💋Picture this…

I'm the queen of closing deals, flipping keys to new homeowners like pancakes at a brunch buffet.

I've seen it all—or so I thought.

Because nothing is preparing me for this mansion.

It has an infinity pool that screams 'splash me,’

A bed that practically purrs, “ruin me,”

And then there’s the portrait...

A man so smoldering, he could set off the sprinklers and still leave the room hotter than hell.

He has devil-may-care golden locks, eyes like stormy gray secrets, and tattoos that have more stories to tell than a late-night barfly.

I can't resist, and so..I did the unimaginable...

I plop on the bed and start having some X-rated daydreams about Mr. Portrait.

One thing leads to another... and guess what?

Mr. Portrait, aka Konstantin Belov, isn't just eye candy-

He's the audience.

Dear Readers

Consider this the buildup—the main event is Book 2, where Bella finds out that saying “I do” to Konstantin Belov is a lot like signing a deal with the devil… if the devil had a six-pack and a custom-tailored suit. Read Book 2, Cobalt Sin

More KU BS

It has a poorly advertised cliffhanger, ( I didn’t realize it) and they don’t even kiss in this entire first book. The only sex scene is the MC watching the FMC masturbate.
The author basically took what should be the first act of a stand alone story and made it the entire book. And the prologue in this turkey is actually the ending of book one.

It’s too bad, because it was an interesting story otherwise and I would have liked a complete, stand alone book if not for the above problems. I hate it that I’m feeding the algorithm with this review, but if it saves anyone else from wasting their time, that’s a silver lining.

This book starts off with an intriguing beginning that brings both of them together. I’ll be honest I did not see this story starting off this way and I love it. This storyline is captivating on how Konstantin and Bella meet that it keeps you glued to their story that you don’t want to put down the book. He’s a strong, patient alpha Russian mafia leader and she’s lives with too many uncertainties but also has fire beneath her that fights for those she loves.

There are many emotions from the start of this storyline… mystery, intrigue, devilish laughter, sadness, anger and steamy hotness. A very powerful and captivating journey for these two.

I love the way Mya tells her story, she instantly pulls you in and you’re consumed. She has crafted a powerful, heartfelt, dynamic and thrilling storyline. With a fascinating plot twist. You can’t help but love Mya’s first book to this series.

Get ready and fasten yourself in for what’s to come for this couple. As Mya takes you on roller coaster ride of Konstantin and Bella’s journey together in book 2 (Cobalt Sin) I can’t wait to read. Definitely recommend Silver Sin!

4.5 ⭐️ Really enjoyed this book. From the start I was drawn to Bella, guardian to her siblings. Spends her life working to make ends meet as her greedy relatives plot to take what belongs to her and her siblings.
Bella finds herself stranded and this is when she meets the lush Konstantin, Pakhan in waiting, and where her life is about to change for the better hopefully!

Bring on book 2 can’t wait to see Bella’s interaction with Konstantin’s kids.

Thank you for this ARC.

Disappointed

This was really a long drawn out book that could have been 4 chapters, really. The inner dialogue drags so much that you feel like you've been reading forever, and there's no progress. You feel like you're still in the part of the plot the entire book. This didn't need to be 2 books at all. I wouldn't read it again

It was just okay

I felt like there was a lot of unnecessary dialog going on. The entire book led up to what we already read in the beginning.. I'm slightly disappointed with that. However, I do like the FMC and the MMC. They seem to have just the right amount of chemistry.

Isabella Marquez is a realtor who stumbled into a nightmare with Konstantin Belov. It started two weeks ago on her 29th birthday which happens to be Valentine’s Day. She is told by her boss, Sandra, to go take pictures of Shadow Hill on her birthday. It is a two-hour drive and the mansion is supposedly old and creepy looking. Bella’s best friend, Elena, gives her birthday presents, a neon green vibrator and a joint, early to help her “chill out”. It is pouring rain and her car, Betsy, is acting up so it is taking her much longer for her to get to the mansion than it should have. It is dark when Bella approaches the estate. Her car dies right outside the gate of Shadow Hill. The gate and path are creepy but when she arrives at the mansion, it is surprisingly taken care of by someone. Bella wanders into the mansion and goes out by the infinity pool. She ends up taking three puffs of the joint Elena gave her. It makes her cough and then she starts to feel high. She goes back inside and goes upstairs. In the master bedroom, there is a portrait of a sinfully handsome man above the fireplace. After Bella takes a shower, she decides to lie on the expensive silk sheets with only a towel on and starts fantasizing about the man in the portrait.

