Well, the new chapter in the Witchblade series that started off with a bang is now seeming to be more like a flash in the pan. Whatever story line they were moving toward has been sabotaged by all of these characters that are being reintroduced from New York City, and even more unwanted stories between Pezzini and the Darkness.

This volume has a single-panel page with one of the most feminine poses in the whole comic. Kudos, illustrator.

Reasonable compilation of short stories

Sara Pezzini introduces Deputy Rooney to her world, demons and all. The series of individual stories include an encounter with the Darkness, with Yang, with a werewolf.

Fairly entertaining, this isn't bad but nothing special: I still do not like the illustrations as much as in Michael Turner's Witchblade. Volume 3 next.

These first two volumes were really short and kind of 'blah'. I almost bought but checked out from the library instead, and I'm glad I didn't invest the money.
