Once I fell over the cliffy in the previous book I needed to get my hands on this one needing answers to her best friend’s demise and the questions surrounding what actually happened still remain hidden.

Yet these two fall harder for each other, even though the red flags keep popping up.

I found the initiation in this weird
After getting paddled
Suck or fuck is the initiation process

But in this one our heroine came closer to uncovering the truth about our hero more than ever. I’d guessed the truth in previous books with what little amount of bread crumbs dropped our way, what remains to be seen though is what she does with that information.

Ok I didn’t write a review on this book because I was reading only before bed since I’ve been in a Zodiac Academy journey. But I really liked these books ! This last one was my favorite.
They are easy to read. The story is interesting, the girl is a BADDIE and the guy is a delicious asshole, you know just like we love it 😂

Book 3 of this brilliant series, and Roman and Lux are turning up the heat.
These two are a volatile cocktail of steam and what seems to border on hate at times .
Roman has to deal with a call from the prison about his bro, and Lux with her destiny and future in serious trouble.

The finish to this book is a cliffhanger, but what a cliffhanger, this is getting so tense as the series begins to wind up.

Stunning writing from Evelyn, book four will be epic.

The suspense and mystery hasn't stopped with this book!!!
Once I started reading, I had to finish!
Filled with lies, secrets, revelations, so much tension and a ton of emotions.

Lux and Roman. There is so much to unpack between them. While they are toxic, they also seem to just fit.
We get to see changes in both of them.
Lux, with her strength and courage.
Roman, is slowly softening.

Lux finally gets some answers and things are revealed. Where will things go from here?! I can't wait to find out!!

Holy man this book was sooooo intense each one is better than the last I swear . This is so much darker and more secrets . To the dear Evelyn do you have to leave the most intense cliff hangers known to man , I'm literally dying over here with so much anticipation for the next book like I need to know what happens . The amount of anxiety I had in the last few chapters was immense . Dive even darker into lux and romans toxic and intense relationship in this book when all seems like it's amazing book the whole world sets on fire an she finds the truth all hell breaks loose but unfortunately everything Roman thinks is the right thing to fight for he will loose himself . Can't wait for the next one .

This writer is good! She had me on the edge of my seat the past 3 books. This just keeps getting better and better. This is literally the first time the fmc and mmc don’t do or say what I think they are going to do and I love them both. So, so good! I don’t want this series to ever end! In so nervous for what’s to come.

This.....This book was EVERYTHING I needed but didn't know I needed!!!!

I started this baby at 7am and was finished by 9am. I could NOT put this down!!!!

Did it once again leave on a cliffy? Sure did, and a really good one also.

Lux is still on the hunt to find out what happened to Bree, and she will do anything, and I mean anything to find out.

Damon is becoming more unhinged and sadly more like his brother who's in prison, who he's trying to help get out of prison. He knows what needs to happen and what he needs to do, but is it worth risking what he's grown to care for, to protect, to obsessive and crave over?

Lines start to blur, and truths start coming out, and finally and end is near. And end to what exactly? Well, you're just going to have to read to find out.

All I am going to say is some people have what's coming to them, and Lux is a BADA$$ FMC!!!!! The end of the book had me yelling and clapping!!!!! Can't wait for book 4!!!!!

Highly recommend and please check tws before reading.

My Thoughts: I'm hooked on Roman and Lux's story. This book picks up from the previous cliffhanger and instantly draws readers in. I could not put this book down. It was an action pact from start to finish with another major cliffhanger. We get a glimpse into Lux and Roman's relationship evolving, but when there is smoke there is fire and these two are hit with a major turning point. This book has major spice, suspense, betrayal, lies, and twists. I can't wait to read the final book and see how they will overcome this.

Well, all I can say is that I am left speechless. I devoured this book in just a few hours.

This is book 3 in the Legacy of Lies series and must be read in order.

Roman Rush is the epitome of a toxic book boyfriend, which makes him rather memorable. Doing a lot of bad things for the right reasons.

Lux is super determined to find out what happened to her best friend, by any means necessary and I mean anything. I love her strength and loyalty.

These two together? Inferno. The angst and drama are absolute perfection for this dark college romance. Proceed with caution and read TW/CW. Ends in a cliffhanger. One more book out in June.

