This book is incrediable. One of my fav dark romance to date. The detail in the writting is chefs kiss. And to top it off, Canadian Author!!!

If you want a book that’s suspenseful, spicy, and gripping.. this one is a must. It started a bit slow, but once it got going, it was hard to stop! The ending left my jaw on the ground and honestly I was a bit pissed that it ended so abruptly… but the author knew what she was doing by ending it that way.. because I will DEFINITELY be looking for book 2, and you will too, I’m sure of it! Absolutely a great read. It was easy to follow, the scenes flowed well, and overall I definitely recommend it!

I struggled finishing this one and I don’t think I will read the second one. I did like that the dual POV had some overlap with timelines to truly see both perspectives in different situations. I struggled with how both the mcs came across as naive idiots in parts. Obviously bad ideas and plans to the point it was painful to read and I couldn’t sort out how Dario was Don with being so reckless. I had a hard time believing the insta love, which I can usually forgive in books cause I love HEAs, but this one was too rushed even for me. I don’t know. I don’t regret reading it but it just wasn’t my cup of tea.
