A blistering short story that will leave you a hot mess!
In the shadows of an ancient forest, scholar Elara finds herself drawn to a figure of myth and legend. Keros, a powerful guardian, enters her world in ways neither expected.
Experience their raw, boundary-pushing journey as instinct overcomes restraint. This short story delves into untamed desires and wild pleasures with unflinching detail that will leave you breathless and soaked in satisfaction.
I'm a puddle 🫠 just leave me here Sweet fat baby Jesus 🥵🥵 This book had the engine running!!
I wasn't expecting anything from this book, especially with this kind of cover art but BAYBEE!! Darkhaven absolutely slayed it! And this is her debut?! Fawkin hell! The descriptions of the fmc walking in the forest, coming across the beast, their... "interaction" with each other- I was breathless.
Excuse me as I drink some ice water, will my body to unclench, and binge all her books. 😎
1. The cover is misleading: she is a "scholar of liminal spaces" she probably won't be wearing a 2 piece in the field. 2. I didn't like that he didn't speak. I like when the monsters actually are at least quasi intelligent and can hold conversation. 3. It is a quick read. 4. This was apparently her first book, so I will put that into consideration.
