Organization for Creatives with ADHD: Brain-Friendly Systems to Declutter with Ease, Overcome Overwhelm, and Find Your Focus While Building Routines that Support Your Creative Flow
I received a free copy of this book and was asked by the author to leave an honest review. First and foremost, “Organization for Creatives…” is written in a way that sounds like I’m having a conversation with Heidi herself. Sometimes with self-help books, I find myself skimming the text unintentionally because it sounds like the author is trying to lecture me, but I don’t find that here. The chapters and sections are nicely categorized so I can revisit helpful parts easily. There are several suggestions for each topic, but not so many that I feel like I can never get through them.
I’m a fan of little “brain breaks” in non-fiction text. This book definitely has a nice mix of activities like quizzes, worksheets, tips/tricks, and prompts throughout its chapters. Plus, the illustrations are adorable and enhance the text in a great way.
This is a wonderful pocket-textbook for those who may be having trouble finding an organizational routine that their brain can stick to.
