Will the broken hearted biker find his happily ever after with the curvy sunshine waitress?
Tarzan
I need a fresh start to mend my broken heart. The woman I loved got married to another man, and I have to find a way to move on.
When my little brother, Teddy, invites me to join the Reckless Order MC in Colorado, I’m all too eager to abandon my rocky past. There’s nothing left for me here in California but bittersweet memories I wish I could forget.
While I settle into my new position with the club, I have no intention of getting romantically involved with anyone.
Until I meet Keely Bradshaw, the flirty waitress at the local diner. She’s bubbly, cute, sweet as sugar…and I can’t afford to put my heart on the line again. Not yet.
But Keely has a magnetic charm that’s impossible to resist. And no matter how hard I try, I can’t stay away.
Keely
I know what it’s like to fall in love with someone who doesn’t love you back. That grief and pain is written all over Tarzan.
My dad warned me to stay away from men like him. Tattooed, biker bad boys, willing to get their hands on any woman to warm their beds.
But I sense something tender in him—bruised, but still tender. Genuine. Good.
I should keep my distance.
Instead, I find myself tumbling into Tarzan’s arms. Will I cut myself on the jagged edges of his broken heart in the process? What if I’m falling for a man who still loves the woman he left back home?
3.25⭐️ for the most part this was an enjoyable read. tarzan was in love with someone else before he met keely and obviously the feelings weren’t reciprocated. so, i feel like the insta love between tarzan and keely kind of fell flat. this one just didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
A broken man, a second chance, and a love that just might save them.
Tarzan thought he’d left the pain of the past behind him when he moved to Colorado, escaping a love he could never have. All he wanted was a fresh start, no strings attached. But Keely, the sweet and fiery waitress at the local diner, changes everything.
She sees the hurt in him, the kind that never really heals, and yet she can't stay away. As the chemistry between them ignites, Tarzan is pulled into a storm of longing and desire, struggling to keep his heart locked away. Keely’s warmth and vulnerability break down walls he never thought he'd let anyone past.
Keely knows what it feels like to be left behind, but she can’t shake the pull she feels toward him. Their love is a slow burn, full of tension, passion, and everything they thought they’d never find again. When their pasts threaten to tear them apart, they must decide if they’re strong enough to build a future together.
Keely, hurt by love before, struggles with feeling like she’s not enough, making her cautious about opening her heart to Tarzan. Tarzan, still reeling from the loss of his past love, tries to keep his emotions at bay but is drawn to Keely’s warmth and charm. Their relationship evolves as they let their guards down, with Keely learning to trust in his feelings for her while Tarzan believes he can have a future beyond his heartbreak. Their dynamic, filled with emotional tension, leads them to a passionate love.
A hot, slow-burn romance about a broken-hearted biker and the curvy, fiery waitress who challenges him to trust again. It's about overcoming past heartbreak, embracing vulnerability, and learning to take a chance on love when it's the last thing you expect. Their journey is raw, filled with scars, but also tender and passionate. It’s about finding home in each other and choosing love despite the weight of their pasts.
The Elevator Pitch: A heartbroken biker seeks a fresh start in a small town, hoping to escape the weight of his past. He never expects to meet a fiery waitress whose warmth and vulnerability challenge him to trust again. Their connection is raw, intense, and filled with passion, as they both find a chance to heal and build a future together despite the scars they carry.
Tarzan, both the book itself and the character, were an absolute breath of fresh air!
Our MMC is about as far from a broody alpha-hole as you can get, which tends to be the standard for the MC romance sub-genre. He may have gotten his name from his brothers for being more brawn than brains, but I really think he’s all heart.
The FMC, Keely, is also a refreshing personality, and all of her bubbly and outgoing tendencies come right off of the page in a way that feels so genuine and infectious. She’s not a wilting flower who doesn’t know or understand anything about men and her own sexuality, and she is very upfront about not only her attraction to Tarzan, but what she wants for her romantic future.
One of my favorite things about this book, though, was the inclusion of Tarzan’s brother, Teddy. He’s a jokester who handles everything with levity except for how much he openly loves and cares for his older brother.
Being sweethearts just runs in the family, I guess.
This was a great, bite-sized read that I will absolutely be devouring again!

