Oof. I forgot about this author for a hot minute.
This one is oh so sweet. It's perfect as a light read. A world-weary older country singer meets eyes with another younger upcoming country singer, and the rest is history. Both are terribly besotted with each other. There is absolutely no angst. Reading this made me feel like I'm being hugged in a warm and loving embrace. So fucking safe.

I loved this one from start to finish!!
Safe. Hero’s past isn’t mentioned, but he doesnt come off as a manwhore. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero. No ow/om. No cheating or sharing. Hea with epic epilogues years out

This book focuses on Cash and Lola. Cash has had a very successful music career for over 20 years but he is now just completely over it. He feels disconnected from the world and is incredibly unhappy in life. That all changes the day he meets Lola, an up and coming musician. Immediately, his obsession with her begins and his new life purpose changes in an instant. She becomes the absolute center of his universe and his new purpose in life is to love her and make her happy. I love that they both felt the instant connection and both fell hard for each other at first glance. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

The spice was nice, the story was sweet, and the age gap was distracting me from all of that.

- HUGE age gap
- She is a virgin when they hook up for the first time
- The young, innocent, virgin angle was the only reason the age gap was so jarring for me the whole time. It haunted the whole story. WHEN OTHERWISE the storyline was very cute.

Normally, I’m drained after a show. I usually drink until the voices go away and my eyes close for the night, but instead, I’m vibrating with enough energy to power the entire hotel. The only thing that calms me, focuses me, is the thought of pen on paper, strings under my fingertips, turning this overwhelming obsession into music. I’ll write a hit song that we can sing together. That will bind Lola to me forever.'
I loved this book. It's not the usual setting I'm used to from Olivia T. Turner, but as always, it quickly hooked me. I loved both Cash and Lola. Loved that she literally inspired him to LIVE again; and to throw away his vices. Love that he channeled his obsession into writing a song for them to duet. It was sweet and hit me stronger than the usual love at first sight scenarios. I also love what an incredible moment it must have felt to Lola to not only meet the man who inspired her to be a singer and was her crush and lifelong idol, but for him to have known her name and told her she was "something very special." My fangirl heart was screaming on her behalf! The chemistry between them was scorching- literally stopping her in her tracks... more than once. I couldn't get enough of these two. My favorite scenes were them singing together, and meeting Vince and his nieces. I also need to point out Rachel as the best wingwoman ever!

This was a fabulous over the top posessive, dominant, very Alpha Cash character paired with a naive, innocent, talented, younger Lola. He was tired and weary from decades of stardom and living in a guided cage while she was still experiencing the high of being recognized in public or on the street. Their in two completely different places in their careers, but that didnt matter to them. The attraction was immediate and intense for them both, though it was Cash that continuously moves first (understandable with her lack of experience and the notoriety disparity). The story itself was engaging, the totality with which Cash devoted himself to one singular thought. Also, while Cash and Lola were certainly the main characters, all the secondary players were wonderful, as each had a role in how the story progressed. I would be interested to read a story about one of the other couples that was created by the close of this book (please).

Oh my!! Cash is really instantly obsessed with Lola as soon as he sees her. It was an easy relationship because she was already crushing on him since 13 years old. I like his obsession, his care, how fast he changed some things to be better for her, his desperation to see her soon, and how upfront he was with her about having her forever.
It’s a low angst, easy, sexy story.
The only thing it’s missing is the vagueness of his dating life. I would like to think he didn’t date nor had any casual s*xs either, because he said he was a loner and basically didn’t like people. But then he says he’s done a lot. So, idk what to think about his previous relationships.
I also would’ve loved a little more of the story. Especially, him proposing, how did the crowd/paparazzi reacted when they saw them together, how was his reaction toward what was publicized, them recording their new album, him finding out he’ll be a father. Just more.

Cash Edwards is a country star that his music has lost its appeal and does not seem to have any new music in him. He is ready to give it all up, he cannot stand to sing his songs anymore. Until he sees up and coming, Lola Lively for the first time, she makes him interested in something again, her. He should stay away from her, he is too jaded and old for her. There is nothing that is going keep him away from her, she has just sparked an interest in music, she is his muse.
Lola has a poster of Cash Edwards on her childhood bedroom in her parents house, she has always had a crush on him. When he shows romantic interest her it is like a dream come true, and he also wants to sing with her.
This is sweet and oh so steamy read as only this author can write them.