Konstantin Belov’s father, Anatoly, is the current Pakhan and he was on his deathbed 2 weeks ago. He has been in a coma for the last six months after suffering a stroke. Boris, his father’s lawyer, tells Konstantin that he must get married and have a baby with his new wife within a year to officially become the next Pakhan. If he does not do what his father wishes, his half-brother, Filipp, will be Pakhan, giving his father’s mistress, Tatiana, power. Konstantin has two months to get married and get his new wife pregnant to make his father’s deadline. Konstantin has gone to his secret reading room at Shadow Hill to think about his father’s ultimatum. He watches Bella through the two-way mirror. He can see her, but she can’t see him. He is wondering where she came from but is mesmerized by her beauty.

Konstantin is the single father to three children. Lev and Nikolai are 12- year old twins and Ayla is eight. Lev thinks he knows everything. Nikolai overthinks everything. Ayla is confident and acts like the boss. Their mother, Irina, took off years ago. Ayla was barely one and twins were three.

Bella’s aunt and uncle are trying to sell her family home. They were supposed to take care of Bella and her two siblings when their parents died. Instead, they used the children’s inheritance for their own selfish wants. Bella does not want to lose the one thing they have left of their parents, which is the house. Her boss ran his real estate company into the ground, so Bella has no choice but to accept Konstantin’s offer. He promises her that she will be able to keep her house and protect her siblings. Julian is 17 and Lila is 14.

These two were definitely interested in each other from the beginning. They each have their own selfish reasons for the marriage contract.

Did you just ever have one of those Days maybe weeks were everything goes to crap one were your money hungry life sucking family just won't leave you alone were you have to fight to keep your siblings and to top it all off your boss just totally ruined your birthday now your out in the middle of nowhere taking pictures of some rich guys house that's for sale your cars konked out your drenched why not smoke a little weed and take a shower just to take the pressure off know one will care unless they walk in on you expressing your love for there portrait way to go Bella. Konstantin Belov should be the only heir to his family empire there next Pakhan but his father is making demands and his stepmother wants her son to have everything if he wants to rule he's going to have and marry again and produce another heir what's wrong with his other 3 children sounds like his father is either up to something or wants to see he's son happy before he dies or that's my theory so examine your real pissed about the situation you go to your property for some space time to think and you find someone Bella in your bed what do you think Konstantin is going to do maybe someone is laughing at him or they just gave him the perfect gift arrangement that they can both benefit from he gets his baby she gits his power what could go wrong.

I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Mya Grey is an artist at building the perfect “mafia boss” and the women that brings them to their knees. Bella is underwater and drowning. She’s in a legal battle with her aunt and uncle about her siblings and their homestead. Her uncle, family, is filled with greed and disloyalty. From the way she describes her father, it’s difficult to believe that he’s related to the deceased. Konstantin, son of the Belov Pahkhan can’t take his rightful place as head of the family without a wife and an heir…although he has 3 already. An unexpected meeting that leaves them both speechless puts Bella on his radar, and he always gets what he wants. A marriage of convenience is the perfect solution to both their problems, but will Bella stay are take her chances fleeing once she realizes what she has gotten into?

This was the perfect setup for what’s to come. There’s sure to be passion and so much more because these two ooze want and need. We get to see the most important moving parts in this book. His kids, her siblings, his parents, the stepmom and step/half brother? His closest confidants and Bella’s bestie. I’m secretly hoping that the man she met at the Dungeon is connected to Konstantin. I’m anxiously awaiting the next book.

