Emily Ann Truse had resigned herself to the fact that she was nothing more than a sparkled-up, coffee and smut addicted, massively ADHD, slightly OCD, and moderately GAD, walking example of Murphy's law . . . at least that's how it had felt the last few years.

She guessed that sitting on the side of the interstate at age twenty-eight with a broken down RV, no upcoming job placement, a dead mom, and a love life that only consisted of her favorite hot pink battery powered boyfriend was the equivalent of a worst-case scenario, and then promptly cursed herself the moment the thought crossed her mind. She might as well have been sitting on the unit with the other nurses and said the dreaded Q word . . . if only the universe would throw some good luck her way.

But no amount of good luck coud save her from the spiral that was running straight into the one man she never could got. Except this time, when she wants nothing more than to punch stupid Ford Edward Thomas in his stupidly beautiful face, Ford decides he wants nothing more than everything she is.

First of all, I was SO blessed to receive this book as an ARC! I feel so lucky! Thank you Hannah. 💗💗

The ADHD rep in this book is so phenomenal. You really feel a lot of relatability with the FMC, whether you personally struggle with it or not.
I will say the original break up ordeal did piss me off until the last quarter of the book… but I think that may have been part of the point 😆 I really enjoyed watching all the the backstory and character development unfold.

Sometimes the pacing did feel a little rocky, but nothing enough to take away from the story.

I will be reading anything Hannah Till writes, and hope to be selected as an ARC reader for any future books!! Can’t wait to follow her journey as an amazing storyteller!

Devoured!! Finished in a day and a 1/2. Couldn’t not stop! Holy hell this story! From the first line (deeply appreciated the node to Pride and Prejudice there 😉) I was hooked.

I am really beginning to love second chance romances. The history and the way the characters know one another. The back and forth between the timelines …🥰.

This hit my heart deeply! It bewitched me, body and soul lol. It tugged at my heart, made me feel all the things. It had me in a def chokehold.

Emily is chaotic and messy and is prob a perfect picture of just about every women in their late twenties who is just trying to juggle it all. Add on her ADHD and the fact that she’s not really copes with her mothers death, or the events after, with Ford. Her being in love with him for so long was 😘😘. And the way that she interpreted everything he did in the wrong way lol! I loved how they started a friendship and became each others person 🦞(he’s her lobster).

Ford, yup, I’m hooked! A tortured soul with a hard past who constantly wants to please others!! He broke my heart! I loved how he was pining away for so long. He’s confession, ugh!!!! I was dead ☠️!! He was so torn and as much I wanted him to make the right decision I totally understood it! I loved that he did all the things a year ago!!!! I mean …❤️

Did I mention I couldn’t put this one down! Literally, I was reading and walking. Reading and cooking. I needed to know everything!

The house!!!! Omg, Hannah Till what are you doing to me!!

Loved the writing, adored the references to Jane Austen and Pride and Prejudice!! When Ford recited the lines …🥵🥵

This will, no doubts about it, not be the last Hannah Till book I read. I’m hooked!!

Title: Chaos & Calamity

Author: Hannah Till

Review: I don’t think I’ve ever read a second chance romance before and boy was I surprised! It made me feel all the feels! It was funny, it was sad, and it made me happy! The chemistry between the two main characters was perfect! There wasn’t a boring or dull moment! I could keep reading about these characters until they were old and I would still find them entertaining to read about! This book was very addicting and i didn’t want the story to end!

I didn’t think I was going to like this book. It seemed like just another mushy rom com novel. It was odd that I had chosen to read an ARC for a storyline like this one.

I was totally wrong.

To say I loved it is an understatement. This book gave me all the feels. I laughed with it. I smiled. I cried. Lord did I cry. Cancer is a theme in this book and two of my relatives were just diagnosed so it punched me right in the pearls. I digress. Laughed, smiled, cried, raged right along with our FMC Emily aka Chaos.