All heart eyes and blushing smiles
I went into this read not sure what to expect beyond “this will be a nice quick read.” Well… I’d say it was so much more. This was short, fast, so sweet and very fairytale romantic.
This is my first book by this author and I was not disappointed at all. If anything, I wanted more. I’m reading wondering, hoping, that this is based on a true story. I was so caught up I didn’t want it to end and wished it was longer or hell even a movie that I could watch many times over. I’m running to Olivia’s website after this review because I need to know if any of these songs are actual tracks because they need to be added to my playlists.
I’m going to end this review as not to drop any potential spoilers. I love to go into a read with fresh eyes and hope I haven’t spoiled that part for anyone.

This was absolutely gloriously gorgeous. By far my favourite OTT story to date. Olivia paints a vivid picture of Cash - the weary, lonely, depressed and disillusioned mega famous country star - whose whole world is changed the moment he sets eyes of Lola. I loved the instant attraction between these two, and the way they become everything to each other. Every moment was heartfelt and authentic. Their story brought tears to my eyes, and the steamy scenes were electric, hot and intensely heartwarming. That they were not only love soul mates, but also creative soul mates, was perfect, and I enjoyed the beautiful music they made together.

This was freaking awesome. Cash was swoon worthy. At the beginning he is in a dark place. He doesn't feel in control of his life. His fame is. He feels more like a puppet than a man. And I absolutely love how he changes so much as soon as he meets Lola. Heck, just when he sees her for the first time. She irrevocably stole his heart and changed his outlook on life. Lola was a ray of sunshine. She felt blessed and was thrilled with the fame she had. She was the girl next door. I loved these two together. Their chemistry was beyond combustible. OTT gave us her definitive OTT MMC. I loved every bit of it.

Lola has had a crush on Cash since she was a teenager, and finally meeting him and speaking to him backstage is a dream come true. So when he gives her a proposition of a duet she's definitely interested. Can the relationship stay purely professional or will the country heat become too much.

The way they both had ideas for songs whenever they were thinking about each other. I just loved this book 🥰🥰.

Super sigh worthy, moving, instalove story that hits all the feels. Both Cash and Lola are singers, but Cash was getting burnt out until he finds his passion again upon seeing Lola for the first time. Lola is just hitting the big time but has had a crush on Cash since her teens. Another meet up at a party and along with one horse stable things really heat up. OTT could easily be a songwriter but so very happy she chose to be an author instead!!!.

A Star is Born…Again
I hated all the remakes of “A Star is Born”, especially the original. This is the short story rendition about a burned out old country star, who has succumbed to drinking, smoking and loneliness, and the rise of a young, inspiring starlet. I despise stories about celebrities. I loathe C&W. I purchased this novel. Why? Only Olivia (over-the-top) Turner’s reputation for delivering fabulous short steamy reads with enchanting characters could convince me. I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! As Teddy Swims deliciously croons, “…I lost control”. I’m tired of stars 🌟. This is getting ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥.

Grumpy, burnt-out singer meets ray-of-sunshine newbie singer and falls head over heels in love.
It was short, sweet, and steamy—but unfortunately, I just wasn't into it. Did I hate it? No. Did I love it? Also no. It's somewhere in the middle of my scale, but since I wasn’t really invested, it’s gonna have to end up with a 2.
Kudos to the multiple time-skip epilogues, though. That should really be a staple when it comes to romance erotica.

This was a really good book! I really enjoyed Cash and Lola's story. Cash is tired of the life that he has been leading; he no longer has the desire to perform his music until he sees Lola. Lola is just starting her career and loving it. Cash knew Lola was meant to be his as soon as he saw her. There is no drama between these two but Lola is able to help Cash find his love again in music and they are able to get there HEA.

This was a wonderful and inspiring romance for Lola and Cash. They're both country music singers but he's been around for quite a while and she's new on the scene. That being said, she's crushed on him for years ;) He sees her perform at a festival, after him, and he's fully overcome. She becomes his muse and he truly turns a new leaf to be better for her. As they get to know each other, and make music together, they quickly find they're perfectly matched. What follows is a heartwarming and heated romance that leads to a fab HEA. Good fun!
