The book count for this series may seem daunting since this is the 95th book, thankfully the way IT Lucas organizes the series is by having the books are set in 3-4 books in a mini-series that revolves around a main couple. There are often side characters & couples that you will see develop along side the main couple. The series does have an overarching storyline that continues through all the books so it is best to read them in order. These books are also told from the POV of multiple individuals, even many of the side characters or members of previous highlighted coupled. Each chapter clearly identifies who is telling their story so it is easy to follow.
This is the first book in Fenella and Din’s story, and I am loving the direction that it is going. Fenella makes some interesting discoveries about her family in this book & because of it, she might just be the key to finding the Clan Mother’s long lost love. This was such a great read and I can’t wait for the next one.

Pick up book 1 Dark Stranger immediately
This is my absolute favorite series. If you’re this far into it, you don’t need a review. You’re just waiting for the newest one, but if you haven’t started this… pick up book one immediately you have to start from the beginning.
If you do want a little review… OH MY GOD I’M SO EXCITED!!!
I’ll be honest I wasn’t really into this couple as much, I didn’t hate Fenella but I didn’t particularly like her either and from what we know about Din going into this I didn’t have much hope for heat. But Lucas brings back the spice in this one and I’m here for it.
Now the real excitement is where I think we are going. Are we really going to find out what happened to Khiann??? Do keep turning these out Ms. Lucas because I need to know lickety-split like.

I needed more, lol!!!! Din is all in. It's so hard to get a read on Fenella. She is so broken and Jaded I almost feel bad that Din may be fated to her. She has to be one of the most frustrating characters in the series!

😮 Please tell me the baby is the 4th because they are stressing Annani and she is stressing me! Poor Goddess!

Fenella's new life
Upon realization that she was immortal, she kept running and staying in places around the world, with just short stays in places until the "Doctor Doomer" took her and did unthinkable things. Now she has actual family and the man that loved her beyond measure for over 50 years. Can she handle it, what does her future hold with Din, and her newly found cousins in search of Annani' s mate? Guess we shall see with the next book in the series. Thank you I. T. Lucas, for another engrossing read in the Children of the Gods series. I wait impatiently for the next book!

I loved Fenella's story! She's sassy, strong, resilient and absolutely feisty. After everything she was put through, the woman is still standing strong. Reunited with Din, an immortal from her past ( which she didn't know at that time about his immortality) has been pinning for her for over five decades. The chemistry between the two is there and seems to be fated. But Fenella being well..Fenella is not having it. Trauma is catching up and might just ruin everything between them. Hopefully her strong will won't let it get ruined 'cause obviously they're definitely fated mates!
Can't wait to read what's next with these two!

Fenella…
Fenella is hard to take. I understand that she has been through a lot, but dang. To me, she exudes negativity. Negative thoughts, negative responses to any and almost everything. Pessimistic outlooks. I just can’t with her. And on top of that, she’s so fake, constantly saying things she doesn’t mean and then immediately thinking to herself how it wasn’t true.
Din deserves better. Max is an ass. And everyone is slow to this whole information gathering (and sharing) on Khiann despite saying there’s an urgency.

Fenella and Din
Fenella and Din's story. This is the first time we actually meet Din and I think Fenella is pleasantly surprised with the change in him from 50 years ago. She is not easily swayed and holds a lot of trauma from the last 50 years. It will take patience on Din's part to earn her trust and love. Also Fenella realizes she is not alone and has family besides the clan and that brings more surprises. Some smaller side stories are developing as well. We may be getting closer to finding Khiann.

Fennella came with Kyra and Jasmine to the village as a refugee and found a home, family and a new hope but it has consequences that could have disastrous repercussions or even disastrous outcomes. Unbeknownst to her and the other survivors, the village and their families are becoming increasingly integrated and some strains and wounds are being healed but also repressed. Fear of the human world still exists although the village offers a sanctuary of safety that none have ever known, so learning how to cope with this new world is confusing.