I loved everything about her. A healthcare professional who is a hazard to herself and her life is a mess? You don’t say?! Kinda sounds familiar 🤓 (she is me. I am her.)

Ford, our MMC, who is the golden retriever male who is a complete idiot when it comes to her but is also her person, her best fucking friend and ultimately the one who broke her heart.

Their journey was wonderful to partake in. Magnets who were dead set on running the opposite way from each other, finding all the WRONG reasons why it shouldn’t/wouldn’t work between them. But in the end, you just can’t keep them from colliding back to each other, can you? Magnetic force and all that, am I right? That’s what this was. It was lovely, it was heartfelt, it was delightful.

On another note, the spice was just the right amount and strategically placed in the book. Spice was 2.5/5 but not in a bad way at all. You got the right amount and it was well written.

Go read it and watch the movie unfold in your head. It’s a movie I hope to watch (read) again and again.

OH MY GOSH!!! Listen, if Hannah Till has no fans, then I’m 💀.

This book spoke to me in so many ways!! I love everything about the character growth, the story progression, just EVERYTHING! Emily is so relatable in so many ways and Ford is everything we ALL want in a book boyfriend! Seriously, Hannah knocked this one out of the park! You can really tell that she put her heart and soul into this work!

She is the chaos he loves and crave, he is the calm she needs.

This book is so good and I damn cried 🥺🥺🥺.
I was lucky to be an ARC reader and damn...

First, as a neurospicy person, I appreciate to read a book about another neurospicy woman that is actually portrayed realistically and not using men's standard.
All the insecurity, the chaos, the panic and anxiety, everything.

I got so involved in their lives, wanting the best for both of them. And by the end of the book I was crying, happy crying and relieved. 😭

Shout-out to Becca because she is an amazing friend for the MC Emily. And to Sheila Cuz that character rocks.

Honestly, if you love second chance, wants to see some accurate representation of adhd in women, and want to see a beautiful story, read this one. ❤️🙏

Quick Review:

⭐️ 5/5 stars – No notes. I laughed, I cried, I blushed so hard I had to put the book down. It’s messy and hot and so real, like it somehow knew exactly what my brain needed and delivered it with spice.

🌶️ 4/5 Spice Rating – This book is soft until it’s not (that’s what she said) once Ford opens his mouth—and then it’s open-door, dirty talk, and Dom energy galore. The heat is explicit, emotional, and absolutely worth short-circuiting over.

🖤 1/5 Darkness Rating – While not a dark romance, this one does touch on grief, mentions of domestic violence, and has explicit open-door spice. It’s definitely for adult readers, with neurodivergent rep, strong language, and some heavy moments woven in.

What I Loved:

He’s just a filthy-mouthed Dom Daddy named Ford who said “good girl” once and short-circuited my brain. This book masquerades as a sweet, second-chance romance—until the spice hits like a freight train and suddenly you’re finishing it on your knees too. But beyond the unholy levels of heat, it’s is a love letter to messy, neurodivergent women. Emily’s chaos isn’t a quirky punchline—it’s raw, real, and deeply relatable. Watching her get a love story without needing to “fix” herself? Be still my heart. It’s funny, feral, vulnerable, and validating all at once.

The Story (No Spoilers!):

So Emily’s a hot mess (in the best way), a travel nurse with ADHD, a dead phone, and one seriously cursed week. She ends up back in her hometown, jobless, RV broken down… and who shows up? Yep. Him. Ford freaking Thomas—her brother’s best friend, the heartbreak she never quite got over. Cue tension, sass, unresolved feelings, and so much spice. It’s messy, emotional, hilarious, and full of “oh no I still want to kiss you” moments. Basically, it’s about a girl who’s done pretending to be less chaotic to deserve love—and a guy who never stopped seeing her magic.

