Melissa thought the medical trial was about helping humanity whilst sailing the world and having fun.

She was wrong!

On the lower decks of a research vessel scientists carry out human experimentation, working to perfect a virus that turns men and women into monsters, transforming them into brutally efficient, high-tech, flesh-eating, dog soldiers.

Jason and Kyle work in the ship’s kitchen, their silence bought with money and threats, but when three beautiful young women are recruited for the project’s latest medical trial, they begin to struggle with their conscience.

Conflicted and guilt ridden, Jason and Kyle plot to rescue the girls.

But the men are dogged by their own demons and when the time comes, their plan goes catastrophically wrong!

I’ve tried three times to write a review for this book. I can’t save it. I’ve tried many times. I’m wore down. I’m trying to do this again. This is the fourth and final time. Either it will take or it won’t happen.

A very interesting book. This is a werewolf book. It’s part of The Outbreak series. Which is a part of the original series, The Kelder Experiments. The Kelder Experiments books get better as they go on. You get the introduction to the wolves in the first book, The Kelder Strain. Then there is the second book called The Alaska Strain. The drama thought to have ended, is still going on. It has only been moved to Alaska. The werewolves have more intelligence than thought.

The next book is the Kelder Prey. It is the next book of the series. I confess I haven’t read it yet. I’ve just purchased it. The next two books are etc, etc. I don’t remember their names. But so far it’s a great series.

Day Zero is the first book in the Outbreak series. The book is a prequel of the original series, The Kelder Experiments. This book shows how “scientists” find the “volunteers.” “Doctors” are a bunch of liars who kidnap teenagers and tell them they are giving them a job. They prefer young girls. They say that the girls’ body holds up better to their experiments. They become werewolves easier. Day One is the next book of the series, but it hasn’t been released yet. It’s also a prequel book. It’s already on my reading list and I haven’t even purchased it.

Well, this is all I have to say right now. I can’t wait to read the next book. Let us see if we can get a review from this.

Brilliant.

I didn’t expect anything less from Rebecca.
My favourite genre is werewolves and Rebecca has delivered again. An absolutely exciting, gripping and addictive story which is what all her books are like.

Only one downfall! I’m not liking the novella type books! I want to read it all now! 😁

Another 10/10 for Rebecca Fernfield. 👏👏👏👏🖤🐺
