Sienna and Levi . . .
Sienna Riley shows up to apply for a job at Steele King’s Customs (“SKC”). With her knowledge of and involvement with motorcycles, she feels confident that she would be a good fit for the foreman job. As she waits in the messy office, she hears two men approaching as the one she wants to meet tells the other man to do the interview while he takes care of other important business. Before she can meet him, she hears him ride off on his motorcycle. The other man walks into the office and seems vaguely familiar to her. Benji Morales introduces himself then begins asking her “what if” questions on motorcycle repair. She definitely knows motorcycles. But the last question momentarily stumps her when he says don’t trust the (as he pauses to hear her answer) and she finally recalls the odd sign on the wall saying “Don’t trust the goat.” It makes no sense, but he told her they would be in touch as he walks out of the office.
A week later, she still hadn’t heard anything and her job-hunting (just in case) has been unsuccessful. So she reluctantly accepted her cousin Julian’s invitation to a Halloween party. Levi’s younger brother has invited all his friends and Levi is regretting his agreement to host this. Carter swears the younger crowd will boost his motorcycle business online, despite the competition of another rival shop just opening and stealing Levi’s regular customers. At that moment, a kid stumbles and crashes into the trash can, spilling soda cans all over the floor -- and obviously booze has been sneaked in. He gathers up the trash bag to take it outside and sees two guys harassing a woman. Before he gets to them, she smacks the guy’s face as she repeats NO loudly. As Levi told the two punks to leave, the woman walked away. But she came back when he was alone to mention the foreman job she obviously didn’t get. And the fact that she just slashed her harassers’ tires. He doesn’t even know her name, but she knows much about him and before he can ask her, his son Theo comes out back to tell him his brother is up to something he needs to see. Carter is doing a keg stand in the garage with kids not of drinking age and the police just pulled up. Between Levi and Sienna’s recounting of the Sheriff’s son’s bold sexual harassment, the Sheriff left while Levi and Sienna started to clean up the mess the kids left. Both of them are obviously attracted to each other, but Levi hesitates because of the age difference. He agrees to give her a kiss in return for answers about things she shouldn’t have known about him, then he sends her away (before he can’t).
Levi goes over to see his best friend, Brody King. The doorbell rings, and assuming it is the commercial broker Brody needs to talk to, he goes to get his laptop while Levi answers the door. Both he and Sienna are shocked to see each other, and so is Brody when he returns. Sienna knows immediately Brody is her dad, and is relieved because she panicked when Levi opened the door. She came to this address because it was an address scribbled onto an old napkin in one of her Mom’s old journals, dated 8 months before Sienna was born and mentioning a one-night-stand with a soldier going off to the war. They go to the kitchen and he asks if she was related to Amalie Riley… her mom. So what happens now? Levi can’t make a move on his best friend’s daughter! And with getting further behind on finishing their work and their customers unhappy, they need Sienna to help and Levi may not be able to keep ignoring her. How will this all resolve? Can they claim their HEA, or will the risk of losing his friendship with Brody scare Levi off?

Sienna is in Breaker's Isle for two reasons, to apply for her dream job at Steele King’s Customs, aka SKC, owned by Levi Steele and Brody King and to find her father. The sexual attraction between Sienna and Levi first meeting is intense, but Levi is concerned about the age difference. He is twenty years her senior and has a son, Theo, her age. Two good reasons on their own for him to walk away, or will he?
She gives him an ultimatum - he can ask he anything he wants to know and in exchange for her answers, he can do one of two things. “You can either kiss me… or hire me. Either way, you get your answers and I get something I want." What will he ask or will he kiss her “….pulling my lips to his and stealing my breath away in a kiss that can only be described as the most intense kiss I’ve ever had. I part my lips for him as his tongue explores my mouth, taking everything I'm willing to give. His body presses into me and I feel just how aroused he is by us kissing.
He was right. There's no way this kiss is it.”
Sienna’s mother, Amalie, has recently passed away. Going through her mother’s belongings, she finds an old napkin with an address scribbled on it, tucked away in one of her old journals. “The entry was dated just eight months before I was born. Talk of her one night stand. A whirlwind night with a young man who was going off to fight on the other side of the world. She didn’t even know his name, but he told her to keep in touch.”
Apparently she never did and the address is why she on the island, wanting answers. Is the person behind this door her father? Knocking on the door, she is shocked when Levi is the one on the other side. Then she sees Brody and when he hears her name, Sienna Riley, he makes the connection with her mother: “I see the resemblance. Same green eyes. Pretty smile." With the maths working out, it is a possibility that the man in front of her, Brody, could be her father.
Strike three! Twenty year age gap, his son Theo likes her, but not reciprocated and now, the very likely possibility that his best friend could be her father. All good and valid reasons why they should not get involved, but can they walk away from each other……
Once I started reading, I could not put this book down! It will charm “the pants off you” and leave you going back for more. I absolutely loved this story - I was hooked by the first chapter. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series! A thoroughly enjoyable read from one chapter to the next - at times you are metaphorical “on the edge of your chair” wondering what will happen next. You will fall in love with Levi and Sienna, hoping that everything with work out for them and they have a future together. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊

