The fine print said 'business only...' Shame no one told my heart about the contract terms.
You know those nightmares where you’re publicly humiliated and can’t escape? That’s my reality at my first SoHo gallery showing.
I start off the night by mistaking Gideon King, billionaire art collector, for catering staff. (Though to be fair, how was I supposed to know that the tall, gorgeous man in the corner wasn’t there to help with the champagne trays??)
And just when I think I might recover from that mortification, I accidentally spill champagne all over his immaculate designer suit. In front of the entire art world. While he’s looking at MY paintings.
I’m ready to flee the country and take up goat farming when the unthinkable happens. After everyone leaves, he returns. One drink turns into one unforgettable night. And then he’s gone from my life.
Until he reappears with a shocking proposal. His company faces a hostile takeover, and apparently I’m his perfect paper bride. The contract outlines lump sum payment upon completion, separate bedrooms, convincing public appearances, and absolutely no emotional involvement.
As I consider his offer, I have to
Is this strictly business or something more? And why, despite my better judgment, am I saying yes?
3.5 - 3.75 ⭐️ it was way better than I thought it would be, it wasn’t cheesy!! Ava, is one hell of an FMC, I loved how the author wrote her. She wasn’t made to be small. She was smart, held her own, and fought for what she wanted and stayed level headed throughout.
Gideon wasn’t a bad MMC either, he was a little dry but other than that, he had character growth too, which I appreciated.
Instant chemistry Billionaire businessman Struggling artist Marriage of convenience No feelings clause Feelings definitely evolved for both MCs No cheating Short third act break up HEA
This was such a good book. I loved the FMC and the fact that she was an artist. The MMC was swoon worthy. It was the perfect “fake marriage” book that had lots of tension, misunderstandings, denial of feelings and spice. The journey of the characters had me entertained.
Was it just me or did this book just dredge on and on and on. I could so easily step back from it that it grew painful in the last few chapters to finish.
It is a decent book, but the first half was incessant and irritating as it kept referring to the contract in the same way, something like “article seven category 3” LIKE OKAY WE GET IT UVE REFERENCED IT SIX TIMES ALRDY.
Also there is only some much “(s)he momentarily looked stricken before covering it”. Im like fuck pls communicate bc yall alrdy know what each other r feeling.
stupid.
also barely interacted w other characters. ehy shud i read the next book? we just barely got to connect with the friend. idk.
dry read but not awful.

This is my first book I have read by Catto, and it was really good and enjoyable. I sat and read then entire book while the weather outside was cold and windy, and this romance read was on FIRE. The romance between Gideon and Ava is a page turner and the storyline was interesting and kept me hooked. I am excited to read more upcoming books by Catto.
I really enjoyed this journey with Gidion and Ava. Love delivers a smooth flowing storyline that follows billionaire Gidion who falls hopelessly in love with art grad Ava. Both of these characters have some deep wounds that keep protecting their hearts a high priority but they both find themselves needing the other. Initially to keep their business and dreams a reality but along the way the feelings they've both tried to protect themselves from rear in a strong and undeniable way. Overall, this book was well written, although my copy is an ARC and there were some inconsistencies especially towards the end but small, trivial things that didn't really distract from the overall story. I am very much looking forward to another read by Love as this was a fun, steamy fake to real romance.

so repetitive, SO SO SO SO REPETITIVE! same lines, same song and dance, deja vu every chapter. not exaggerating!
the plot never really advances... 1 step forward and 1 step back
this book could've been an e-mail honestly, no need to be 400 pages long
Ava is annoying, unfunny, and the author is trying to make her good at everything... "art student who's smarter at business than people with a business degree despite never seeing it ever before!"
very boring! and long which makes for an unproductive use of time...
Ava goes from one hot mess right into another and captures the attention of Gideon Knight. It leads to a memorable night together and then he's gone only to reappear with a proposition of a fake wedding that will solve both of their problems. But when their paper marriage begins to feel like something more will Ava lose her heart to Gideon. This charming story kept me all caught up in these two.

Ava was special. An artist! At the Gallery showing Ava miss takes Gideon for a waiter and approaches him about setting up tables for Champagne where her art is displayed. Him being a Billionaire she spills champagne all over him. People who know him are aghast. He leaves and comes back in casual clothes and says his name is John. They have a one night and morning stand. Than approaches her about a fake marriage and contract. Many twisty and turns but a HEA.
I loved this book! I’ve been jumping between authors and stumbled onto this book by this author. I can’t believe I haven’t seen more about this writer. This book was so well written and I confess that I read it non stop. I was immersed completely in Ava and Gideon’s story. I laughed out loud in many places. Ava is someone who you would love to hang out with and Gideon? Wow! So complex but so commanding and hot! I can’t wait to read the next book. I’m a fan!
I loved the storyline and everything :). Kept me wanting to read to the end! However, there were some spelling errors and a couple of oddly placed sentences that slightly “placed pause” on the story. It was kind of like it was so exciting a few mistakes happened while writing. Those things don’t stop me from wanting to read the next story in the series though :)!**wink wink**
I enjoyed reading My Big, Fat, Fake Billionaire Wedding by Catto Love. Ava and Gideon's story will take you on a wild ride with ups and downs, lots of drama and spice. This was such a fun story to read and one you won't want to miss.

My first read by this author and what a wonderful book. Loved the connection between Gideon and Ava and the continuing development of their relationship. Highly recommend this book.
I received an arc and I’m so grateful because Gideon and Ava has my heart forever ! Ava is so damn funny , and Gideon is just hot the swag he has with himself and his words , very charming . I loved the storyline and I love love me a fake marriage trope but then definitely fall hard in love.
I liked the premise of this book, but didn't like that it was narrated by AI instead of a person. There were multiple times when wrong words were narrated and inflection was off. I won't go into a rant about AI; I simply feel that a human can speak life into words that no computer can manage.
