“When things got hard with her, I walked away. I didn’t even consider fighting because I knew she wasn’t what I wanted but with you I'm going to f*cking fight. I'm always going to show up and I’m always going to choose you. Every f*cking time, even when you're pushing me away." That’s a good man Sailor. 🥹🥹🥹🥹
Sailor woke up to find herself married with no recollection of sayin’ “I do” to the man who just cracked her back. When memories of her quickie wedding start to resurface, she does what she does best. Run. 🏃🏾♀️💨💨💨 Unfortunately for Sailor, her new husband is taking his vows seriously and not letting her walk away without a fight.
Rival was givin’, “All my life I had to fight” cause, Sailor made him put in that work. He’s known she was the one from the minute she hired him as her contractor. He just has to show her how good they are together. Sailor gives Rival the opening he needs when she drunkenly propositions him to marry her and he readily accepts. Now, the real work begins. Rival has to convince his skittish bride being married to him is the best decision she’s ever made.
I’m so happy K.C. finally gave us Sailor’s story but, I have to say, the reasoning behind her and Rival’s marriage was a little far fetch. The Sailor we were introduced to in the first two books would’ve never gotten herself caught up like that and she damn sure wouldn’t have drawn up a prenup that said…….. you gotta read the book to find out. 😏😏😏😏 Outside of that, I absolutely adored Sailor and Rival as a couple. That man was patient, persistent, and intentional. He knew exactly who he married so, he made sure to put action behind his words and show up every f*ckin’ time. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