Tarzan has left his current MC and his love behind and is making a new life for himself with his little brother and the Reckless Order MC. That’s when he runs into a feisty little waitress that has him thinking things he shouldn’t be. Tarzan happens to run into Keely who was having a little too much fun and he takes her back to his brother’s place to keep her safe.
This was a story of two broken souls who found love when they least expected it. Keely and Tarzan both have an extended family now and they were able to get their HEA.
I initially rated it to 4 stars, but I downgraded it to 4 stars, after reading the extra epilogue.
. . .
The appearance of Stevie at their wedding reception was not necessary. Not at all, it had no purpose except being a reminder of why he changed the mc clubs. The author should have thrown Keely's ex fiance as well in the mix and call it a drama. I'm so pissed right now 😅.
In the end it was a mid read. I didn't had the feeling that Keely is his one true love, because of Stevie's constant reminder, even in the last fucking pages of this short read!!!
Tarzan left his previous MC, the Desert Howlers, after ten years with them. Why, you ask? Because he couldn’t claim the woman he was in love with, and she married someone else. As he had nowhere to go, he takes up his brother’s offer to come stay with him in Juniper Creek. Teddy, his brother, is part of the Reckless Order MC, and Tarzan figures that though he’ll be treated as a prospect again, he’d be willing to join.
The first time he goes into the Huckleberry Diner, there’s only one woman (Keely) running the place, due to the dishwasher calling in sick and the temp fell through. Tarzan is struck by her, but he thinks he’s not over Stevie yet, so he doesn’t go back until over a month later, when he’s sent to get takeout for the MC. She takes the opportunity to slip in some pie, with her number written on the napkin.
Keely is disappointed that she doesn’t see Tarzan again. She had thought they’d connected. She’s also had someone she love run off with another person—one week before her wedding. Ouch. When Keely and Tarzan get together, it’s total fire (the good kind).
I felt sad for Tarzan; it hurts to love someone you can never claim. He was so honorable, as Stevie was moving up the ladder in leadership of the Howlers and he didn’t want to interfere and have someone do something sexist. I don’t think he really understood that Stevie would find someone else, and it guts him.
Keely was devastated when her fiancé dumped her one week before the wedding. She’d wanted that happily ever after, and it feels like it was ripped out from under her. But with Tarzan, she has another chance, and thankfully, they both choose each other.
The steamy story isn’t without some MC drama, as a rival MC may be looking to take over their territory. But it isn’t the focus of the story—it’s just part of MC life. If you like MC romances, or steam, or both, this book is definitely for you.
"Tarzan" by Audrey Bell is an engaging start to the Reckless Order MC series, introducing readers to a heartfelt journey of healing and unexpected romance. The story centers on Tarzan, a biker nursing a wounded heart after losing the woman he loved to another man. Seeking to escape painful memories, he accepts his brother Teddy’s invitation to join the Reckless Order MC in Colorado, hoping a new environment will offer him a fresh start.
Determined to keep his guard up and focus on his new role with the club, Tarzan avoids romantic entanglements. However, his resolve is tested when he meets Keely Bradshaw, a charming and lively waitress at the local diner. Despite her lighthearted nature and irresistible charm, Tarzan fears risking his heart again so soon.
Keely is no stranger to a broken heart and immediately recognizes the sadness behind Tarzan’s tough exterior. Warned by her father about men like him—tattooed bikers with a reputation for breaking hearts—Keely knows she should steer clear. Yet, she can’t help but be drawn to him, even as she wonders if she’s setting herself up for heartbreak.
Bell weaves a compelling narrative filled with emotional depth and chemistry between the leads. The push and pull between Tarzan and Keely is both believable and heartwarming, with each character’s vulnerabilities adding layers to their blossoming romance. The novel also explores themes of second chances, trust, and the courage it takes to love after loss.
"Tarzan" is a captivating read for fans of motorcycle club romances and stories about finding love after heartbreak. Audrey Bell delivers a promising start to the Reckless Order MC series, leaving you eager for more.

