Silver Fox Easter Secret is a fast paced, fake-dating, steamy romance with forced proximity that takes place during Easter week about Tripp and Luna. Tripp is a billionaire in his late 40's who hasn't had the best luck in relationships; Luna is a hardworking woman in her 20s who holds multiple jobs to pay off her student loans. While Luna was working at the jewelry store, she gets an offer from Tripp she can't pass up - all she needs to do is pretend to be his fiancee while he visits his family for the Easter holiday. I appreciate that Tripp's family was not the typical, snobbish wealthy family; they were very loving and caring towards Luna.
Overall a very well-written story; will definitely be reading more from the author.

Cute seasonal, instalove, 25 year age gap. Luna and Trip’s story is the first I have read by this author. It’s a cute story with Trip being 48-50 years old and Luna around 25.
But, you will need to suspend reality for this one.
I would really question the parental involvement for an almost 50 year old man, but that’s where the story takes us. Trip is a successful businessman, however, he feels the need to coerce a 25 year old, down on her luck, drowning in debt orphan to pose as his fake fiancé for a family Easter gathering so he doesn’t have to explain to his mother why his old girlfriend didn’t agree to marry him.
Mind you Trip’s parent have got to be at the youngest, 70, so let’s put that in perspective.
Luna spends much of the family vacation enjoying herself and becoming enamored with Trip’s family, but when things start to get serious with his parents meddling in wedding planning, she starts to freak out a lot while Trip dismisses her requests several times to come clean with his parents. I don’t love those parts. He also coerces her to stay after she repeatedly says she wants to leave until he finally relents and lets her go.
Most of the story Trip is falling in love with Luna but I didn’t get the same feeling from Luna. Trip also doesn’t seem to be functioning as a 48-50 year old man, he just seems much younger.
They do get an HEA, which is a nice, warm HEA.
Overall this book is 3.5 stars for me.

The Reality of a Make Belief Love Connection -
Luna had just witnessed Tripp’s most embarrassing moment, so she couldn’t believe he would turn around a proposition her to help in the quandary he found himself in. Tripp was discombobulated when his Plan A fell through, but he immediately found a Plan B in convincing Luna to enter into a fake relationship with him. Even though Luna was apprehensive she agreed on the condition that certain terms would be adhered to. However, all the terms they agreed on changed after a kiss to sell their relationship and a drunken night of enjoying each other sexually.
Even though Luna and Tripp tried to maintain a platonic relationship, they just couldn’t keep their hands off each other and kept breaching the agreement every time they were alone in close proximity. Unfortunately, Luna wasn’t dealing with her guilt from deceiving everyone well, which made things worse for Tripp, as he was intensely attracted to her. Nevertheless, it took Luna leaving and Tripp’s family to give him the push needed after he confessed his deception for him to do everything possible to convince her to give them a chance at a happy future together.
Just like Hannah Rio’s other books, this one will draw you in from the beginning and keep you eagerly turning the pages with bated breath, as you enjoy the characters journey from meeting to getting the happily ever after they deserved. If you are looking for an exciting romance book to read that is worth your time, then grab a copy of this book now and you won’t be disappointed.

April 12, 2025This was a fun book to read. The author did a great job of capturing your attention in the beginning and making it hard to put this book down. This age-gap, fake fiance story is full of laughs and family drama. Easter weekend with his family and staying in the same bedroom leads to some steamy times and growing feelings. It won’t take you long to fall in love with Tripp and Luna. Things get interesting with his ex shows up. Does fake become real? Door de fijne schrijfstijl en de leuke personages ging ik gemakkelijk door het boek heen. Het is een vermakelijk verhaal wat leuk in elkaar zit. Het boek speelt zich af rondom Pasen, super leuk voor dit weekend! Ze hebben dus door het boek heen ook activiteiten met een Pasen thema, eieren schilderen en een eieren jacht.
Wat kan je verwachten: Een fake romance, verloofde, week naar familie, drama door ex en Pasen.

A great love story that starts as a fake engagement and finishes with a HEA!
I always reserve judgement about age gap romance and when I read that Tripp was so much older than Luna, and certainly throughout the book I didn't consider him a man of nearly 50 years of age, with Luna being in her 20's!
This was, overall a great love story with the usual twists that cause angst between the couple. An Ex that won't go away, has Tripp questioning his judgement in why he ever considered her as wife material, as once he met Luna, he realized he had found his true love! And who doesn't love a story with the Alpha MMC falls first!
Luna, on the other hand has guilt in spades as they both deceive his family into thinking that they are engaged. His parents and brother also fall in love with Luna!
Soon lines blur and feelings get mixed up in their deception and when things begin to heat up between Tripp and Luna, he starts to think, maybe it is not as pretend as he thought.
There is enough spice to keep you vested in their relationship and as Luna pulls away from Tripp, wanting to end their pretence, so when she finally convinces him to let her leave the family home, he lets her go!
How can he win her heart, when she clearly doesn't feel the same way as he does? Or does she?
Take a ride with Luna and Tripp as they navigate the web of deceit that they have woven around his family, to finally expressing their true feelings!
I have to give this story 5 stars as the author really did a great job making their connection believable despite the age gap!

