam und das trotz ernstem Thema. Aber einige erzählerische Momente haben mir nicht so gut gefallen. Dafür war der Zeichenstil sehr besonders zwischen cute und verrückt. 😊

Colpito dal titolo e dall'immagine di copertina, quando l'ho preso in mano per catalogarlo ne ho letto alcune pagine. Divertente da subito, il tema della malattia anche emerge fin dalle prime tavole. Per questo, incerto sull'età di lettura consigliata, l'ho rimandato alla pausa pranzo.
Me lo sono letto con piacere.
L'ho trovato molto tenero e capace di toccare una tematica difficile da spiegare ai più piccoli - il cancro, il bisogno di cure costanti per un periodo prolungato - con tatto e intelligenza, ammorbidendo la pillola con le avventure iperboliche di questa accoppiata improbabile.
È anche un inno riuscito all'amicizia disinteressata, al di là delle diversità.
Ti spezza anche il cuore, eh, quando al piccolo coniglio comincia a cadere il pelo. Però a volte basta che qualcuno che ti vuole bene ti regali un poncho.
Me lo sono letto con piacere.

Ein wahnsinnig toller Comic über Chemotherapie und Krebs. Das ist erst einmal ein sehr schweres Thema, welches hier behutsam und einfühlsam dargestellt wird. Das Ganze erlangt für das Kaninchen wieder etwas an Leichtigkeit zurück und mit einem positiven Ausgang, hat es auch etwas sehr ermutigendes. Vermutlich vor allem, weil die Autorin das ganze selbst durchgestanden hat. Der Comic ist wunderschön gezeichnet und viele der Illustrationen sind unfassbar niedlich und lustig. Der Schreibstil ist sehr modern und auf der Höhe unserer Zeit, was mir echt gut gefallen hat und damit definitiv seine Zielgruppe anspricht. Die Story ist witzig, spannend, überraschend und emotional. Was will man mehr? 😄

L'estem llegint pel club de lectura infantil que modero. La veritat és que és molt complicat parlar del tema que tracta amb sensibilitat, però sense sensibleria, d'una manera diveritda i carinyosa. Un llibre molt necessari. Espero poder treure'n suc al club.

Cosa succede quando un Coniglio salva la vita a un Lupo? che il Lupo, secondo il "codice dei Lupi", è costretto a salvare la vita al Coniglio. Inizia così una strana avventura che vede protagonisti un Coniglio e un Lupo.
Il loro viaggio li costringerà a rubare, a nascondersi dai cacciatori, e porterà noi lettori a ridere e a riflettere.
In questo volume il tema della malattia è trattato in maniera molto delicata ma veritiera. Il Coniglio infatti è molto malato, e con sè ha una cura lunga da rispettare e tante medicine da prendere.
La malattia però non diventa il tema centrale, ma un argomento su cui riflettere, perchè non viene nascosta ma anzi viene illustrato tutto quello che comporta.
Il Coniglio però ha al suo fianco il Lupo che è sempre pronto a sostenerlo e ad aiutarlo in tutto.
Questo è un volume che rompe i vari schemi narrativi: il Lupo non è solo un animale feroce e, d'altra parte, neanche il Coniglio è solo una creatura indifesa. Entrambi sanno diventare forti e cattivi quando vengono attaccati.
Il loro rapporto porta anche a riflettere sul significato di famiglia, perchè siamo noi a scegliere con chi condividere la vita, non bastano i semplici "legami di specie".

Una lettura davvero divertente ma anche tenerissima su due animali che non potrebbero essere piú diversi.
Per un caso fortuito nasce un'amicizia un pó insolita tra un coniglio... e un lupo! Tutto perchê casualmente il coniglio salva il lupo da una pallottola da parte di un cacciatore. Da lî i due partono per un viaggio che dura tutte le stagioni, con l'obiettivo di continuare la fuga dal cacciatore ma anche quello di continuare e concludere la cura che sta facendo coniglio.
Davero una piacevole lettura che si divora comodamente in un'oretta o poco meno 🐺🐰

Para mí, habla de la lealtad, los vínculos, encontrar tu lugar, el cariño, la vida… Tiene escenas de todo tipo. Con las que te ríes, te emocionas, se te encoge el corazón, para “bien” y para “mal”, y con las que lloras.

Ich finds super! Die Mischung aus Ernsthaftigkeit und Humor mag, genau wie die optische Darstellung, nicht jedermanns Sache sein, aber ich persönlich finde Trip mit Tropf absolut lobenswert. Das sehr ernste Thema Krankheit wird hier facettenreich bearbeitet und sorgt für einen hochwertigen Comic-Trip, den man nicht einfach als Kinderbuch abstempeln sollte.

