When Niomie Roland isn't dreaming up sexy heroes and feisty heroines, she can be found in her kitchen cooking a concoction for her husband (that she won't eat herself), shopping online or watching YouTube videos.
This was a really good book but Connor did kinda piss me off a bit. Meesha did kiss another guy and I fault her for not telling him sooner and them talking about but them going through all of that for just a kiss was to much. I think they should have at least went to marriage consulting before they separated for those weeks. But in the end they finally worked everything out.
Meesha and Conner was good every ones life starts off with trust, Meehan should have talked to Conner about her fears it would have helped but love will always conquer
This was a awesome story! I loved the storyline. Loved the chemistry between Conner and Meesha it was smoking hot and off the charts. The drama had you on the edge of your seats. Loved the happy ending. I say get this book you will not be disappointed.
This story is a fairly quick read, with a uncomplicated plot and a smidgen of character development.
The issue is the ML seemed to have the character development even though he was wronged.
The h in the story was not likeable. She had several doubts about her relationship, and knowingly chose to do something that hurt her fiancée.
Instead of being entirely honest with him, she kept massaging the truth, whining, and gaslighting him for being angry about her actions.
She played the victim and just came off as immature and very selfish. The story stated she kissed Dennis twice and even though she later described what happened, since she didn't even own the number of kisses, it makes me think a lot more happened and she lied about it too.
Everyone felt sorry for her, no one really checked her on her behavior, and they just assured her Connor would get over it. No one was going out of their way to help him.. just sad.
I think the story should've allowed Dennis to tell show the events from his perspective, so we could see what really happened.
Her reasoning for her actions was silly and immature.
Meesha lied and stuck with it the entire book, and I think the author making Connor forgive her, really impacted the story. I wish there was a different HEA for Connor, because Meesha was irredeemable.
I may have only given it three stars because I did not like the MFC. The author’s writing and the story itself was not the issue. I loved the other stories in this series, but Meesha though saying “sorry” was enough and for the most part did nothing to reassure Conner. If it was the other way around, that would not fly.
Connor and Meesha have been each other's oil and water, stars and the moon but when it comes down to it their entire life has been the love and marriage to each other.

Meesha and Connor’s story grabs you and doesn’t turn you loose at all! This story was fantastic. I absolutely loved the spice, the drama, the suspense and the romance of it all. Niomie Roland writes the most amazing and relatable characters. It feels like friends you know, and you can’t wait to jump to the next story to see how your friends are doing. I love Connor and him speaking French and the way he loves Meesha. I love Meesha as well. She’s so real she’s smart, but she also has doubts and is a little uncertain of how to express herself. I also have to mention Dennis because I was ready to pack him up. I loved what he brought to the story, but I was still ready to pack him up. This man appeared as a side note and reappeared to let us know that he was diabolical. This is a definite must read!
A sweet read! I enjoyed Meesha and Connor's story. However, I could understand having doubts. But at least her mistake could have been worse. I didn't care for the snobbish and, albeit racist mil for the simple fact she had been trying to bust up Connor's relationship long before Meesha's slipup. Overall, a great read with a HEA.