Final thoughts:

Okay but wow. I went in expecting small-town second-chance feels and came out feral, emotionally wrecked, and honestly? Deeply seen. Emily’s chaos felt like reading my own brain on a good day and during a full meltdown—and watching her get a love story without having to tone it down? Ugh. Everything. And Ford? He opens his mouth and suddenly we’re not in Hallmark-land anymore, we’re in “I need a cold shower and a therapist” territory. It’s filthy and funny and full of heart, and somehow makes space for softness, rage, healing, and orgasms all at once. Basically, Hannah Till wrote a love story for the neurospicy girlies, and I will be yelling about it forever.

3.5/5 ⭐️

Thank you Hannah Till for an eARC of Chaos & Calamity. This is my full, honest, spoiler free review.

I want to start by saying I love the mental health representation displayed in this book. Even though we’ve made progress in society, there are still stigmas regarding mental health, especially those surrounding ADHD/ADD. So it was nice to see it incorporated into a book where the struggles are accurately shown, they discuss the importance of it, and how to keep it manageable.

Now, for the characters. When it comes to Emily, I like her spunky attitude and humor. Even when there are so tough conversations, she tries to bring light into them when she can. The one thing I’m not particularly fond of, but is a very real thing people do (especially after something tragic) is that she’s a runner. I can’t say too much on that without spoilers, so you’ll have to see what I mean for yourself. Now that being said, just because I am not fond of it, doesn’t mean I don’t understand why she fled. I understand her need for change and a new normalcy. Then when it comes to Ford, I also have some mixed emotions. Again, I understand his past affected how he was overall, just doesn’t mean I like it. Ford has a very back and forth/on again off again set of emotions. There are times throughout this book I wanted to throttle him. Then there were times I loved how we was with Emily. It’s a 50/50 for me.

For the storyline, it was good. I however felt it could have flowed a little better. We have dual timelines in this book, the past and the present. These timelines jump back and forth every chapter. To me, some of the past could have been looped together or placed before certain ‘present’ times to flow better. I get that the author wanted a sense of mystery about what had happened, but it made to rather hard to connect to these characters in my opinion. On that same note, we see everything that happened in the past, making you question their love. So, when the HEA occurs, I felt rather lost and confused. Again, it is in my opinion, that the conversations and actions of the ‘present’ did not make up for what happened in the past. Nor did the actions make me see why there was forgiveness when no deep and profound conversations were had.

Overall, I think the bones of this book were good; the execution could use some tweaking. Also, I, personally, did not connect or fall in love with the characters. So it made it difficult to really invest my emotions and love into this book. Please remember this is all my opinion and you could feel entirely different.

⭐️⭐️⭐️️⭐️/ ️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Hannah Till has written an amazing book and beautifully ties in two timelines that provides a wonderful story between our MCs. Each story that I read of Hannah’s I am reminded of the self healing she has gone through and how it parallels my own healing journey. Hannah never hides parts of herself in her books and in Chaos and Calamity, she brings a wonderful representation of ADHD and neurodivergency that is written with care and grace that only someone who confronts on a daily basis can do. Along with the inspiration from Pride and Prejudice, Hannah has knocked it out of the park with this book.

Emily is a FMC that you cannot help but love. Yes she is all over the place and organized chaos rules her, but she is loveable, full of life, and energetic. Her ADHD adds a little to the messiness that is present in her life, but she is so much more. Being in love with her brother’s best friend for so long created a lot of history between them and so many opportunities were missed earlier in their lives. She is trying to find her way through life, determining her place and purpose, but just can't get it together. I loved watching her grow into self acceptance, self love, and letting someone else love her for everything that is already is.

Ford is the MMC you immediately know is misunderstood. His past with Emily does come into play, but when they reconnect, she is it for him. The protectiveness he has for Emily leaps off the pages in abundance and he has me swoony over and over again. I loved watching him open up to Emily, accept her for where she is at in life and help her see her full potential. The second chance these two are given brought a smile to my face and flooded my heart with positive emotions.

Hannah writes human relationships with such honesty, sincerity, and love that you know she writes from the heart. I truly believe that she puts a piece of herself in everything she writes. Her characters are full of emotion, complexities, and layers that never stop. I will always recommend anything she writes! Her stories bring me joy, happiness, and the reminder to find the beauty in the chaos. A wonderful novel that I think everyone should read!