Tarzan delivers a fast, emotional ride that blends wounded biker energy with a soft, sunshine romance that’s all about healing and second chances.
Tarzan is exactly the kind of hero you expect from an MC romance—rough around the edges, guarded, and carrying a heart that’s taken a serious hit. His struggle to move on from past heartbreak gives the story a genuine emotional pull, and it’s easy to feel the weight behind his hesitation to trust again. Watching him slowly let his guard down is where the story really shines.
Keely is the perfect balance to his stormy mood. She’s warm, bright, and refreshingly open-hearted, but not naïve. Her compassion toward Tarzan’s pain and her willingness to see the good in him make their connection feel natural rather than rushed. Their dynamic has that classic grumpy/sunshine charm—playful, tender, and full of sparks.
The small-town setting and MC backdrop add just enough edge and atmosphere without overwhelming the romance. It’s a quick read that focuses on emotional healing, strong attraction, and two people finding comfort in each other when they least expect it.
If you enjoy protective biker heroes, curvy sunshine heroines, and instalove stories with heart and heat, this is an engaging start to the series that leaves you curious for more from the Reckless Order MC.

This is the first book in the Reckless Order Mc series but does have some recurring characters from her other MC books. I enjoyed this first taste of the series and am looking forward to the next story. Tarzan/Shane was a member of Desert Howlers MC. However he fell in love with a woman he could never have. After she married someone else he needs to leave to mend his broken heart. He moves to join his brother in Colorado, and joins the Reckless Order MC. His first day there, he meets a curvy bombshell of a waitress. However, he is not ready to start anything new. But the flirty waitress is having nothing of it. Keely is a cute little waitress with a flirty personality. She is a genuine romantic at heart and is looking for her forever. One look at the hot, big bad boy biker and she is hooked. These two were really cute together and had magnetic chemistry. They are both lonely and looking for their forever, and have suffered heartbreaks. They are constantly drawn together and even when Keely sees the danger of being with Tarzan she still dives in. In just a short period of time they realize that they are just what the other has been seeking. Love the flirty, sweet joking banter throughout the story.

Keely has dreamed of a forever love her whole life. When she gets engaged, she thinks she finally has what she's always dreamt of having, only to have the groom walk away a week before the wedding. She is brokenhearted and wonders if she'll ever find her one true love, but she hasn't given up yet.
Tarzan loves someone that he knows he can't have as his own. He is always by her side, supporting her and helping her climb up their MC ladder, until one day she falls in love and marries someone else. Tarzan is devastated and decides to leave her, his MC and the city that has been his home for the last 10 years and moves to be near his brother and deal with his broken heart.
Shortly after moving in with his brother, he stops at a dinner after a ride and meets Keely. Sparks fly, but Tarzan isn't ready to put his broken heart up for grabs again, while Keely wants more of Tarzan.
Will Tarzan stick around and take another chance? Will Keely come on too strong and scare Tarzan away? You'll have to jump on this ride to find out, but be warned, this is one book you won't be able to put down from start to finish.

Tarzan by Audrey Bell is the first title in the new series The Reckless Order MC and as a quick read it is ideal for an afternoon escape or distraction. As an opposites attract, grumpy/sunshine, biker, instalove romance the storyline was well paced with some sweetness, steam, spiciness and action as well as the engaging main characters Tarzan and Keely. Tarzan, a heart broken grumpy biker has left his old MC in California and arrives in Colorado to join the MC his younger brother Teddy belongs to in the hope that he can forget the woman he loved but couldn't have. Keely, a curvy, bubbly and sweet diner waitress recognises the hurt and pain Tarzan is carrying but is still attracted and inexplicably drawn to the tenderness underneath. Tarzan is adamant that he stays away from Keely whilst his heart is still raw but circumstances align and he can't walk away leaving Keely vulnerable to danger. With some heat, heart and some steamy and spicy scenes, this short read is ideal to keep you turning the pages to get to their satisfying HEA.

Tarzan and Keely’s story is a fast 4⭐️ read in the Reckless Order MC Series. Tarzan comes to the Reckless Order from a California MC with a broken heart and no plans to fix it any time soon. He wants to patch in to the Reckless Order, but has to start over as a Prospect at 33, not what he wants after spending 10 years calling the Desert Howlers MC men his brothers ! But life and love had other plans for him. One slice of cherry pie was all it took to put Keely on his radar and let the games begin. This was one of the best of Audrey Bell’s Reckless Order Books, it was just a bit “wham -bam- thank you mam for me. I’d have liked to seen a bit more adversity played out, both in Tarzan’s private life and as a prospect. He got away with way to much, most other prospects would have had time added to their prospect service or had their patch taken all together. But it’s a hot, sexy quick read and I loved seeing all the characters from previous books.