Das Kaninchen erhält im Waldkrankenhaus eine Chemotherapie und liegt am Tropf – dazu gibt es einen ellenlangen Medikamentenplan. Ganz traurig sitzt es dort im Gras. Als der ungeduldige Wolf hereinpoltert, bringt er gleich alles durcheinander. Warten ist nicht seine Sache, da kann er seine Wunde auch selbst nähen. Etwas zu Essen könne man ihm hier präsentieren, meint der hungrige Isegrim. Aber hey – da sitzt ja ein Kaninchen. Allerdings scheint das ungenießbar, denn es stinkt gewaltig nach Chemikalien. Als gäbe es nicht genügend Unruhe, platzen jetzt auch noch die Jäger herein. Man gut, dass der Wolf das Kaninchen hat, das ihm im letzten Augenblick das Leben rettet. Von wegen! So ein Mist! Der Wolfskodex schreibt nämlich vor: Rettet dir jemand das Leben, musst du ihn beschützen, eben auch sein Leben retten.
Nun hat der Wolf das Kaninchen an der Backe, dem ständig kotzübel ist, das seine Tropfstange, Tropf und Medikamentenkoffer mit sich schleift, einschließlich der langen Liste. Der Jäger gibt selbstverständlich nicht auf. Dieser Wolf wird ihm nicht durch die Lappen gehen! Halali, die Jagd beginnt! Doch der Wolf weiß sich zu helfen. Er klaut dem Jäger seinen SUW und ab gehts, samt Kanninchen. «Looking for adventure ... Born to be wild!», laut singen die beiden, während sie zu einem wilden Roadtrip aufbrechen. Teamarbeit: bei den Touris müssen sie Sprit klauen. Der Wolf erschreckt, das Kanickel klaut. Abenteuer für Abenteuer: Sie werden sich mit einer Rockerband anlegen und ein Motorrad klauen, auf ein Wolfsrudel treffen, durch Eis und Schnee bis zum Rand der Erschöpfung stapfen. Ein schießwütiger Jäger mit dämlichen Hund bleibt ihnen auf den Fersen. Ein gefrierender Infusionsbeutel, eine brennende Hütte, billige Motels, eine Bärin, das alles schweißt die beiden ungleichen Geschöpfe zusammen. Braucht man ein Rudel oder kommt man besser alleine klar? Das ist die große Frage ... Wird der Jäger sie erwischen?
Ein witziger Comic, der einerseits eine Krebserkrankung aufnimmt – das Kaninchen, das am Tropf hängt, nach Chemie stinkt, dem ständig Haare ausfallen – andererseits Freundschaft in einer Buddy-Roadtrip-Story. Es stecken eine Menge herrliche Anspielungen darin. Ein cooler Comic mit viel Empathie, der so richtig Spaß macht. Die Krebserkrankung als Fabel, sensibel dargestellt, eine Geschichte, die berührt. MY TRIP WITH DRIP is a graphic novel about unlikely friends, working together, and illness. A bunny and wolf are both in a hospital when hunters attack. The bunny has a long mediplan, while the wolf stitched himself up after a gunshot wound. The bunny deflects a bullet from the hunters with his IV stand, and the wolf declares that since his life was saved, he now has to help the bunny. They go on a wild trip as the wolf helps with the mediplan for the bunny, meeting various animals and encountering challenging situations along the way.
What I loved: This graphic novel deals with some big and challenging themes using a bit of humor. The bunny is clearly dealing with a big illness that requires a large mediplan, suggesting something chronic or serious. They are also dealing with violence from hunters all along the way. An unlikely friendship has formed between the two, built on respect and looking out for each other.
The illustrations are fantastic throughout with lots of details and great use of color. The themes of the color change with the mood throughout the story, helping to infuse it with emotion and make it reach the heart of the reader. As the two animals deal with challenges both external and internal (from the bunny's illness), they work together and find a way through.
Due to the themes and length of the story, this will work best for mature middle grade readers who can understand and appreciate the nuance as well as the complexity of the story.
Final verdict: MY TRIP WITH DRIP is a touching and engaging graphic novel about illness and friendship that will charm older middle grade readers.

The bunny is clearly dealing with a big illness that requires a large mediplan, suggesting something chronic or serious. They are also dealing with violence from hunters all along the way. An unlikely friendship has formed between the two, built on respect and looking out for each other.
The illustrations are fantastic throughout with lots of details and great use of color. The themes of the color change with the mood throughout the story, helping to infuse it with emotion and make it reach the heart of the reader. As the two animals deal with challenges both external and internal (from the bunny's illness), they work together and find a way through.
Due to the themes and length of the story, this will work best for mature middle grade readers who can understand and appreciate the nuance as well as the complexity of the story.
Final verdict: MY TRIP WITH DRIP is a touching and engaging graphic novel about illness and friendship that will charm older middle grade readers.