As always, review any author notes before reading.

Chaos & Calamity by Hannah Till was a solid 4 star read. I was super excited to read this book because 1) Hannah is a speech language pathologist and so am I…she likes the adults though and more power to her for that, 2) it’s Pride & Prejudice adjacent. I will be honest though, beyond the references to the movie and book, I didn’t see many parallels. I’m not sure if Emily was supposed to be Lizzie or Jane while Ford was Darcy or Bingley. Ford was grumpy, so I’m assuming Darcy. With that said, I definitely felt that Emily could be paralleled with Jane because Ford’s mom didn’t think she was a good fit for her son re: Caroline and Darcy thinking Jane wasn’t good for Bingley. Although, Emily and Ford spent a lot of time disliking each other, like Lizzie and Darcy.

With that preface, it didn’t matter. It was a fun read without P&P being thrown in there. There was fantastic character development, tension, and then some surprising spice. Definitely didn’t expect Ford to be so…commanding? It absolutely made my jaw drop when it popped up. The characters and their struggles felt realistically complicated with adequate time for their redemption arcs to play out.

Emily and Ford grew up together. Emily is learning how to manage her ADHD, her life, and her feelings after the passing of her mom. Ford is trying to make his mom happy, while also trying to stay true to himself. They’re equally messy and equally troubled. Through multiple timeline shifts and the perspectives of both characters, you see their chaos and calamity shape their love…or is it their hate?

Trigger Warnings: cancer, death of a parent, talk of domestic violence, spice with a “master.”

I gotta be honest here…. I’m truly at a loss for words and I don’t know if anything I write can express how much I enjoyed this.

I am not diagnosed with ADHD, but I am an early childhood educator and have worked with many youth ranging in all ages who have been diagnosed with ADHD and so while I do have the educational knowledge of adhd, I of course don’t have the personal experience of living with it so it was interesting to read Emily’s point of view.

With that being said…. do I have adhd??? Because I related SO incredibly well to Emily. The way her brain worked, the way her body and brained connected (and disconnected at times), the feelings, the thoughts, everything! (Seriously, as a neurotypical person, I’m starting to think I’m not quite as neurotypical as I believed??)

The writing in this book was astounding, and maybe that’s a contributor to me feeling everything that Emily had felt. The author wrote this in a way where it just felt so real, I truly feel as though Emily is a part of who I am.

The storyline was strong, consistent and never failed to keep me amused and engaged. This is the second ARC read I have rated 5 stars (out of a whole lot of arc reads… I don’t give out 5 stars to just any book either) so that just goes to show how much of an impact it had to me as a reader!

I did receive this as an ARC but all reviews and thoughts expressed are my own. I genuinely enjoyed this book and I am definitely adding Hannah Till as an insta-buy author!!

I appreciate the addition of neurodivergence and showing more of a true depiction of them, rather than the stereotypical view we see in most books. This was a nice take on the enemies to lovers, brothers best friend, childhood friend tropes, encompassing them into a sweet romance book. The build up of tension finally has a break through that every reader truly craves.

Emily truly cannot catch a break. She loves her job as a traveling nurse but messes up one too many times and is released early from her contract. Not knowing how to spend the extra time until her next assignment, she decides to go home and see her family, something she hasn’t done in far too long. As she’s headed home, she sadly runs into issues with her vehicle and has to be rescued by her brother. He just so happens to bring along his best friend, the childhood crush/enemy Ford. The flame is small but is definitely ignited upon the reunion and Emily tries her best to steer as far from Ford as possible.

While I appreciated the history of the two being brought to light, it was difficult to switch back and forth every chapter between the past and present. A brief synopsis of history during the chapters after they were mentioned would have kept the confusion to a minimum instead of giving the past its own chapter. Overall, a very sweet book that has a touch of spice but not overpowering.