Short but addictive so hang on you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned. Keely a waitress with a big smile, an attitude but she two knows what a breakup feels like and she to may show a smile on the outside, but she knows what it feels like to not be wanted and it takes a lot out of her each time she thinks about it. But the moment the biker comes in there is something there between them and despite both having trust issues fate could careless the more they fight the closer they grow but they don’t just grow they heal one another without realizing it but will they continue to be with each other, will they let the fear of being hurt stop them, will they give each other a real chance, and will it leads to happiness?
He spent years giving his life to his club and supporting a woman who would go on to marry another man. They had never been more than friends, but he was secretly in love with her so when she moved on, he couldn’t stay, and when his brother offered him a shot in his club states away he decides to go. What he doesn’t expect is a sassy little waitress in the diner who he can’t stop thinking about. She knows he has led a life, but that doesn’t stop her from thinking about the hot biker, and that she might be the one who can mend his broken heart. When they are finally forced together, their chemistry can’t be contained, and he realizes what he felt before. Wasn’t anything compared to what he feels now. A story about starting over after what you thought was your destiny only to realize it never was at all.

Tarzan is a strong, fiery start to The Reckless Order MC series. Audrey Bell delivers everything you want in a motorcycle club romance — danger, loyalty, intense chemistry, and a hero who is rough on the outside but fiercely protective when it matters most.
The MC atmosphere is gritty and immersive, and Tarzan is exactly the kind of alpha hero MC fans crave: dominant, unapologetic, and deeply devoted once he claims his woman. The chemistry between the leads is instant and scorching, but there’s also an emotional pull that gives the relationship weight beyond just the heat.
The pacing works really well, keeping the story moving while still allowing the connection to develop. If you enjoy motorcycle club romance, possessive heroes, high heat, and stories filled with loyalty and edge, this book is absolutely worth the read.

TARZAN is the first book in The Reckless Order MC series. It's a short, sharp novella, full of sweetness and hot stuff. It was a quick read, but well worth it.
I haven't read the other series that this is a spin-off from. In fact, this is the first book I have read by her. It won't be the last! I loved not only her style of writing, but the romance in there. Yes, it's fast-paced. It is a novella, after all. But I loved how both 'Cherry' and Tarzan want a forever love, with romance galore, and they were happy with that AND each other. Plus, Keely's look? My favourite kind.
So many others I now want to hear from, but most especially Teddy - the one who doesn't want romance. I can't wait to see him fall.
A great read that starts off a new series with a bang. I just wish it had been a full-length novel, so I could get my fill of these two amazing characters.

This short story was so cute and such a quick, satisfying read. If instalust isn’t your thing, this one might not win you over, but if you love instant chemistry and characters who aren’t afraid to go after what they want, you should absolutely pick this up.
Tarzan is ready for a fresh start after pining over an unrequited love. He moves away to join his brother’s MC, determined to leave the past behind and build something new. And then we get the cutest meet-cute ever: a confident, no-nonsense waitress who boldly slips her number onto his diner receipt. Honestly? Iconic behavior.
What I loved most is that neither of them played games. They both knew exactly what they wanted and dove in headfirst. No unnecessary back-and-forth, no dragged-out misunderstandings, just mutual attraction, clear intentions, and off-the-charts chemistry.
1000% recommend if you’re in the mood for a fast-paced romance with instant sparks. 💕
This biker romance begins with a refreshing twist: the female main character actually makes the first move. That was something I really enjoyed, because it’s not something you see very often in this type of story. It gives the romance a nice and confident start and makes their first interactions feel a little different from the usual dynamic. After that strong beginning, the story gradually settles back into the more familiar patterns of biker romances, with outside threats and the typical challenges surrounding the biker lifestyle. While those elements are quite common for the genre, they still work well within the story and keep the plot moving. Overall, it’s an enjoyable read with a nice twist at the start. If you like biker romances but appreciate a slightly different beginning to the relationship, this one is definitely worth checking out.

His younger brother reaches out and tells him to move to Colorado to join him and his brothers in the Reckless Order MC, he takes him on the offer. Now he has to live with his younger brother until he gets himself settled. He's not looking for anyone at this time, but fate has other things planned for Tarzan.
I liked this story and the characters are great! Keely and Tarzan have both been through rough relationships and have decided to take a bit of time, but when Tarzan meets Keely, things change for both of them. There's an instant attraction, but will they fight it or will they give into the pull?
Good start to a new MC series by Audrey Bell. I look forward to more stories to come in this series.

