What a great start to the Angel Peak series and I loved it. When Dr Tess Carrington decides to take a break for a few days she finds herself caught in a snowstorm and stranded at the local medical clinic where she meets Dr Cole Blake. Their chemistry is instant and as they spend time together and get to know each other Tess discovers how much she likes Coles dominant nature. But she has to return to her job and with a possible promotion, decisions have to be made whether they will take a chance on each other. I love Ellie's books and this book certainly doesn't disappoint. This leans slightly more on the BDSM and it worked well with the characters. This is a beautiful novella that hooks you from the first page. I am excited to see how this series develops and can't wait for the next in the series.

Whew! Great character building for a novella. Dr. Tess Carrington is a trauma surgeon at Denver general. She is up for the Department Head position. Dr. Cole Blake is an Emergency doctor in Angel’s Peak. He took a step back from a frenetic big city hospital to be able to treat the entire patient holistically.
Snowed in together they have a visceral reaction to each other, yet spend time learning about each other. She plays cello, he builds furniture, their likes on reading, TV, travel and more.
They agree to try a long-distance relationship, but those are frequently destined to fail. Inhaled this in short order - it was engaging, sexy and realistic.

Tess and Cole meet unexpectedly. Tess needed a weekend getaway to a friend's mountain cabin. Her plans were thwarted in the best way possible. She got stuck at a small mountain clinic. Cole is the doctor in charge of the clinic. They are attracted to each other immediately. What follows is an insta love story that will warm your heart. They found in each other something that neither one knew they needed. HEA guaranteed. This is the beginning of a new series by Ellie Masters, and she has, in my opinion, another winner. A definite 5 star read. Sorry, no spoilers. I received this ARC, and here is my honest review.

A weekend away turns into a weekend filled with lust. But Tess' career is in Denver and Cole lives in Angel Peak. Still, there is something between them that neither wants to give up. This story is a little heavier on the BDSM that the author's usual fare, making it a nice steamy read. This aspect of the story also drives a lot of the storyline. They both have fulfilling careers in the own towns, but the BDSM relationship continues to grow between them. But can they last long term. Thankfully we get the answer and the HEA this couple deserves.

Great quick read. Ellie Masters has a new series and already the first book is lusciously hot! Snowed in with the Mountain Doctor has a trauma surgeon looking for some down time only to stumble into a rural emergency clinic and a smoking hot ER doctor. Their relationship doesn’t seem like it will work, but ends up making the pages shoulder in your grip as you read. 5 stars all the way.

This is my first book by Ellie Masters and it was so good!
Doctor Cole Blake was so steamy and dreamy and... dirty. I really enjoyed the power exchange. She just let herself feel safe and trusted him wholeheartedly. It was fantastic.
It was very well written, which is something I really critique for. But the story/plot and the characters really kept me enticed. I can't wait for the next book!

ARC review. Snowed in with the Mountain Doctor is the first in Ellie Masters’ new series Angel’s Peak. Ellie Masters is one of my favorite authors and Tess and Cole’s story doesn’t disappoint. Tess struggles with what is important in both her personal and professional life after a chance encounter with Cole during a blizzard. I love how their story unfolds as they look for their HEA.

In an attempt to escape the pressures of her life for a weekend, Tess ends up at the beginning of the rest of her life with Cole. Their mutual respect for each other and willingness to take a chance, even though the circumstances are not easy, make this a wonderful book.

Wow this is a real change of pace from Ellie Masters, I feel like I've gone full circle from my first read of Ellie's, Heart's Desire (yes I totally read Angel Fire series in the wrong order), a heart stopping military/rockstar romance through the edge of your seat guardian series and now back to pure panty melting, steamy, romance. Did I love it? Absolutely, in fact I devoured it, I didn't want it to end and when I did get to the end, I was screaming for more. Luckily I have a habit of keep turning the pages at the end and found the epilogue, which massively helped.
Trauma surgeon Dr Tess Carrington is taking a short break in the mountains but snow means she seeks refuge in a medical clinic where she meets the charismatic Dr Cole Blake. There's no two ways about this, that steamy chemistry is boiling from the start. But, Tess is about to get the promotion she has worked so hard to get and Cole has no desires to go back to the hectic life of large town hospital doctors. The dom/sub theme was beautifully portrayed and I loved how open Cole and Tess were with each other. This first book is the perfect start to the new Angel's Peak series.

I read this story through in one evening and I already have high expectations for this new series! These two characters are specialty doctors but their clinical conversations did not go over my head leaving me clueless. The writing had me in the present; the clinic details, the private room at the lodge with the massive stone fireplace, the view from her apartment in Denver, to name a few. I loved Tess and Cole’s personalities. Both smart but not arrogant. Both attractive but not egotistic. Cole was commanding but not demanding. Tess was compliant but not weak. This story falls under second chances, which I love. It’s also a great example of open communications and to make decisions together by putting all the cards on the table! Thoroughly enjoyed and am anxiously awaiting book two!