There are many revelations in the book. Fenella finds she does have a power. With Jasmine, Kyra, and Fenella, they may compliment and increase the way their powers work. And they may help find Khiann. Din finally makes it to the village. Fenella and Din are exploring their relationship. Will Kalugal and Din be able to help find Khiann since they both ae archeologists. Fenella working at Atzil’s bar was quite fun. And Kyra’s sisters, nieces and nephews may bring many new facets to stories to come. To many more discoveries and developments!

When Fenella, , Kyra and Jasmine have their blood analysed it’s found the 3 women have a joint ancestor from 25 generations ago. When being tested by Amanda it’s found Fenella has psychometric abilities which, hopefully, will help in finding Khiann.

I love this series obviously, I have read 96 books but this last couple it seems like not enough happens. Like so many story lines are started but no results. I am like a junkie with a fix I get notified a couple of days before the new book gets released and I read it in its entirety the day it comes out. Like where is the story line with Drova going? What happened with Geraldine and Margos brother? Are they going to find Anananis husband? Whatever happened to the therapist kraell mate did everyone get over hating him?

getting back on track
At last Kian has realised that the clan can’t just sit back and let the world play out. Sounds like we are going to get some exciting missions in the near future. I’m glad that the selected ‘couples’ are taking more of a back seat in the overall story telling as that was getting a bit boring. I’d rather find out about new paranormal talents than hear the droning inner monologues about their ‘feelings’.

Awesome!
The many, many intricate threads that run through this entire series are just mind-boggling. I can feel the threads of stories told so long ago, starting to show how they fit into the big jigsaw puzzle that this series is building. I can't wait to see how it will all unfold; I feel so invested in the lives of these people, I just know I'll be devastated if any of them don't make it.

Masterpiece
I.T. Lucas's Children of the Gods series is an epic masterpiece. Each book flows into the next and leaves the reader hungry for more. I have personally read all of the 90 plus books in this series in the past year, and I have fallen in love with each and every character.
If you don't want to be bored by a run-of-the-mill vampire story, you will be thrilled by Lucas's new take on the vampire mythos and the history of the gods on Earth.

Always a great read in a great saga.
Finally safe and living in the clan's village, Fenella can start to become the woman she is meant to be with the help of Din. More challenges await as she recognizes that she, Kyra, and Jasmine may be the keys to finding Khiann, Annani's long lost husband. I absolutely love this series and can't wait for the next one.

I can't wait for more!
This first book in the newest three book story arc is absolutely amazing. It is completely believable where emotions are concerned. And as always just removed enough from reality that the fantasy is something we can all believe in and desire. I am eagerly awaiting the next book.

COTGODS-95 Dark Rover's Luck
Din and Fenella's story is getting good. I can't believe the book has come to an end and I look forward to reading the next installment of this series!! As usual, so well-written and intriguing. worth it!!
I love all books in this series! The author creates a tale that just makes me feel like I’m a part of it as I read! Only thing is the table of contents takes up a lot of space that I’d prefer was used for more chapters lol. What can I say…I want more!

I eagerly await the next book. My favorite thing about this writer is how her characters come alive for me. There is just enough fantasy that it doesn't become ridiculous. For us old people with failing memories, I wish she would list all the characters and a little synopsis about each one.

Another blinder!!!
The start of Din and Fenellas story made an interesting read, feels like we are building up to something epic, maybe for the 100th book?? Things in the hint for khiann seem to be picking up too, building into another page turning, exciting read!

Superb Series
This is the series that never ends, but it hasn’t gotten boring or overdone or anything like that. The story carries on with all the characters and twists and turns we all expect in a paranormal story.

I believe that I.T.Lucas could find new characters to fill a thousand years worth of books ! With each new character comes a step closer to finding peace for the clan and love for the clan mother ! Lets hope that keeps the books coming for many more years !

This has a good storyline and the characters were familiar. Its interesting how the characters are so different but yet intriguing. I think its time to resolve clan mothers husband issue, otherwise enjoyable read

Dark Rover's Luck, book 95 of I.T. Lucas's The Children of the Gods series is full of wonderful characters. For some learning go trust again will be difficult. For others trust comes more naturally. Great life lessons can be seen in these situations.
