XOXO, Forever
by Elle Sparrow (XOXO Series – Book 3)
“For you – the good girl who dreamed of forever on her knees, with his ring on your finger and his rules in your heart.”
- Elle Sparrow
The love cycle has come full circle for the main characters of the third and final book in the XOXO Series by Elle Sparrow, entitled XOXO, Forever. Willow and Adam have gone through the gamut of emotions and relationship challenges, and now it is their time to live, enjoy and prepare for their future. Or is it?
Willow’s character continues to evolve and mature. She is still a strong, sassy, capable woman, but now she is gaining confidence; confidence in herself, but more so in her relationship with Adam. I love what the author has done with the three books in this series with regards to Willow. She is constantly growing and maturing. She overcomes personal battles and learns to trust in herself and “the process”. And in this book, she is now tackling one of life’s greatest challenges – a Wedding! Sparrow injects a new vibe into this book which was an absolute joy as far as I’m concerned – Humor! I can remember my wedding experiences, and most of them were laughing so didn’t cry. I found great parallels between myself and Willow. I connected with her, as I think other readers will as well. As for Adam, let’s just say he too has matured. He and Willow seem to “dance” well through the entire Wedding experience; he leads when necessary, and she is in step with him the entire way. The twists and turns during this dance just add to the chaos and unpredictability of a wedding scenario, making it even more fun for the reader.
Elle Sparrow has hit this story out of the park! It was unpredictable and crazy, just as a good wedding experience should be. The story has substance and will allow readers to really connect, along with still carrying Sparrow’s insane degree of heat. Nothing is perfect, especially when it comes to a wedding. But in this final book of the trilogy, “Happily Ever After” isn’t an ending, it’s the beginning of an amazing, relatable Romance.
Special Note – It is very important that this book be read after book 1 and 2 of this trilogy.
Favorite Quote – “That’s the thing, Willow. This feels like life or death, but at the end of the day, none of it actually matters. Not the napkins, not the signature cocktails, not even the freaking peonies. It’s about you and my dad. That’s it. The rest is just noise.” – Elle Sparrow, “XOXO, Forever”
Plot – Reality and unpredictability of Chaos. Two people fall in love and find their way through tough situations.
