When she moves into her new husband's Provincetown mansion with his eccentric teenage daughter, Karen Donovan comes across the diary of an accused axe-murderess and discovers that her stepdaughter's bizarre behavior stems from this evil, which longs to kill again. Original.
Ghosts, the supernatural, circle of time, psychos, shadowing, echoes of the past. . . .Well, I'm afraid of things around us that I'm not able to see. Now I know that suspense stories are really my thing. With the line "Past repeating itself", I guess it would be an adventure. Would you like something tragic to happen again or you'll do as Jessie Kaye did in the story?
A very enjoyable read, but the ending was slightly cheesy. It tied up all of the loose ends, but something about it didn't sit right with me. Overall, a good story, though.
you start thinking that you live in the same house you feel the heat the fear the pain and when it is all finish you admit that love can win in the end
This book is the reason why I learned to love suspense novels ... it's a remarkable book in my life... 'cause this is the first suspense novel that I have read...