I received this as an ARC and I am SO glad I did! This could definitely go through another round of edits before it hits print but I enjoyed the story beginning to end. I blazed through it. I recall chapter 14 doing something to my emotions. I have book amnesia and can/will forget details almost immediately but I base my ratings on how I felt while reading.

Emily: she reminds me of my husband. Stuck 4 topics behind with a “what?” Smattered somewhere in a conversation after everyone else has moved on. She’s a bit bruised and battered emotionally from Ford whiplash, grief, and living a regular life with so many details. Adulting is hard.

Ford: I could wring his neck. He needed to grovel. A lot. He had shit to get through but that was not how to do it…but at least he was remorseful. He needed to suffer a little more at Emily’s hands.

The spice: I’d have liked to see Emily be in control. She should have been calling the shots more. Again, I wanted Ford to grovel more. I understand Ford’s desire to be in control but don’t make my girl Emily beg. Her heart has been toyed with for too long.

Overall, I enjoyed this book thoroughly. I’m incredibly proud of Hannah Till for authoring this while working in healthcare. I’d be happy to read anything Hannah publishes in the future.

3/5 🌶️

I finished this book a couple of days ago and honestly I am still just sitting here at a loss for words with this one. I knew this book was gonna hit me hard, but wow it hit in the absolute best way. I would give this book all the stars in the world.

I loved everything about this book. I could feel every single emotion as If I were the characters and as if it were actually happening. It is so easy to tell Hannah put her complete heart and soul into this book and honestly I can without a doubt say it is one of the best books I have ever read.

This book was chaotic, raw and messy but also so real you can’t help but love it. Emily’s character so so perfectly written it made me feel seen in a way I have never felt seen before. At one point I just lost track of the amount of times I cried, but despite all the tears this book brought me so much joy and I will carry a piece of this book in my heart forever. Also there isn’t too much spice, but the moment that man opens his mouth? Holy sh*t I am immediately a puddle on the floor.

Thank you Hannah for this early copy and also for representing us neurodivergent girlies!

Oh what to say…

As someone who has unofficially been diagnosed with ADHD I felt like this book was relatable and the Author did such an amazing job with displaying how someone with ADHD has such chaotic thoughts and feeling and it just felt …. So inclusive and comfortable.

The layout of the storyline reminds me of the musical, “The Last Five Years” and I loved the back and forth between back then to where we are now it gives the characters a depth that might be unattainable when trying to depict a past in just a chapter or two.

The story shifts back and forth between Emily and Ford and I love the different POV

Chaos and Calamity is so much more than a romance novel, its cover indicates a light and fluffy read and the complexity within the storyline had me feeling every emotion from happiness to heartache.

The author did an amazing job captivating me as a reader and I look forward to whatever comes next…. Hopefully a part 2 …

This book was a love letter to my southern neurodivergent heart. I cannot tell you how much it meant to see myself so clearly represented in this character. Emily is chaotic and messy, but absolutely worthy of taking up her space and being exactly who she is. Her journey had me laughing, crying, and swearing right along with her. From feeling like an outsider in her own life, to growing to accept her neurospiciness for the beautiful chaotic whirlwind it is, I could relate and appreciate her character throughout and her development was great. Ford’s character is realistic and swoon worthy, especially once he cranks up the heat and begins making demands. The pictures painted with the setting of the story were enchanting and I felt like I was transported for the whole book. Overall, this spicy, second chance, enemies to lovers, brother’s best friend romance checks all of the boxes and is worth a read… and a re-read.

--ARC Review--

Stars: 4.5/5
Spice: 1/5

Emily was such a relatable main character; her realistic brand of chaos made it easy to connect with her from the start. The ADHD representation was handled with care and added depth to her personality in a way that felt both natural and meaningful. Ford and Emily balanced each other beautifully, and his dedication to making things right was refreshing. I appreciated that the book didn’t shy away from addressing their shared past; instead, it allowed them to confront it and grow together, which felt far more satisfying than starting fresh without explanation. Although the frequent time jumps were a bit jarring at first, they ultimately helped flesh out the backstory in a satisfying way. The only downside was Emily’s brother, whose hostility felt misplaced, especially during a time when support was what they needed most.