I love that Keely is into a vintage look! And that Tarzan is a blond. So I’m shallow. But those are not the only reasons I like this book. The plot was quick and interesting without being overly complicated. Sometimes simple is better. And this book was really about the love story over the plot. These are forever kind of people, and it was a delight to watch them fall in love with each other. Cat’s Stats Elevator pitch- Tarzan starts over his brother’s MC as a prospect after getting his heart broken by a female member of his old MC. This is a spin off of the author's Alpha Riders MC series, Tarzan was in love with Stevie and when she got with Diablo he knew he could not stay. He left the Desert Howlers MC to join his younger brother, Teddy/Trooper in Juniper Creek and the Reckless Order MC.
He gets the attention of Keely, the girl that works at the Huckleberry Diner, she flirts with him but even though her attracted to her, he believes he is still hung up on Stevie.
When he show up for take out for the club, she gives him her number but is disappointed when he does not call. She runs into him and she has been drinking heavily, he takes her back to his place for take care of her. Things accelerate from there, he stops holding back believing he is ready for her.

Tarzan joins the Reckless Order carrying the weight of a broken heart, determined to leave his past—and the love that shattered him—behind. Swearing off relationships, he’s focused on loyalty to his club and nothing more.
Keely, on the other hand, may have been hurt before, but she hasn’t given up on finding something real. She still believes in love, even when it feels risky.
Their chemistry sparks immediately, but it’s Tarzan’s guarded heart that keeps things complicated. Watching their relationship unfold—slowly, stubbornly, and with plenty of tension—makes the payoff that much sweeter.
Packed with MC danger, undeniable heat, fierce loyalty, and that powerful sense of found family, this story delivers emotion and edge in equal measure.

This was a fun series opener that starts off with some heartbreak. Tarzan/Shane has moved in with his younger brother to have a fresh start after falling for someone that didn't fall for him. As a new prospect for the Reckless Order MC, he's tasked with all those jobs to prove his loyalty to the patched in brothers. Meeting Keely, a waitress in the diner, on a lunch run errand, shocks his world. She's immediately smitten with him ;P He has some healing to do but can't get over their connection. I really enjoyed this romance and the fact that Tarzan wasn't all broody, as so many MC characters are. With his jokester of a brother in the mix, I found the entire read very entertaining and was thrilled these two lonely souls did get their HEA. Good fun!
Tarzan is a well written, fun story with great characters.
Tarzan leaves California, his current MC and unrequited love and heads to Colorado to move in with his brother and join the Reckless Order MC. He wants a fresh start. Meanwhile Keely, who also has suffered a broken heart, is dreaming of finding her soulmate. When Tarzan goes to the diner where Keely waitresses, they are instantly attracted to one another. They have to decide if taking a chance on love is worth risking a broken heart.
Tarzan is a sweet story about starting again, taking a chance on love, and finding the one person you can't live without. But this isn't only a love story. It's about new beginnings and the brotherhood of MC life.
This is a short and steamy love story that brings two people who feel left behind, unwanted into an explosive relationship and a HEA
Tarzan has to drop from his MC after his love marries someone else. Once he swears into his brother's MC he is resigned to life that all changes when he meets Keely. She is bubbly, caring, sweet, and brings him out of his funk. Their attraction is magnetic. She also has felt the loss of her love, she was not chosen, and she has resigned to never being first, especially when Tarzan leaves. Time and space work on their favor, and be ready for the steam when he is back in town !!.

Steamy Second-Chance Romance Both Tarzan and Keely have been burned by love—but are they ready to risk it again? The attraction between them is instant, undeniable. But Tarzan isn’t so quick to give in. Still reeling from the woman he loved marrying someone else, he’s not convinced his heart is ready for anything new. Distance was supposed to help him move on…so why is Keely making that so difficult? Keely, though, sees something more in him. Beneath the hesitation and heartbreak, there’s a tenderness she can’t ignore. She knows the risk—but how do you walk away from something that feels so right? This is a steamy, quick read you can easily finish in one sitting. The romance is front and center, while the club adds a bit of action on the side.