This series has me all over the place, the angst, the lies, the secrets, it’s never ending and I am here for it!

Lux and Roman together shouldn’t work but it just does ok…..I can’t even explain it at this point. The hate sex between them is on fire 🔥

Each one of the books in this series gets more and more intense as we go and it’s a rollercoaster I do not want to get off of anytime soon. Sign me the hell up for book four already!!!

Ooooo it’s getting so good, I can’t believe she finally found out the reason Roman choose her as his consort!! I was made up that she confronted him and the others and also trashed the place 🤣 I’m so excited for the next book but for some reason I have a feeling James is going to escape!! Roman is a walking red flag but I love him 🤣 He’s trying so hard to deny his feelings for Lux but he’s totally in love with her!! I can’t wait to see what revenge Lux gets!! Also need to find out what happened to Bree!! This book had me hooked, a short but amazing read that I read in one sitting!!

The relationship between Roman and Lux is changing with each chapter. Neither have had the best upbringing - Roman is struggling as his feelings for Lux are getting stronger, complicated and more intense - is it possibly love? Are these feelings one sided? Will loyalty and secrets to the brotherhood destroy a chance of a future together? There is an undeniable heat 🔥and connection between them! Then of course, there is the bombshell ……

A thoroughly enjoyable read from one chapter to the next - at times you are metaphorical “on the edge of your chair” wondering what will happen next. Maybe I am just a hopeless romantic, but I keep hoping that Roman and Lux can move forward and have a future together …. cannot wait for the next book to find out! Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊

Oh My goodness, first and foremost cliffhangers like this one should be illegal to write. Now my brain is conjuring up everything that could happen. Second I was right, I guessed in the last book who Lux's attacker was and I was correct. I KNEW IT. Now that I got that out this book was amazing. I ate it up in the span of an afternoon. I thought the first 2 books were as good as they were going to get but Evelyn just keeps me on my feet.

Roman- he is intense, in your face, but I think he has a sweet side he is too scared to show. From the readers perspective you can tell he really cares about Lux, but hes a live bo*b and is probably going to explode soon.
Lux- She is fierce, knows what she wants and doesn't stop until she gets it. I am rooting for her to get everything she wants. She deserves peace and happiness in book 4
Wyn- She is mysterious, i dont know about her, she seems to nice in my opinion (I have my eye on her, she is definitely up to something)

My heart goes out to these 2 people battling with their own issues, they are TOXIC but boy are they GOALS at th e same time. I am so excited to get all of the answers to EVERYTHING in the next book, but at the same time I don't want that book to come because its the end of the series and I know I am not ready to say goodbye to the Sacred Sons, Roman, and Lux.

Evelyn is the queen at cliffhangers!! Roman and Lux story is not over yet, the story between this couple is hot and heavy and definitely brings excellent spice!!!! I smoked through these books; I couldn't seem to put this series down.

Lux had a feeling that she should have followed her instincts, a bomb was dropped on her by Roman at the end of the book. What started as a game... quickly has changed to feelings being developed between these two characters and I'm definitely here for it.

Roman one of my new book boyfriends! Let's see what Evelyn has to bring for book 4 of this story, i can't wait!

There's something about this series that has a hold of me! I had hoped this would wrap up in three books, but the third book was so good I can't even be upset it will be 4. Lux and Roman are truly combustible in every way. This book specifically brings out the tenderness one moment, followed by rage and hatred the next. Roman is still blinded by loyalty, but we see more chinks in his armor questioning who he is and what he's doing. Lux is tired of secrets and takes actions into her hands in multiple ways. She is ferocious and tenacious, really solidifying queen status. I'm so invested in this series and now that almost if not all the cards are on the table I'm itching to see the outcome.

I literally CANNOT GET ENOUGH of this series! So so good and I’m not sure I can wait for the final book! Another cliffhanger of course but so worth it for the final reveal where I know it will all come crashing down! Another cliffhanger, but this book just keeps getting better! Twisted rituals, secretive clubs, and one determined woman! I have been loving this series from book 1 till now, and I am eagerly awaiting the final book in this series! The story of Roman and Lux just keeps getting better!
I have no idea what to expect in book 4, but I can't wait!

I don’t know how Austin does it, but the books in this series just keep getting better and better, and I won’t lie definitely more stressful. She’s perfected dark college romance.

