I purchased this book for my recent holiday in Washington DC and found it invaluable. The guide includes information about hotels, travel (with an excellent section on using the Metro), attractions, restaurants, shopping and nightlife. The hotels and attractions are rated which provides you with a guide on where to stay or what to see. I actually stayed at one of the hotels listed in the book and wasn’t disappointed! There is also some information about places to visit outside city.
I this would be useful guide for US citizens or an overseas visitor (like me) whether you are a tourist or business traveller. There is so much information in this book that it would be just about all you would need (apart from a good map) for a visit to Washington DC.
