Published in Turkish, Spanish, and English, Ansuz is a collection of feminist fairy tales from the periphery that casts a mystical trilingual spell. It was born in the space between languages and in the intersections of friendship, feminism, and a love for literature.
Ansuz is rooted in the desire for sharing stories that question the centre. Whether that centre be European, patriarchal, monolingual or hetero normative. Within these pages live Istanbulite witches, Icelandic ghosts, benevolent monsters from Chiloé, owls, cats, and a melancholy Iranian artist. We hope these fairy tales will enchant you.