Sienna went for a job interview for a Forman position, a woman showed her where the office is , when she went in she saw a picture of the owner she knew him from tv show, after she heard voices but the man who entered was not the man she was expecting.
When she introduced herself,he tells her aren’t you young for that position. He Iasked her 3 questions and said they’ll be in touch.
A week passed and she had no answers, her cousin Julian says that they should go to a party and she should live a little.
When they arrived she looked around and she recognized the place because she came on here before.
Levi’s brother threw a party but Levi was not in to it he wanted to go but in respect of his brother he stayed, he went out for air .
Two young guys were bullying a girl when he went to stop them they insulted his wife and his son came to his rescue, when the girl came back he says why are you outside, she said because I want to be alone and I don’t want to face nobody, especially you.
A good book that I really loved reading ,
the story has a lot of surprises.
As always I would like to say well done to the author.

This book could have been much better! It has a potential, it really does. Tho the characters lack motivation to do the things they do. I get it, it gives insta-love straight away and there's no time for connection to build but why does Levi, a 40 y o man acts like a teenager? I can blame it on being so “in love” with Sienna but please, he's a grown man. He def can keep hold on yourself.
Some moments were confusing as hell. They also felt like they were brought out of blue. The real reason why Sienna ended up in the shop, the build-up a bike competition were flat as hell. The island's legends? Why was it even mentioned? In fact, I don't even remember the name of the island. Theo reaction when he figured out things between Sienna and his dad. 🙄And also Levi acting all weird after, I'm not buying it.

Their first encounter was when she comes in for a job interview and connects again while he is out with friends. When she finally comes around to meeting the man she thinks is her father Levi is there as well, and it starts their connection. They are drawn to each other but his partner who happens to be her father is like a brother to him and when she starts working for them the close proximity gets to them, and their feelings take hold. When it all hits the fan will he lose his best friend and partner over his long-lost daughter. This heart felt story had me connecting with Sienna and Levi.

3.5 rounded up - would have liked more detail, less surface level stuff. Specifically, the lighthouse, how things went from there, how Theo and Levi patched up their relationship, the events between Brody and Levi leading to Levi leaving, what went on with Josie, etc. More detail would have made for a better story - just like including the name of the hotel or the location of the competition in Houston would have made for a richer story. It wasn't bad, but it definitely could have been better with a developmental editor.

Sienna and Levi’s story is a good older man/younger woman, best friend’s daughter story that has these two meeting accidentally a few times then she comes to work with him and his bf/her dad she never knew. But their chemistry can’t be ignored. His will it end will they get their hea or will he lose her or her dad/his bf??.

Sienna is a strong, funny, take no prisoners type of person and she comes to the garage wanting to be the foreman. Levi has always taken care of those around him without regard for himself. This is a steamy, slow burn romance between a kicka$$ FMC and a lone wolf that cares too much. This is a new to me author and I can't wait for the next in series.

Good start of a new series. We are taken into the life of Levi and Sienna, a wonderful age difference story. They have met a few times and there was a chemistry and attraction between them, can they let their feelings and the romance grow or will they risk their budding relationship and lose each other or will Levi risk the bond he has with her father?

Sienna turns up in town looking for a lost relative, instead finding Levi. The older man, partners in the custom bike shop with Brady, has a lot going on in his life. Both Levi and Sienna are broken in their own ways, finding the strength to work through their issues. An angsty, forbidden, OWYM dynamic romance. A great read.

This book had it all, tension, drama, humor and surprises. Sienna is strong and determined to prove her worth. Levi is stubborn and caring. Together they are like two magnets drawn together. The chemistry between them is electric. A great slow burn forbidden romance.

SKC Dreams
Sienna is determined and passionate when she comes to Breakers Isle needing to find a new start. Meeting Levi was not only a dream come true but came with complications that added a layer of emotional angst and heat to this plot. I was invested from the beginning and could not put it down.

Very good age gap romance. Not my typical story with the motorcycle shop but enjoyed all the heatwave books from Anne so wanted to try this one. Really loved Levi, Sienna and Theo such good characters. Felt the ending maybe could've been slightly longer.

This book was muy caliente. Literally all the spice and sweet emotional thread pulling throughout the entire thing. I loved Sienna, she is such a fiery fun personality. Levi/Ace was very sexy. This launched me head first into my forbidden romance interests.
