Dive into a delightful summer read with the charming Folly Beach series from bestselling author Ivory Fields. Brimming with feel-good clean romance and beautiful themes of fresh beginnings and later-in-life love, this series is a must-read for anyone who wants to be transported on an idyllic seaside adventure.
Loved the book……can’t wait to read more! Ivory Fields writes very good books but they should be all included instead of short stories which are not stand alone. Coastal Inheritance is about a single, disillusioned social worker who finds she has property in her name which she has no idea of…….and that’s the end of Book 1! I received an ARC of this book and can’t wait to read the remainder of the series !
Becca fainted after receiving a phone call from the bank saying she was 6 months behind on the loan payments on her house at Folly Beach. She went directly to the Bank and sat and waited to talk to the Bank Manager in person. As they looked at her files, they could see someone impersonated her and signed the paperwork. Now it was in arrears. What was going on? She didn't own a house at Folly Beach, or did she???? Road Trip...... What a story. Love it!!!
I received this ARC from Ivory and am leaving my honest review.
I read this in exchange for my honest review. This book was much different than I’m used to reading and unexpectedly short. Just as it began unfolding the storyline and as I got I interested, the story ended abruptly stating it was the end of book one. I will be reading book two with the hopes of a longer story that expands what was previously written. Why did the boyfriend vanish and how? There are many questions presented, but zero answers in this first book of the series.
Although I know how these six book series go, it still irritates me that we have to go through all the stupid angst of the characters. She is a psychologist so her avoidance is textbook. Now she owns a property she did not buy and she passes out in restaurant? Honestly!!!
Wow, I love this series. I love how the entire series flows so well from one book to another, it's as simple as turning the page and you are right back where you left off in the previous book.
Becca learned that her ex-boyfriend has taken a loan out using her name and personal information to buy an amazing house in Folly Beach a place she has never been and has stopped making payments!
Becca's work situation has gone from bad to worse, after much pressure from all sides, she is going to take a short vacation with Lizzie and Teddy (Becca's dad) and go to Folly Beach.
So, pack your bags we are going to the beach to see what happens. I can hardly wait for book three.
This is an interesting read. Becca is having problems at work. Her live in Boyfriend disappeared without a trace. Her Dad is not ready to move on from the passing of her mother many years prior. Ends on a financial cliffhanger. I was given an advanced reader copy by the author and I am freely sharing my review. Book 2 Becca is in it up to eyebrows with the new ownership of the coastal house. Her job is going down the tubes and Tristen, the snake, is behind it all. Lots to find out in the next book. Book 3 Becca is learning how to relax and along the way meets some interesting people. The town festival is bringing excitement and entertainment to all. Kaden the Cad makes a surprise appearance. Book 4 Becca is in a mess. Kaden has stolen her identity and is planning to leave her holding the bag. Mark, handsome father of twins and P.I. Is becoming a love interest and friend. Book 5 Mark is hot on Kaden’s heels and hopefully will bring him to justice. Becca and Mark are flirting with a romantic relationship. Marks twin daughters are distraught with what to do about their Grandmother and London. Book 6 Becca and Mark are falling in love. Kaden and his sister are up to know good. Good read. I was given an advanced reader copy of this book by the author and I am freely sharing my review.
This was the start of a great story about Becca and her ex boyfriend sticking with property she didn’t buy in another town and with her dad and friend going to see the property and what to do. Thank you and this was a arc copy.
Kit tries to make his final move but against his sisters wishes, of wanting to burn the school and barn to the ground. Mark has had enough of his shenanigans and goes after Kit with deadly purpose. Becca tries to keep him from danger but quickly realizes that he really needs to do this. A few hours later, Mark returns with Kit in tow, spilling the truth to all, which includes his sister leaving him to take the fall for everything. A plan is hatched with the local police to capture his sister and comes to fruition when she tries to escape. Becca decides to stay there in Folly Beach building the community centre. Liz finally confesses that she was fired from her job by refusing to pander to wealthy families and the schools attitude towards them, as she accepts the offer from Becca to work with her and her father at the center. Moments before the celebration of opening the center Mark brings out to the new barn built by the folks from town as a thank you for staying and keeping the school when he drops to one knee and proposes to her. I received this book free from Ivory Fields, and I leave this honest and fun review voluntarily.
In book 6 the series comes to a close. Becca and Mark discover a fire at the schoolhouse. Becca gets answers about how the house came to be in her name. Mark finds out how Becca became a victim of her ex boyfriend.
With things settled about the ownership of the house, Becca makes plans about the future of the property. She asks Lizzie and her dad to joy her in her future plans.
Fun epilogue at the end of the story
Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.