I loved this book. Didn’t quite have me laughing out loud, but it was extremely close. This was a classic example of ‘he fall first, and much, much harder…’
Luna and Tripp’s initial meeting was chef’s kiss and set the tone for the entire story.
We knew the story will have them get together, but the journey was so unpredictable and hilarious that I think this book will be a re-read.
Luna’s interaction with his family and Tripp showed very early that she had finally found a family.
Tripp identified fairly early that he finally found love.
But… we can’t have the story end early - cue hilarity with wannabe ex-fiancés, crazy family members, creepy cousins , epic storms and newly awakened consciences.
The spice was imaginative enough, and I think we unlocked a few minor kinks (love an older man!).
Luna and Tripp were so cute while they were working out their feelings, and Tripp was hilarious every time he reacted to his cousin. Damon needed a chair to his face and I’m surprised Tripp didn’t murder him in his sleep! 🤣
I expected there to be some kind of angst, and it was fully understandable. Luna has some long-standing insecurities that anyone would have trouble overcoming.
Tripp? Well, he was all in from very early on.
The drama was managed well, but seriously - just TALK people!! 🤦♀️
Surprisingly heartfelt, delving into some deep emotional issues, this book was an enjoyable read. The pacing was fantastic, the angst/drama was believable and I actually believed in the HEA between them.
Absolutely 5+++ stars! ⭐️.

🦊 Tripp: He’s got all the silver fox appeal—rich, hot, and brooding—but his impulsive reactions (like punching someone at a party) made him feel younger than he’s written. Still, when he lets his guard down, his protectiveness and growing feelings for Luna shine through.
💐 Luna: A relatable and sweet heroine, though her anxiety over maintaining their fake engagement felt a little intense for the setup. I also would’ve loved more scenes between her and Tessa to deepen that relationship.

Well written love/lust story. Why a distinguished silver fox needs a younger (25 yrs) woman to go with him to his mother's for Easter weekend is beyond me. However meet Tripp, he needs a fake fiancee for Easter weekend with his parents so his ,other doesn't meddle regarding not marrying his Ex Jasmine, shes the one that said no. He found a solution he decided to find a fake fiancee, and her name is Luna. Luna is a very hardworking young lady, working several jobs to pay off school. She happened to have worked at the jewelry store where Tripp had bought the engagement ring to Jasmine and proposed and she stormed out, left him with our a fiancee until he makes a proposition with Luna.
These two are perfect for each other, they just need to see it. A few twists and turns come in the way,will the choose to continue the lie? Or allow their hearts and the truth prevail.

Tripp and his girlfriend come into the jewelry store to get an engagement ring, and he decides to ask her to marry him right there with the most expensive ring in the store, but she turns him down. He was going home for Easter, but he knew his mom would be all over him without a girlfriend. So he asked the clerk, Luna, to be his fake girlfriend. This story is funny, cute, and it made me cry during some of it. I loved this book very much, and I am glad I got to read it. I highly recommend this story. Great meet cute, lovable characters, hot scenes... what more can you ask for? I adore the chemistry between these main characters, so fun yet passionate. Plus the side characters were so interesting, I'm really hoping they show up in their own books as well! I highly recommend this read, you will gobble it up within a day or two!

He was embarrassed but he saw an opportunity when his eyes set on Luna. He offered her a proposition that she accepted to be his fake fiancé for the weekend, but their relationship took a drastic change when feelings began to blossom between them. This book had everything I love. The age gap, forced proximity, contract relationship, & spice. I read this in probably 6-7 hours total. I couldn't put it down for long. Loved the characters. Loved the chapter art, I mean a need a silver fox now lol. Mine was an unedited version and I did get caught up sometimes when it was more than just a typo but all in all I loved this book.
Hannah Rio is one of my favorite authors to arc read for and her books never disappoint.

This book was so good. I ate it up. Read it in one day. I couldn’t get enough of the playful storyline and was dying hoping for a HEA ending. Tripp and Luna are beautiful and the back and forth with them was perfect. I found myself smiling and laughing throughout the whole book. I liked the little bit of spice this book had but wasn’t overpowering. It fit in the storyline. I definitely recommend this book. I really liked this book it got to the point of exactly what the description said while reading I got caught up in the lie too. I loved the inner monologue for each character and how they couldn’t read each other. It put more into the book and why they were actually thinking while going through with this crazy lie. This is a fun and enjoyable fake engagement. Tripp propositions Luna to be his fake fiance and meet his family for Easter. It's an entertaining and steamy page turner. I couldn't put it down until I finished it. It's a great holiday romance and I highly recommend reading it. Ready to read the next book from Hannah Rio.

A sweet and funny, yet dramatic romance. This is a wonderful story and a great read. It's a bit of a mix between Annie and Cinderella in theme. Literally the only reason that I didn't give it a perfect rating, is because it needs editing. This is a good choice for fans of Romance, Drama, Age-Gap and Billionaire Romance stories.

I absolutely adored this book. I felt like I was watching a RomCom movie. I give Luna a lot of credit for going along as long has she did, especially with his mother! Tripp and Luna had this amazing back and forth banter. Their chemistry was so good that even they questioned their feelings. It was creative and funny. It was such an easy read. I could not put it down. I definitely recommend.

Silver Fox Easter Secret by Hannah Rio is a great holiday romance story. Tripp asks Luna to spend Easter weekend with his family as his fake fiancée. Their story is full of family drama, and undeniable chemistry. I couldn't put thee book down once I started reading it.

Ok. I love it. Such a great story. I couldn't put it down. The love story between Tripp and Luna is fantastic. It's definitely fairytale romance as Luna mentions. I could picture the whole story and it plays like a movie in my brain. Some good spicy scenes. Mom is crazy and over enthusiastic over everything and I'm here for it! Great read!