I have waited for this story to come out along with its twin story and it is well worth the wait! Isabella needs some serious help, she is on the point of losing the house, the house that her siblings and her knew growing up,she is late with her bills, her aunt and uncle are breathing down her back and on that, she has a crappy job that is going under and that means no money,no job! Konstantin will be the head of the Pakhan and must meet the rules of his father,he must marry and produce a heir but he has a problem he has no women.Enter Isabella who is sent to check out this house by her crampy supervisor on her birthday no less, after her car Besty breaks down in the rain in front of this house which she thought was the one she is supposed to check out,she decides to try out the items her best friend gave her for her birthday, not realizing she is being watched. Now Konstantin has something to hold Isabella, she may not like it but maybe it will take care all her problems! This story was a lively one,and boy it's not dull,a real page turner and well worth more than five stars and I can't wait to read the next part.P.S.I like the eye candy for the cover too!If you don't read this story you are missing out!

Bella is a Real Estate agent. Her boss comes in and tells her she has to go to a property to take photos of the house because the property was going to be sold. She had to do it on her Birthday the next day. She drives to the property in a terrible rainstorm where her car breaks down. She enters the property and finds the door unlocked and so she enters. The house seems empty so she starts to look around. She goes upstairs and finds a room that’s not locked. She enters and finds a master bedroom that’s is unbelievably. She looks up at the portrait and can’t believe the handsome man. She figures no one is there and she is drenched so she goes and takes a shower.
She comes out and fantasizes about the man in the portrait. Unbeknownst to her he is watching her. His name is Konstantin Belov
He can’t get her out of his mind. He has her followed and finds out she is in debt, that her uncle and aunt are trying to sell the home she lives in with her sister and brother. He makes her an offer she can’t refuse.
Excellent story line. The characters were amazing and the writer is awesome

I received a free copy of this ebook in exchange for a honest review.

I loved that the opening shows us the ending, and the story is then going back in time to see how the lead characters actually meet and how different factors in both of their lives build up to the decisions they make.

It slightly lowers the pacing and creates a bigger build-up of emotions, so I feel like I know the characters more than I did in your other work.

Reading one of these darker romance books with a romance angle that really works isn't too common; however in Silver Sin I really become caught up with the leads mutual attraction, budding romance and their feelings of mistrust. The development of their feeling towards each other doesn't feel too rushed given the surrounding circumstances, and their chemistry is instantly apparent. In addition to the romance & criminal elements there is a whole series worth of soap opera worthy drama.

I was NOT left wanting more from this, and I can't wait for the second half of this duology.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | A Slow-Burn Prelude to Something Bigger

I really enjoyed Cobalt Sin, though I didn’t completely fall in love with it. Mya Grey’s writing is as captivating as ever, and it’s clear this book is laying the groundwork for a much juicier story or that long-awaited happily-ever-after.

The dynamic between Konstantin and Isabella was classic opposites attract—chalk and cheese. Bella’s warmth and nurturing nature contrasted sharply with Konstantin’s cold, closed-off demeanor. You could feel that she was slowly defrosting him, and that made for an interesting emotional arc.

I especially loved Bella’s growing relationship with Konstantin’s children—it was touching and felt very natural, given her maternal instincts. That said, it was obvious she was always going to be the caring, loving type, so there weren’t too many surprises there.

Overall, the characters were strong, and the writing was engaging, but the story felt very much like a prelude to something more substantial. Thankfully, I had book two ready to go—if I hadn’t, I’m not sure I would’ve stuck with it. Still, a solid read and a promising setup for what’s to come.

SILVER SIN is the newest mafia romance from Mya Grey. The trope is: devoted, workaholic 29 year old single woman unexpectedly meets the soon-to-be Pakhan of the Russian Mafia, who must marry within a specific time frame to attain his leadership position. The only way this trope works well is if the devoted yet unprepared woman reveals significant depths of strength and character while the man reveals hidden warmth and compassion previously unnoticed. The meet cute, in this case, is bizarre and sexually provocative. But the plot moves forward well with a stable of potential bad guys to thwart any possible marriage turned love affair. And then book one ends too soon. Just as we get to the start of the oddly matched couple’s real interactions, and the potential evil doers are gathering at the door/bedside/ grave, we’re told to read book 2. It cannot arrive soon enough.

I received my copy from the author.

Mya Grey's first Belov Bratva book, Silver Sin, is another sexy and suspenseful, yet fun read. The main male character, Konstantin Belov, is a smoldering bad boy facing extreme pressure to hold on to his birthright. The main female character, Bella Marquez, is a woman facing overwhelmingly unfavorable odds in her effort to protect her siblings. After the most embarrassing meet cute ever, Konstantin becomes enamored with Bella and offers a deal that will benefit them both. The stage is set for the next book in the series which can't come quickly enough.

