Leah Monks is definitely better off without her narcissistic ex, but with her self esteem in ruins, she’s nearly given up on finding “the one”.
Even though the new guy in her office makes her laugh so hard her cheeks hurt, hot, nerdy Ben couldn't possibly be interested in plain, boring, vanilla her.
When he wows her friends at bar trivia, tags along for an educational night at a strip club, and happily volunteers to hold her hand at her very first tattoo appointment, it's obviously just as friends-- even if he confesses to an embarrassing tat of his own somewhere she’s dying to see…
It's too good to be true.
Until Leah discovers pole dance classes and starts reclaiming her confidence one choreo at a time. What started as a secret way to blow off steam becomes a huge leap of faith when she nervously agrees to perform at the studio’s showcase.
If she can risk putting herself out there on stage, can she also find the courage to take another chance on love?
People Pleasers is a feel-good, sweet&spicy romance about an amateur pole-dancer and her cinnamon roll co-worker who might just love her exactly as she is.

such a short and sweet cutesy romance. a truly good story about overcoming traumas, finding your confidence and a good supportive group of friends!! cannot recommend enough
This was better at the beginning but it lost me the more I read. I really wanted to love it and I while I liked it, it just didn’t hit the spot for me.
I did like the overall message of the story, it just got a little too cheesy for my liking.
this isn’t quite my flavor of romance, but it was nonetheless very sweet, with lots of charm and personality. if you like shy fmcs, you’ll love this. it had a kind of k drama approach which was interesting. ill definitely keep up with this author!
