Them Family Secrets 🤨
I wasn’t ready! The family secrets in this read, the disloyal and the bitterness! Robin you did that with this series!!
I don’t even know where to start with this review. This one was full of mess and truth! Now at first I wasn’t feeling the contract nor the history between families, but I understand it more. Kai & Vanna are product of their family past drama and determine to stay together!
Let’s chat on messy and petty Betty - Jada! This woman is bitter, jealous and definitely FAKE! She had her time with Kai, but chose to lie about the most important thing to him. Not just that, he likes them NATURAL women and there’s nothing natural about her 🤣🤣! Oh but my man start moving differently and found or should I say finally got that girl he been wiring thing change! She got bitter and messy which caused them paper to be handed over! I can’t really say what I want to say about her Karma but what I will say it’s babe her karma going to hit her like no other! Especially with her saying all she said to Vanna especially about her dad Moe and her mother!
Savanna, my girl FINALLY opening her mouth! Cause she was working my nerves with the quietness. When I say I’ve been waiting, I been doing just that! But my girl shocked me, she not as square as people. I’m happy she admits her feelings for Kai and regardless how it’s happening she making an even better life for self and now her children! I’m still speechless about the contract but her seems to work for her - 🤣🤣! But her father Moe! He has NO right to dictate nothing out say anything as he wasn’t there! Now with all that has been said in this read, there’s no get back for him PERIOD! I honestly feel her and Kai will have a happy ending and a beautiful family 🫣!
I would love to see what happens with O’Shea & Monet! Outside of what happened, I can tell they got something special! One thing I can say they both are some true and real friends! They have Kai and Vanna back like no other. Then we have Keenan, he just needs to accept and admit that women is not his cup of tea!
But Kai Godfather Ty and his momma! I think they have some explaining to do cause he not happy at all. Speaking of Kai, listen he playing game and to me need to address Jada! He giving her too many passes! The other thing is he needs to admit his true feelings for Vanna! He guarded granted but everyone is not Jada! One thing for sure they better stop messing with this man, my man lol! But arrested? Listen they better stop playing with him with the nonsense!
When I say Part 3 not coming quick enough, I mean just that!

2.5 stars. If you like reading about weak and unintelligent women then this is the book for you. Savannah has her own business and it’s blooming. Now that’s being overshadowed by Kai and Jada’s bullshit. So many times Savannah could have walked away with her dignity intact but nope, she likes her business being broadcasted all over the internet.

Okayyyyyyy
Can I just sayyyy that the drama in this book!!!! I could not put the book down. The only bad thing I have to say is that the books are too short (which the author had already talked about in the first book in her remarks). I am loving how everything is unfolding and things are coming to light. I’m eager to see if Savannah is going to end up getting her hands dirty or not.

What did I just read?!
Both of these families are warring generational curses!
Savanna has been sitting on the legacy contract, debating on what answer to give Kai.
Money (Money) is seeing that O can be the man to change her into a settle down type.
O’Shea (O) is Kairo’s right hand man. As things are getting thick in the streets, he’s realizing that he needs to take his gift in music to the next level. To do that, he needs someone by his side that grounds him. He’s set his eyes (and heart) on Money.
Jada is just a miserable, bitter bitty. She is doing everything to tear Kairo down and Savanna in the process. She lucks up on another scandalous affair, but doesn’t realize that her demise may come quicker than she ever would’ve thought.
Ty and Lawanna are working double time to keep Kairo straight, but holding family secrets is making this process harder. Because Savanna’s aunt Danielle is not happy with Kai being with Savanna and she is bringing ALL the tea.

Another Book with Six degrees of separation
This is another story where everyone is interconnected. There are too many coincidences and overlapping timelines. The story is bordering on the lines of unbelievable. The characters motivations for the things they do is nonsensical but it’s to set up for this very obvious repeated history trope.
There are way too many POVs. Literally anyone named gets a POV. It’s too many ppl to know and remember who they are connected to and this becomes difficult cause most of the characters have names are similar Kairo, Kairo Sr. Kairon, Keenan, Kendall; Kairo, O, Moe, Monet; Nessa, Alyssa, Vanna, Jada; it’s a lot.
There is a lot of cursing. I don’t mind cursing. I usually don’t notice it but I noticed it in this book.
With all that being said the messiness of the story makes it interesting. Even though I didn’t particularly like any of the characters, I want to know how it all ends and the books are short enough for me to get through them.

He can’t be responsible for his father’s actions & Moe act like he didn’t play a part in the situation! Like girl you lied to that man for 3 years & thought shit was finna be sweet? Jada had to know them divorce papers was coming sooner or later & she could’ve prepared for it. The secrets are coming out and it's on fire, Jada thinks she's doing something but all she's doing is signing her death certificate by Kai or Moe cause he's not done with her yes he messed up his daughter's life but I don't think he's going to allow anyone to bring harm to Savannah she has been through enough, and especially with his sister Danielle telling the full story about her mother's death, which was sad the way Pastor Ron's wife handled the situation, he was giving her what she wanted stepping down as pastor and a divorce, but I guess when a woman is scorned then to find out she can no longer have children, but to have that much control over your son making him do the unthinkable just crazy because his karma came back full force. So now Kai is in jail with time to think and put a plan together I just know when he gets out the war is going to be in full effect.