-Second Chance
-”It’s Always Been You”
-Brother’s Best Friend

This was such a sweet read, I gave it a 4.5 on Fable! One thing I really appreciated was how the characters held each other accountable. So often in books, when a character has irrational or upsetting thoughts, it's brushed off and forgotten. But here, other characters actually call them out, and I loved that.

While there were quite a few grammatical errors, they didn’t take away from my understanding or enjoyment of the story.

I especially loved the slow burn and the tension between Ford and Emily..the longing between them was palpable! The story felt incredibly relatable in so many ways, and the characters were written with a depth that made them feel real.

The subplot involving cancer hit especially close to home for me, as I’ve had a family member go through it. Those moments were emotional and genuine, and I actually teared up.
All in all, this was an amazing read!! Thank you Hannah for allowing me to read this ARC.

I love a well-written book with a neurospicy FMC. Add in a MMC who doesn’t just tolerate her quirks but adores her because of them...yeah, that’s catnip for me...and that’s exactly what you’ll find in Chaos and Calamity.

This is a friends-to-enemies-to-lovers romance that packs a punch. Once upon a time, they were everything to each other…until life flipped the table, choices were made, and they ran in opposite directions. But fate (or maybe just chaos doing what chaos does best) throws them back together, and that’s when the real magic begins.

I laughed. I cried. I screamed. Basically, Hannah Till put me through it. In just under350 pages, this story gave me every emotional beat I crave; second chances, heartache, healing, and that chaotic, all-consuming love that feels impossible to look away from.

If you love messy, beautifully human characters who make you feel all the things, add this to your TBR immediately.

I honestly give this a 4.5 but Goodreads won't allow half numbers. Having said that I really enjoyed this book. The writing in this one was particularly good. It was more relatable for me and I enjoyed several phrases that really hit home.

"But my journey was always peppered with a thousand and one detours, side quests I couldn't resist exploring, while everyone else sailed smoothly down the main road." Relatable !
There are many more moments that I stopped to highlight a section.

The only reason that it didn't get a five was the character shift that happened to Ford during every explicit scene. I just thought his personality drastically changed when he was intimate with Emily. He seems to speak with love when he was in dialogue with her but then shifted to control freak in the sex scenes. I guess some people like that kind of intimacy and clearly our MC did.

Overall, it was a quick enjoyable love story with the childhood friends trope. Well Done!

I *really* enjoyed this book. This is a childhood sweethearts second chance novel and I most definitely have a soft spot for these books. They bring the angst in a big way.
There was a lot about the main character Emily that I could relate to personally. We experience the reality of life for a woman with a late diagnosis of ADHD who struggles with feelings of inferiority. She actively avoids conflict and difficult conversations which means she runs.

In this book you’ll get an rv called Ramona, a crustacean catastrophe, some serious Pride and Prejudice fangirling, unique nicknames (Mr Three First Names and Chaos) and complex family relationships. This older brother’s best friend story is an open door book that doesn’t let the spice override the story. Some of the topics are heavy so please check the triggers…but this book is a great read and I highly recommend it.

“I'd spent the last twenty-eight years carefully running away from every perceivable hell thinking running would help when in reality, all running ever did was tear me apart.”

Chaos and Calamity is an absolutely amazing contemporary romance full of ADHD/mental health rep, laugh out loud writing and a swoon worthy love story. Emily, the FMC, is someone that I see so much of myself within - seeing her chaos made me feel like I was reading about another version of myself. I loved the dual timeline of the story that allowed us to see all of the good and bad the history between Emily and Ford while also seeing their reunion in the present day. This is the epitome of a spicy second chance romance and the ending was absolutely amazing. It had me kicking my feet from excitement!

