Raxor : The Protectorate Warriors Fated Mates Romance

Rate this book
Raxor
Gabby Post’s life on Tazira Station is a mess of bureaucratic chaos and alien diplomacy. Overworked, underpaid, and freshly fired from a job she barely tolerated, she’s ready for a change—just not him.
Raxor, a Tulian warrior, doesn’t do personal entanglements. His duty to the Protectorate comes first, and he has no interest in complications.
Until a fiery human liaison crashes into his path—literally.
One unexpected job offer.
Two stubborn hearts.
And a connection neither of them planned for.
When Raxor offers Gabby a position aboard his ship, it’s supposed to be a professional arrangement. But between his unpredictable tail, the way he watches her like she’s both a challenge and a prize, and the crackling tension every time they’re near, professional is the last thing this is turning out to be.
She’s not looking for a hero. He’s not looking for a mate. But the universe has other plans.

A slow-burn, sci-fi romance packed with high-stakes action, sharp-witted banter, and a love that defies the stars—Raxor is an interstellar adventure where two worlds collide and passion burns bright.
For fans of slow-burn, alien romance, fierce heroines, and protective warriors.

I am now on a Rayne/Protectorate deep dive. This is the first book by this author I've read and I'm instantly a fan. Before I even finished the book, I added the preceding books in the series to my TBR> I will definitely be reading them. And I'm praying that Zayrik (Raxor's bestfriend and crewmate) gets a book as well.

This is the story of Gabby(Gabriella) and Razor - finding their way to their fated HEA. He was a boss. She was a badass. She is probably one of my new fav FMCs. I love the way they care about eachother, acknowledging each others strengths and helping balance each others weaknesses. For 175 pages, it absolutely builds a solid multilayered story, and though I haven't read them yet, I'm sure it build on the lore introduced in the series.

So good.

Rayne Reilly’s Raxor is book 5 of the Protectorate Warriors. Raxor is a big tiger alien who spontaneously hires newly fired female human Gabby as the Protectorate’s new liaison. The Caption allows the offer to stand which is a boon to the ship as she’s really good at diplomacy and learns to protect herself at the same time allowing them to take down a newly developing slave trafficking ring!

I will admit it was the cover that grabbed my attention! :D This is also book five in this series. Raxor,is an alien warrior and Gabby, the human. These two find themselves having to work together and neither is very happy. A fun dynamic and entertaining short read. :D

Great story!

For some reason my Fire tablet keeps giving me an error when I try to put a rating on your books. I give it 5 stars. Great world and wonderful characters. I loved this one because Raxor is not your usual alien. His whole species is pretty unique. Gabby is an excellent female lead and their interactions are the type of slow burn you have to love.
