Probably the best book written for this series, it brings context to many questions and events that were captured in the other books. It’s quite literally the missing puzzle piece .

This was hands down the best book of this series! The ending was one of the best books I've read in this genre. The poetry of the song lyrics was beyond emotional after reading what Haymitch and all the tributes endured in the arena and the capital as well as back in their own districts. It filled in the gap from when Snow was a tribute himself to when he became a ruthless president and explained where Haymitch himself fit into all of this along with his love.

This was an outstanding book!

Highly recommended! 👍

This book was absolutely amazing, I loved the insight into Haymitch’s games and Leonore Dove and Maysilee Donner were interesting characters!!