Jada a thug behind the scenes and fool outside!!!…She truly think she one upped everybody, not knowing the person she’s wooing is going to be her downfall!!…
I’m glad both Kai and Savanna got some of the truth about their family ties, but I’m sure there is more to come!!!.
Marlon/Moe acting like a protector of his child when he is the reason she is struggling with the loss of her mother!!!…
O is about to set some things off now that he has some more pieces to the puzzle about who ran up in the shop!!…
Monet is ready for a yams everything when it comes to her friend and I love it!!!..
I can not wait on the next book to drop, because that ending was bananas!!!…

Jada is such a horrible woman! She wanted to hurt Kairo soooo bad and wanted him to lose everything all because he didn’t want her anymore! She is truly sick and babyyyy I can’t wait for her Karma to hit! I don’t know whose karma I’m anticipating the most, Jada’s or Moe’s! Moe has alll this energy for a person that he doesn’t even know is crazy! Why not take that same energy and get to know your daughter 🫤! I’m glad that Savanna has her best friend Monet and Kai in her corner because the simple fact that people around her knew what happened and didn’t even give her the closure omg!

I don’t usually do book reviews - I just rate them with stars and keep them moving. I don’t think I even rated the first book. But I just read this in an hour and a half and OMFG. This book was soooooo good!!! I’m in love with Kai’s crazy behind and I’m glad Savanna is with him!! Everybody is against them but I’m ready to do all of them in just so Kai & Savanna can be happy ever after!!! This book just made my blood run HOT!!!! Had me locked all the way in!!! Patiently waiting for Book 3…………..I feel like a crackhead right now feigning for my next hit!!!

Arc read…..I’m so ready for more to come with this author Robin. She’s have me sooooo hooked up on this series with Kai and savanna ass. Just know from book one you’re going to be hooked and you’re gonna want morrreeeee like myself. Savanna is really falling for Kai and will take him on his offer with the legacy contract. I don’t like how moe trying to control her life when he was never involved when she wanted him too. All of the OG’s need to be exposed. They not telling it all. Can’t wait for book 3.

Man oh Man. This series continues to get better with each book. This book had plot twist after plot twist. I can't wait to see what the next book will bring. If you haven't read book 1 do so now! I have never disliked a book character as much as I dislike Jada. Kairo is still Kairo, LOL, but his ADHD really shows up and shows out in this book. Vanna is still peaceful, but I am ready for her to turn it off for just a second. Happy reading!

At this point Kai & Savannah’s relationship is more than a contract they are falling in love and don’t even realize it. I just hope all these outside forces rooting against them doesn’t hinder their relationship. Moe should be ashamed of himself instead of trying to be there for his daughter he’s just causing more havoc. Part 3 needs to drop like yesterday lol

Let me start off by saying this was a fantastic fast paced book book to read! There were No Errors and the author kept your attention from the first page.
Savannah has really gotten herself into a web of deception, Mo is really a monster. I want to choke Jada because she’s doing too much with her plastic self. I love the way Kai doesn’t let the past get in his way about Savannah Parents and his grandpa.
Great story I can’t wait to see how it ends.

I want to complete the series just to see if Jada and Moe get what they deserve. So far the Legacy hasn’t captivated my attention completely. Weak men always carry hate in their hearts for the wrong person. Moe should be mad at himself more than anyone. Moe having the victim mindset really almost made me give up lol. Kai is too comfortable and Jada 🙄 please go away.

Too many players
I see where the author is going with this book. And the storyline is lokey coming across as telenovela which isn’t a bad thing with all the drama.
There are too many point of views for me and it’s a lot going on. But what I will say is that I CANNOT until Jada and Moe get what they have coming. I really can’t….until next time folks.

Wow so many secrets, so many lies! Kairo and Savanna got a lot going on and Mz. Jada will be dealt with,this I'm sure of. Marlon aka Moe is out for blood but his anger is really directed at the wrong Steele! Keenan knew he was wrong but leaked that information anyway, karma will find him too! Great read can't wait for the next read!

This series stressing me out! All the tea is being spilled and it’s hot. They always say what’s done in the dark will always come to light but damn. These people are diabolical and everything is coming full circle. Jada just don’t learn. I can’t wait for her to be dismissed. I feel like Savanna gonna crash out. Can’t wait for book 3.

They trying to take a real one from his children they must be stopped. I fear they're about to unleash the beast in Kairo and Savanna. The way all them people need to be in jail is crazy for how they murdered Alisa and her baby that's insane and I can't get passed it. I am loving O'shea and Monet I can see double dates in the future.