I enjoy witty dialogue and love an author who can write realistic conversation. Many can't capture the rhythm of great banter, but Mya Grey does. Her characters are so sarcastic and over the top during their interactions that I first thought, no one talks like this, but then the realization dawned that I frequently have quite similar conversations with my friends and family. And this is why I enjoy her books.

The worst way I can think of to be introduced to the man whose house you just walked into without invitation, is to be caught by him masturbating to a portrait of that same man on the wall of his bedroom with a large, bright green dildo/vibrator while laying in his bed. Not to mention you just stepped out of his shower after using his soap and shampoo. Kind of makes for a bad birthday.

After stammering and stuttering, you are escorted out of the house by security and flown home in a helicopter, expecting to never see the man again. Unfortunately you have just peaked the interest and curiosity of the head of the Bratva in your town and after researching you, he decides to add you to his household because you can be useful to him...as a wife.

Book 1 of a series, I can't wait for the next book to come out. This was HOT and dangerous and keeps your interest from start to finish.

Konstantin Belov is in line to become the Russian Mafia boss. His father is dying (supposedly) and his second wife (is he also married to Konstantin's mother) is determined to have her son take over the organization. But Konstantin will stand in her way. His father in his will stated that Konstantin needs to be married and have a child in order to claim the position, even though he has three children by a previous marriage. The families want to see stability in their leader. Isabella who is a real estate agent who deals in multi-million dollar homes, is fighting to keep her siblings and home together. Her Aunt and Uncle are selfish people who will do anything to get money including fighting her on her home. Konstantin makes Bella an offer she cannot refuse. The book is really good and highly recommended. Mya Grey has done it again.

Excellent start to this new series.
I love when Mya Grey has a new series, because I can't wait to sink my teeth into it. She gives you such visuals that you feel you are in the room with the characters.
Konstantin needs to have a bride or he can't take over his family's Bratva. Also, he needs a child. Since he already has 3 from a previous marriage, his father stipulates that the child must be from his new wife. What will he do? And how will he find that perfect woman?
Bella is trying to keep her head above water as the area's top Realtor. She needs to make more money or she will lose her family home and lose custody of her younger brother and sister.
I'm still laughing about how the two meet. It's sexy, bizarre, and funny as hell. I can't wait for book 2 because the set-up was incredible for this story.

If you only read a few books this year, “Silver Sin” should be at the top of that list. Isabella and Konstantin are the very best blend of scorching hot chemistry; opposites attracting who would never have met under normal circumstances and make humour high-octane sexy! Between her smarminess and chronically internal case of foot-in-mouth disease, and his orgasm inducing sexy bad boy vibes and Alpha predator good looks, what could possibly go wrong. A quicky wedding, unexpected scorching heat and a tiny assassin in a cupcake dress, all the result of a bedroom scene you will never forget! This is awesome and another example of the sheer brilliance Mya Grey brings to her books. She had me by the bottom of page one! Who knew funny could be so sexy and sexy could be so funny?!?!? Treat yourself to this one, you’ll be sorry if you do…

Wow, what a way to start book one of this duet.

Mary gets dumbed by her boyfriend of six years via a text.
She decides to get drunk & go to her best friends apartment where she knows where the spare key is. To do a little of late night karaoke. Little did she know that he sublet it to Anton. Dark, broody & oh so deadly. He walks in only for her to pass out from being blind drunk. He takes her to bed where she is half with it, gropes him & kisses him.

Little does she know that she gets his attention for all the wrong reasons. Ends up in his penthouse being held to help Anton achieve his goal of who’s behind the Bravtas missing money.

Oh how I loved that this first book left you on a cliff hanger when it was just getting to the juicy bit. I am an ARC so I can’t wait for the second instalment of this duet. Once again Mya smashes it

The Epilogue at the beginning was an amazing entrance into a book that pulled me in willy nilly! Bella is struggling with heavy burdens of family, and crises with a family home for her and her siblings, a boss who is a snake with Botox, and a traitorous old car that gave up the ghost on a frigid, stormy scary night!
But the chapter where she indulges in a birthday gift, then crosses the line in the Master bathroom and bedroom? Holy moly!! From 2 separate POV's and a situation that could not get any worse if one tried!!
I loved the family treachery that the MMC already knew was going on.. the decision Bella had to make to protect her siblings. I absolutely loved this book!! I cannot wait for the 2nd part of the story!

