The House of Something Witchy puts two girls into one of the most haunting pieces of true crime history.
YouTube sensation Mercedes along with her best friend Laney find themselves in a house with a history that most people know…10050 Cielo Dr. The house quickly turned from Mercedes’ dream mansion into a true nightmare.
This book is horror and paranormal with a true crime twist and I loved it!

So, I’m halfway through this book and my old, second hand kindle decides to glitch sending me to the ‘about the author’ section. It’s a fascinating read and you realise just how much of the author is in the novel. You’ll also find out that the band ‘Terrific Kid’(author’s musical project) that’s mentioned in the book has an album out and it’s an absolute gem! I played it whilst reading the last couple of chapters and the whole experience was elevated. The emotionally charged music coupled with the horrific ending ( that you know is coming and getting excruciatingly closer by every turn of the page) made for an exhilarating read.

Obviously, with a book centered on Manson, music is peppered throughout the story. You’ll be able to create a great playlist from the songs mentioned. Again, helping to become immersed in the world of the two main Characters, Mercedes and Laney.

Read the Author Bio first
Stream Terrific Kid’s album - Time is a Thief
Create a playlist of songs
Enjoy reading about the creepy goings on when Mercedes buys 10050 Cielo Drive.

I’ve loved my time with this book and everything I got from it. Hopefully, if you follow my recommendations above you’ll have the same perceptual and aural treat I had.

If you want a book thats gonna reel you in, break your heart and make you ready to jump in the pages in defense of the most heart breaking character.... this is your book! Artfully and beautifully written with drowning you. He brings you to the peak so you can see for yourself and it is absolutely lovely. Had a fantastic amount of spooky, its an emotional rollercoaster and you'll feel like you're there.
