Not all fairy tales are kind. Some are whispered warnings, some are curses in disguise. Love, adventure, betrayal, and madness await within these pages, each tale a gift, or perhaps a warning. Meet cloud cats drifting through the sky, enchanted inkwells brimming with secrets and stories, cursed wells that call your name, and chimes that know your fate. So tell me, do you believe in fairy tales?
This book read like a collection of fleeting images that reminded me of the mysterious, fragmented tales I used to read in my childhood days. I got lost inside some of the stories, a few of my favourites being The Forgotten Oracle, Chimes of Destiny and The Puppeteer. I loved the illustrations, the soft, dreamy art style tied everything together in a way that made me linger, analysing every drawing. I did wish some of the stories were longer, but perhaps their beauty lies in the poetic brevity that leaves just enough space for wonder.
