Let me start with this: this book is NOT my cup of tea at all! But it might be good for somebody who enjoys these sorts of books!

I bought this book after meeting the author, who is so kind and friendly!!! I went in pretty blind, and boy was I BLINDSIDED!

This book felt like it was mainly smut with plot as a side dish. And the plot felt cliche at times, as well! Also there were so many repetitive moments whether it was restating the same situation, word, etc.

Again, this is not for me.

The plot of this book had potential. I came across the book and author at a local authors event. I was really hoping to enjoy it.

Due to several errors in spelling and grammatical structure that impacted the plot I would not recommend this book or the author. The book was fast paced which was nice, but that seemed to be part of the downfall.

Honestly, I'm not sure why someone gave this story a 1-star rating or why it doesn't have more reviews. Normally, mafia/crime is not a trope that I gravitate to either, but I enjoyed Take Me, Break Me. It was well-written, fast-paced, sexy, suspenseful and enjoyable.