Lux and Roman are getting more and more attached to each other, and I love seeing them opening up to one another more. That is until the truth comes out, and we’re left questioning how they’re going to resolve it at the end of the book.

I’m still trying to process everything. I devoured this book just like I did the other 2 in this series. I swear it will have you on the edge of your seat just waiting for the ball to drop. I feel for Lux so much. Everything she goes through because she needs to know what happened to her friend while at the same time falling deeper for Roman. Roman’s undying loyalty to his brother 😡😡 but he can’t deny his feeling for Lux. They are so freaking hot together 🥵🥵 but so so toxic. The cliffhanger OMG 😭😭😭

Evelyn has done it AGAIN she writes the most stunning cliffhangers, and such delicious spice. Lux has remained the badass FMC she always has been but poor Roman has GOT.IT.BAD for our girl. This was a book I devoured in two days, another 5 star read for me just like the others have been!

The "Secret" that Roman has is so explosive it makes me wonder how book 4 will end..I want them together but I don't...I also want to know what happened to Bree and why! the stakes get higher

Interesting read.
Note: There are grammar and punctuation errors in all three books. However, the storyline is pretty good.

The FMC is quite feisty. She’s a bit of a wildcard. Lux is opposite of her name. She’s not into fashion or eating healthy. She doesn’t care about being a stick thing bot like most of the girls on campus and especially not like those in the “cult”. She feels most ppl at the university she attends are a little cray cray but I think she is too. And with good reason. She’s hasn’t had an easy life and had a bad incident with the unhinged ex boyfriend from a year ago. Something about her causes men to lose their minds and want to keep her for themselves. Most likely bc she’s not trying to be someone she’s not.
Then we have the trouble maker MMC Roman. He’s ridiculously gorgeous, powerful and totally out of his mind. The plot to save his brother is a terribly plan. In all 3 books, it seemed odd that he’d go to these lengths to try and exonerate his unhinged brother whose in prison serving time for a crime he committed against the FMC. Only Lux has no idea the man she helped put behind bars is Roman’s half brother. And the brother, who is still obsessed with Lux has no idea Roman not only brought Lux into his fold but also has a relationship with her. It’s so so messed up.
And of course the plot thickens when two big turn of events happen. What is Lux going to do now that she knows Roman has deceived her? Will James the brother find out about his brothers ultimate betrayal? Will Roman be able to give up Lux for good? And who is responsible for Bree? What secrets is Wynn hiding? And how about Nathan who is James’s best friend? Will Lux take shelter with Ash or go home to her grandmother? I have a feeling when James is in the rehab/hospital he’s going to get out and all hell is going to break loose. Maybe then Roman will see how sick his brother actually is and the lengths someone like him will go to get to the one he’s obsessed with. Lux’s life and possibly another one (still not 100% confirmed wink 😉 😉) may just be on the line all bc Roman and his bros came up with a plan that is about to massively blow up in their faces……looking forward to the next book!

There’s a lot of unanswered questions and mysteries in this book that are finally revealed!! And of course it ends on a cliffhanger lol 😂 Miss Evelyn is the queen of cliffhangers!! I’m really looking forward to reading the 4th and final book of the (Legacy of Lies) series!!! 💜💜💜💜💜

I. Am. Shook. 😳 I KNEW this book had a cliffhanger. Evelyn Austin made it very clear and IN MY BRAIN, I knew to expect a cliffhanger. 😒 I start reading, get caught up in the twists & turns… and I completely forgot. 🤦🏽‍♀️

That is until I swiped for the next page and… 😩 DEVASTATION! This book really made me forget reality. 🥺

I concurrently love AND hate Roman. As I read along, I kept thinking, “This motherfucker is gonna hurt Lux, isn’t he?!?” Not only did he hurt Lux, he hurt me, too. 💔

If you think that I won’t physically fight a fictional character to avenge a different fictional character, you are mistaken, friend! 💪🏽😡 But you know what? I don’t need to worry because Lux is a BOSS BITCH. Lux is gonna handle her shit. Roman is NOT going to play her.

Ms. Austin, I am eagerly awaiting book 4. I need it like oxygen.

TLDR: The penultimate book in Lux and Roman’s story. Roman is still an obsessive asshole.