Author prefaced book stating not rom-com, and it is in fact a dark story.
I then proceeded to snort laugh my way through the first chapter. This heroine is so amazingly awkward, I just about fell in love with her too….

The author did a great job building up the story - so refreshing to actually get to know the characters before they become a thing.

When they meet (or just before they meet… if you know what I mean…) had me absolutely rolling, My family were giving me side-eye, because I lost it.

Now, this was the very extended prologue for Bella and Konstantin. I had a ball reding this one. Considering the cliffhanger… I’m anxious about Cobalt Sin. But if it’s anything like this, gonna be amazing!

I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Bella is fierce. She put her brother and sister before herself. I loved the flow of this book. It had enough depth to keep me interested. Bella is funny in her thoughts while in the mansion. I laughed til I cried. Konstantin is a broody hot blooded man. He is a devoted father. He is definitely an alpha male. The chemistry between him and Bella is sizzling hot. I loved how the plots for power were carefully crafted by the writer. I enjoyed the interactions of all the characters because it made them seem realistic. The author did a great job as always with this book and the cliffhanger of an ending was mouthwatering suspense

This is a love story ready to break. Bella works hard to support her siblings and to keep the house. She breaks into Konstantins house and has some naughty fun, not knowing that the while she's in his bedroom he's watching her. Konstantin is awe-struck with Bella, for her beauty and guts breaking in and
using his bed for pleasure. He soon finds out that he needs a wife and heir within the year or lose the Pakhan position to his stepbrother. Bella doesn't realize how her and her siblings' lives are about to change.
I can't wait for the second book to come out.

This is a great book. Will Bella agree to Konstantin’s marriage contract for one year? What happens when she figures out she is marrying into the mafia? Konstantin has paid off all of Ella’s debts, paid off the other people that wanted to buy her family’s house and put her brother into prep school along with her sister into boarding school. How well do the siblings adjust? Lila currently is angry at Ella for ruining her life by putting her in boarding school away from her friends. Yet, at age 14 all teenagers do not get along with their parents.

This book had me laughing, sweating, flustered and heated hotter than a bonfire! Mya Grey has outdone herself with this book. It’s like she snuck into my head and put me into the FMC, Bella, who is now my favorite FMC. And Belov, sinful, dangerous, sexy as hell, Russian mafia, and completely thrown off course by the quirky, mouth vomiting Bella, who will do anything to keep her two siblings and her family home; even marry the man who caught her in his house, enjoying his portrait. I can’t wait for book two in this amazing series

Absolutely fabulous as a prequel to “Cobalt Sin” - can’t wait for this to be released, and if this is the main book then it’ll be even better. For want of a better phrase to quote Mya Grey herself- ‘I’m screaming from the digital rooftops’. You are drawn in from the first page until the last and it leaves you wanting for more.
I couldn’t put this down, the only drawback is that I now have to wait to see how this relationship between Konstantinos and Bella develops, my bet is that it’s on the cards to be epic. And also can’t wait to see if the “green monster” makes a reappearance…..

Bella is running out of options to try to save her family and ends up in a desperate situation. Konstantin is the next in line to run his family's Bratva but his father has stipulations, he must marry and produce an heir. When Bella stumbles into his house to escape a storm she gets herself into some trouble. This is a slow burn Bratva romance with a ton of tension between the characters, some LOL moments that provide some levity and although this book doesn't get to the steam, you can feel it coming. Can't wait for the next book!

I received an ARC of this book. I loved it! OMG Konstantine is Hot. Bella is a successful realtor. She’s raising her two younger siblings while fighting her scheming aunt and uncle from stealing their inheritance. After meeting Bella in a funny situation,he offers a marriage contract for a year. His father is the pakhan of a Russian mafia family and he is dying. He needs a wife to insure his place as pakhan. It’s a great book but is a cliffhanger. It’s a great story and I can’t wait to read the next book.