When Tess, a trauma surgeon passing through town in a blizzard had to stop, she meets local Doctor Cole Blake at the medical centre.
Tess is an ambitious doctor who had big decisions to make when she meets Cole who is about to change her life and challenge her in lots of ways. I really liked these two. Cole was all dominant, and controlling but only in the bedroom, otherwise he wanted her. They had a rare dynamic that increased as they went along.
Well written and a pleasure to read. Both characters were changing and growing with each other and that made it a compelling story. Very well done.

Tess and Cole are both doctors who have taken different career paths. Tess is headed away on vacation and finds Cole at the small-town clinic. This is a quick and entertaining low angst HEA. I really enjoyed reading a lighter story by this author as I have loved her more suspenseful reads. One thing is for sure her MMC always know how to take control and give their women exactly what they need to unlock the best spice! These two characters both have worked hard to get the positions they have but they need to figure out what the top priority is, love or career. If they are lucky, they can have both!

A serendipitous snow storm causes Dr. Tess Carrington to slip and slide on the road to Angel Peak and ultimately introduces her to the tall, handsome ER doctor, Cole Blake. What a great start to Ellie Masters' newest series, Angel Peak. It's a bit of a change of pace with its edgy, BDSM leaning romance and I loved it. Ms. Masters definitely knows how to turn up the heat. It's apparent from the outset that the attraction is there but professional and personal entanglements must be sorted out by Tess and Cole in order for them to get their HEA. Never fear....it all works out!!

Dr Tess Carrington had chance to escape her duties at busy Denver hospital and was escaping to friends cabin in Angel's Peak...but the weather turned deadly and saw a small clinic where she could get out of the storm...meeting Cole, the on-call doctor at clinic. they fell into an instant connection, love at first sight, with the storm keeping them together until the roads could be cleared...but is a weekend a long enough time to make Tess rethink her future??? You will need to read this cute "escape" book to see what happens...I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.

An enjoyable quick read about two doctors currently on totally different career paths with an attraction hard to deny. Cole has already left the hustle and bustle world behind, completely content in a rural setting, but Tess is still climbing the ladder. I love how, despite the career differences, these two are devoted to making it work... but maybe traversing that path isn't as tricky as they think as fate places them in the perfect positions. Definitely a high spice read if that is a factor for your books, with a HEA ending.

Tess is a gifted trauma surgeon in Denver on her way to a mountain retreat in order to destress from her demanding job. She gets caught in a blizzard, almost wrecks, and sees a light and heads toward it. Cole is a doctor in a clinic in the mountains serving a small population, but once worked in a large hospital in Chicago. Attraction hits quickly and deeply. Cole is a sexual dominant and recognizes Tess as a potential submissive. There is some mild BDSM later in the book. Mostly concerns how to work out a long distance romance. Really good novella.

Well this is not the usual kind of story I expected from this author. If the readers are into kinky sex, then this is your book! Many people will love this story. I personally don't like this subject because I don't like bondage, men getting off on inflicting pain and humiliation. To me that's sick. I know my review won't be published because my review is not a good one I know that only positive reviews are wanted just to sell a book. Maybe an authors note about kinky relations is in order..

This one is steamy and different from the Guardian series as this is more of a contemporary romance but with a dark shade of BDSM thrown in the mix - with cuffs and crops. Certainly not a kink I would enjoy. I think I'm more of a pleasure Dom type of reader - not something where you call your partner sir and are kneeling for him. The story itself was good. Almost a second chance romance that is quick and easily read in an evening.

A very powerful short story about thinking you have everything you want but coming face to fade with what you need. Cole and Tess's journey is laid out beautifully, compact, and full of great communication, life adventures and dark steam. So, so good

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Both of the main characters are doctors with stressful careers especially Tess who is a trauma surgeon. Cole is the ER doctor in the town of Angel Falls. What started as a 2 day respite for Tess turns into more but her life is 3-4 hours away from Angel Falls. She’s worked hard for years to become the Department Head. Yet Cole easily fits into her world. I look forward to reading more books by Ms Masters.

Tess and Cole’s story is a little darker than I’ve read before from Ellie. It’s a love story with a little darker side of BDSM. Both are doctors trying to make the right career choices that will give them the balance in life they are looking for. It’s a great read how these two find their footing together to build a real rewarding relationship. Great start to this new series.

This is one steamy story and very different to most of Ellie Master’s other books, but it is very good and especially if BDSM interests you. A sweet, insta love, love at first sight story about two doctors who meet in a snowstorm. Ambition, compromise, success and a different approach to them makes for a lovely story.

Hot, hot, hot hot, hot!!! Super sexy and a little dark. This beautiful story about two doctors, him a country doctor and her a big city doctor who have an instant and beautiful connection which is awesome!! Their chemistry is amazing and touching and just plain beautiful!! I totally recommend reading this book!!

Ok medical romantic novella. Although I enjoyed this story of Tess, who becomes stranded in a snowstorm & hunky local doctor, Cole who helps her I did find the dom/sub aspect of the story a bit uncomfortable. It was quite hard to believe that a confident trauma doctor like Tess would suddenly relish giving up control to a man. An ok read however.
