A Siren's Summer For Love

Rate this book
A siren’s song belongs to one

Lavender Falls’ favorite siren, Sailor, has a secret—his real name is Caspian Coralia Calder, second prince of the Atlantic Ocean. When his identity is exposed, he’s forced back to Coralia Coast to accept his royal role as his brother’s right hand, to serve as the bridge between land and sea. But Caspian fled for a reason—he doesn’t believe he’s the right choice, despite his gifts. Now, with his friend Crystal Silva Hale helping restore his broken town, he can’t run again.

Crystal has spent years trying to be a perfect pixie, a doting daughter, and a compassionate sister. Her temporary stay in Coralia Coast has her juggling her first big project and attempting to mend her own family’s relationships while pretending to be Caspian's girlfriend. But Crystal has no idea how to be a girlfriend, and sharing a cottage together has her dreaming about a future she never dared to.

From intimate lessons to late-night swims, cozy dates, and an adorable seal, Crystal and Caspian have a lot on their plate. While this might be a siren’s summer for love, it can easily end in heartbreak. The ocean is as merciful as it is relentless. Will Crystal and Caspian be able to navigate the waters together? Or will the waves of past trauma pull them apart??

Wow. Just wow! This book was much anticipated after finishing Isabel's third book in the Lavender Falls series, Flirting With Fangs. This book was an epic conclusion to the series and I absolutely loved every second of it. I enjoyed my time in Lavender Falls, even though I've still only read books 3 & 4. Plan on reading 1 & 2 once I get some more of this TBR list down. Isabel, thank you for giving me the opportunity, once again, to read this gem! I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and am so glad Caspian and Crystal FINALLY realized what they had was very much real. Keep up the outstanding work! 💖💖

This was a cute story but it didn’t grab me like I would have hoped. I’m a girl’s girl, so I have to tell you the stuff that I liked to balance with the stuff that was harder for me to enjoy because this female author did some cute things and I want to give her her flowers. So the romance between Crystal and Caspian was sweet. The way they were friends and supported one another was nice, the tenderness they had for each other, and the way their friendship grew was overall good. I love a flirty outgoing man giving it all to a shy nice girl so that worked for me. The story was interesting but it did feel like it dragged a bit for me. The parts about fixing the ocean kind of took a while to get through, which was made a little harder by the repetitive writing style which I have a harder time with. There also just appear to be so many grammatical errors and typos. I feel as though this maybe needed another edit before release, I know I’ve come across books with a typo here and there, but this was a bit distracting in the quantity. I’ll end on a good note, the spice was good, it was hot, but sweet and tender, lots of consent but not in a way of overdoing it. Four peppers 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

The final book in the series is so dang sweet and poignant. This has a different tone from her other books, and it is fantastic! A 4.5 star read for me! We finally get to see Crystal and Sailor's story as they danced around each other during this series.

Crystal is the one who is left picking up the pieces after her mom died. She is expected to be the strong one despite having an older sister. Driven to fix her families dynamics at the cost of her own happiness and metal health. But when she travels back to Coralia Coast to rejuvenate the town, she finds herself at peace for the first time and having Sailor there helps soothe her mind and heart.

Sailor is living in Lavendar Falls and is secretive about his past. But when his past catches up to him, he doesn't have a choice but to return to Coralia Coast and his responsibilities. Feeling the pressure and out of place in his hometown, he finds calmness in Crystal. They anchor each other in ways they can't explain. He finds himself drawn to her and imagining a future together.

I love Lavendar Falls; this town has charm and heart. Isabel does an amazing job world building that you can picture yourself living in their world. I adore all of her characters as she concludes her story with love and care. It is bittersweet to be leaving this sweet world. I urge you to read all four books in this series and fall in love with Lavendar Falls.

First off, I’m so grateful to have been an ARC reader for this book! That being said, this book was amazing! I’m not going to lie, but I’m not usually a fan of books with magical elements. This book however, incorporated them so well, I loved them!

Crystal was such an amazing character, and I think she had amazing growth throughout the book. She went from being timid and battling her feelings inside, to finally telling people how she felt. Crystal is a character I can relate to. She was so used to holding her feelings inside her, and trying to be a peacemaker, to the point of making herself miserable to make everyone around her happy. I think Crystal truly did need someone like Caspian.

Caspian was awesome. He was exactly what Crystal needed to ground her and help her sort through her feelings. Caspian and Crystal were able to connect on an even deeper level with the emotions that they were both feeling. Caspian was exhausted with not being able to show his emotions either, but the one person he could always count on was Crystal.

These two were genuinely perfect for each other. They balanced each other out so well, and they support the other person more than anyone else. They made each other find who they are, and truly found the magic within them together.

