A broad overview of the state of play for cyber security. Showing age a little in 2020 as there’s plenty of more topical and relevant examples to use now, but for the time was up to date and to a certain extent is still, it’s only the numbers that will have changed.

Not technical so anyone can pick it up and learn and I’d recommend it as a nice introductory text to those looking to understand the big picture as far as digital security is concerned.

It is, however, absolutely “chocka” with grammar and spelling errors. So much so I question whether it’s had any sort of quality assurance applied to it.

Conclusion: Worth a read for those new to the scene of cyber security but skip it if you’re already in the game.

The book is filled with typos and editing misses. The author clearly states the threat that is present in not so technical way. Enjoyable, informative, but sometimes too repetitive.
