Abiding: Meditating Through Psalm 91
When life has me spinning, I like to grab a word from the book of Psalms. Like a sugar wafer, the Psalms give me a quick pickup of energy, restoring what the chaos of the day depletes. But have you considered camping out in a Psalm, meditating on it, verse by verse, line by line? That’s what I’ve attempted to do with Psalm 91. I’d love to share my thoughts with you. More importantly, allow the Lord to share His thoughts with you. Allow yourself to sit on a verse as the Lord spills His heart into yours. Let the minutes turn into hours and hours into days. The time you spend soaking in the Word will never be wasted. So go ahead and grab yourself a cup of coffee and find your favorite spot to sit and soak. I can’t wait for you to get started!