Arc Review ||4.8⭐️||

Did I sign up for this arc as soon as the form came out? Yes, yes I did. Was it extremely worth it? Yes yes it was. Caspian and crystal remind me of what life and love looks like. They went through many obstacles in their lives to find out who they were as people and to find love. I love that this story was a slow burn and not a fast pace Insta love because the depth of their characters was wonderful. It opened my eyes to how some people in the real world feel and that’s something I look for in books, Isabel did her absolute big one with this book. I love Caspian and Crystal with all my heart. I’m so sad that this is the ending to the series, but it was the best way to end the series. Oh I cannot forget about the nicknames that they have for each other. Crystal‘s nicknames for Caspian were the funniest thing ever😭 Caspian’s nicknames for Crystal?!! Oh my God, my heart 😖 my heart couldn’t take it like they were beautiful. GET U A MAN THAT CALLS YOU MY JEWEL!! Overall if u couldn’t tell I loved the book a lot and I wanna thank Isabel for letting me arc read it! She’s on my list of authors if she writes it I’ll read it immediately 🩵

I love every people from Lavender Falls and I relate to the Portuguese background so much (my parents are Portuguese immigrants so it's nice to read about other second generation Portuguese)
Crystal and Caspian may be my favorite couple not only because they are adorable but they grow so much together and individually.

This book shows family dynamics and what it feels to be the strong one. These people have so mich on their plate, have to take care of other and can't afford to be vulnerable. Well, our MCs, here, both learn that you have the right to ask for help and to be real.

Isabel Barreiro always gifts us with cute talking animals, here we have Walso, an adorable seal who would steal your heart.

*Thank you Isabel Barreiro for giving me the opportunity to read an advanced copy*

This was so bittersweet! The 4th and final book in the Lavender Falls series.
I was waiting for Sailor’s story since book 2 and I’m so glad to finally hear this truth! Caspian and Crystal were perfect, I love how they get each other

This one kind of thrusts you right into it. I expected a bit more teasing over who Sailor really was but it was right in the first chapters!

I do feel like the plot or struggle is not really front in centre in these books. I’m here for the finally falling in love part. Sailor and Crystal can push each other away all day and say they’re just friends, but everyone else saw. The fake dating and teaching was very cute.

These books are like a comfort series. I get to hang out with my friends in a paranormal town and they’re easy to read. It’s like my own Halloweentown 😊

Thank you to the author for the free e-ARC! This is my honest review!

A Siren's Summer for Love follows Crystal, a pixie who is helping revamp Coralia Coast, and Caspian, a siren who had ran away to Lavendar Falls to escape his princely duties.

I was so excited to finally read Crystal and Caspian's story! They were always so sweet and I knew there'd be so much more to them! Crystal's struggles hit home to me and I really connected to her. I loved watching Cas show her she doesn't have to carry the weight of everything.

I loved the charm of Coralia Coast, especially the sweet Waldo! This is a bittersweet end to the Lavendar Falls series but I'm excited for whatever the author has in store for the future!

Ugh, I just love this book and this series so much!! It's so bittersweet to be at the end of it. I absolutely love Caspian! He is just so incredibly sweet, and I'm obsessed with him! I also really liked Crystal, and there were several ways I really related to her character, so reading her POV was very emotional for me at times. I loved all the cameos of the other characters from the series, and I loved all the sea creatures (especially Waldo he is the MVP 😂) I just loved it and I can't wait to see what Isabel Barreiro writes next ❤️

A satisfying end to a lovely series. A little repetitive at times, but if you liked the other books in this series, you’ll enjoy this one too. Crystal and “Sailor” are adorable together, and their story was worth the wait. Sad to say goodbye to Lavender Falls, but excited to see what comes next.

I've adored this book. Enjoy a lot with every character. Crystal and Caspian - the main characters - are the most adorable aspect. And it has been - still is - very worthy of reading about them and their worlds. About the rest, I'll always be in for Lavender Falls but Coralia Coast gets more relatable to me. Overall, I'd recommend here: 4,5⭐

Another great read by Isabel Barreiro. I love Crystal and Sailor's love story and how they supported, cared, and healed each other. I adored the new cast of characters, the seaside vibes, and especially Waldo the seal. It felt like a wonderful ending to the Lavender Falls series, and hopefully, a start to a Coralia Coast series. I received this book as an ARC from the author.

Ok, sooooo I know I said book 3 was my favorite but... Crystal's emotions just leaked off the page and felt like my own. Isabel has written a character that feels extremely real and relatable.

Not only did I love Crystal as a character, but the story of her journey with Caspian navigating their growing relationships was the perfect feel good beach read!

I feel like A Siren's Summer for Love closes a beautiful chapter in the Lavendar Falls series while also leaving open an interesting opportunity to write a spin-off series... I can't wait to see what Isabel Barreiro decides to write next!!!

Such a beautiful ending to an incredible series! Worth staying up all night for. I don't know what to do with myself now that this series is over. I will absolutely miss the characters and the animal friends. They will always have a special place in my heart.