Chaos and Calamity is about Emily and Ford as their lives reconnect in ways neither expected. Forced to return to her hometown, Emily is a mess. She’s grieving her mother, finding herself again, and nervous for her future. Ford just got divorced from a loveless marriage and is planning to move to the mountains. Both are locked in a feud following the events of two years ago. Can they find their way back to each other?

I loved this read. It’s heartwarming, it’s steamy at times, it’s beautiful, there’s so many lovely quotes, and the characters are unfailingly relatable and lovable. I love the ADHD representation in this and how commonplace it is for Ford to be aware of such minute things about Emily. It’s certainly a story worth reading!

I binged the whole book on a flight from London to LA!

As someone with ADHD, this book made me feel so seen! The way they Emily describes some other life and struggles, especially the time before she was undiagnosed, really hit home for me. It was as if I was reading my own childhood and young adult life through the pages.

The story between Emily and Mark was wonderful. I personally struggle with a lot for guilt when it comes to my chaos and how it affects my partner, but reading bits of Ford’s point of view made me so happy.
It’s not the chaos that defines the person, and it’s a lesson both Emily and I needed to learn.

Loved the book!

This book was so amazing. Like SO AMAZING. I feel in love with Emily and Ford right from the get go. The story goes back and forth between past and present and their history. Emily is a nurse with ADHD and some undealt with grief and trauma. Ford is doctor, her brothers best friend and neighbor growing up. You laugh, you cry, there is grief, trauma, mental health rep, oh the banter and love. I found myself laughing out loud! Like straight up crying laughing. It was epic. There was spice which was good too!! I ended the book and felt good. Like still on a happy high. I can't say how much I loved this book. There are not enough words. Thank you

A second chance romance where the timing is right and two people finally see and accept each other…but the road to get there is rocky and bumpy. Told on dual PoV with a dual timeline, Emily returns to her hometown and runs into her old flame, Ford.
I loved getting to know their backstory through flashbacks just as much as I loved rooting for their current HEA. I loved that *both* characters were flawed in some way, and *both* were hesitant to give in to love even when they knew they were always meant to be…true chaos and calamity. This was a refreshing rom-com with an honest, slow burn, and somewhat spicy romance. 4.25 stars

Thank you to Hannah Till for the ARC! I really appreciated this opportunity and am leaving this review honestly.

This is such a sweet love story! Ford and Emily have been in love since they were teens. Told in-between current day and past, a story is gradually unfurled to reveal lots of laughter, tears and heartbreak. I enjoyed the ADHD and mental health reps, I loved that it showed more than just Emily being "quirky" or hyperactive like I feel it is usually portrayed in media.

If you like second chance romance, found family and slow burn (no real spice until ~75%), this is a great book to pickup!

Chaos & Calamity is OUT NOW, and it is exactly what my neuro-spicy heart needed!

If you have ever felt the frustration and overwhelm of an adult ADHD diagnosis, then you will relate to and see yourself through Emily just like I did. This dual-pov story is full of heartache, mental health rep, and that enduring promise that we all have the potential to love and be loved in return. With just the right combination of sass, trauma, and spice, Chaos & Calamity is a 5 🌟 read for me, and I highly recommend it!

Emily is chaotic and messy, yet worthy of taking up space and being exactly who she is meant to be. Ford’s character is depicted with such realism and charm that he is undeniably swoon-worthy. The setting of the story is painted with such vivid imagery that I felt as though I was transported to another place entirely. This spicy, second chance, enemies-to-lovers, brother’s best friend romance checks all the boxes. This book is worth picking up for anyone looking for a heartfelt and enchanting story.

a must for adhd rep

so many amazing passages about adhd, and the thoughts and feelings and chaos.

i love their love i love the journey of self integration.

love the best friendship and it being and example of true friendship.
things that held me back from 5 stars were the paragraphs between lines of banter i literally just skipped them, the authors banter speaks for itself.

and the lack of interaction between fmc and her dad.

more of there kinda of relationship these kinds of charicters this kind of representation
