"Zombies, Vampires, and Mummies, oh my." Max said it — that settles it. Maybe she said it in jest, but...
In this trilogy, we've had our 'zombies'. And no, not real zombies, but based on real science. Now it's time for our 'vampire' story. Let me be there is no such thing as vampires.
No, really.
And you can quote me on that.
Once again, we'll discover that truth is stranger than fiction, as we begin another journey into the unknown — our main protagonist, Max, as our anchor in reality. And of course, her two faithful sidekicks, Bluu and Joey.
We've learned a lot about Max so far; we've been steadily developing her character. Now, in this second outing, it's time to shed a little attention on our second companion, Bluu. Let's find out more about her story, as Max shines her light on the darkness and leads the way.
Last time took place around the fall Halloween season. This time, we're in Christmastime December.
There is honestly very little I can say up front as an intro to this story. For right from the onset, beginning with the Prologue, everything is going to be set up right off the bat, and it'll be a mad race to the 50-chapter finish line. Another powerful story, another page-tuner, another emotional tale with more memorable characters you'll never forget.
So without further ado, let's jump into the Maximum Effect, shall we?

“Why didn’t I start writing sooner? Though strongly and repeatedly advised by my college professors, I was too insecure to think I could actually make a living writing stories. I mean, what kind of ridiculous pipedream is that? Now having completed my first series and seeing the wonderful and unexpected response, I have begun to regret that decision. (sigh) Looks like I have a lot of lost time to make up for. Hmmm … if only I had a Second Chance …”
