A new string of murders—each echoing a familiar, haunting pattern—forces Agent Adams to confront the chilling the case isn’t over. As she fights to untangle the truth, she realizes they’re all connected. But how far will she go for justice—and what will it cost her?
The focus now shifts to the mystery that has haunted the investigation from the What happened to Charlotte Mercer? The girl who vanished without a trace many years ago. The girl who may hold the final piece of the puzzle.
With time running out and the line between hunter and hunted dangerously thin, finding her grave might be the key to unlocking everything. Or it might bury them all.
THE FINAL STITCH BY THE AMAZING NADIJA MUJAGIC. BOOK 3. 5 huge ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨s. Release date set for the 1st of August 2025. And she goes and does it again.... what a woman 👏 👏 👏 👏. I highly recommend everyone to go buy book 1 and 2 and binge read them because I can tell you your going to be obsessed with these. I haven't read crime thriller/based on true events for a long time and nadijas series has made me fall in love with that genre once again. This 3rd book is dark and spine chilling and its paced just perfectly. Nadijas books are amazing and makes you stay awake till 3am because you need to keep reading just one more chapter. Honestly.... a round of a applause to you. She's a truly lovely and amazing and sweet woman aswel and loves ice-cream just as much as I do 😂. Highly highly recommend this full series. I can't wait for the next one ☺
“The Final Stitch” is the third book in Nadija Mujagic’s gripping series based on true events—and it completely blew me away. The first two books were already dark and emotionally intense, but this one takes things even further. Just when I thought it couldn’t get darker, Mujagic dives deep into the twisted mind of a serial killer, and the result is absolutely chilling. The psychological depth in this book is next level. Mujagic has a way of pulling you into the story and making you feel every moment—no matter how unsettling. I couldn’t stop turning the pages. The entire series has been incredible, but this one might be the most unforgettable. Nadija didn’t hold back with this story, and I’m so glad she chose to tell it. She did it with power, honesty, and a rawness that stays with you. Tackling something this dark isn’t easy, but she handled it with such skill and care. If you haven’t started this series yet, now’s the time. It’s one of the best I’ve read.
The deeper Agent Daisy Adams digs, the darker things get. A new string of murders, each eerily familiar, forces Daisy to face the horrifying truth: this case was never really over. The past has claws, and it’s pulling her straight back in. All roads lead to one missing girl, Charlotte Mercer. Finding out what happened to her might finally solve everything. Or it might destroy everyone trying.
Spillin’ the Book Tea: This is it, y’all. The finale. The big finish. The one where Nadija Mujagic finally gives us answers after leaving me hanging off cliffs for two whole books. Yes, The Final Stitch delivers, and no, I will not tell you how. I’ve suffered long enough to earn that knowledge fair and square.
This series has been a slow burn of obsession for me. Agent Daisy Adams has felt like a friend I’ve been quietly (sometimes loudly) rooting for through every gut punch of this case. The stakes? Ridiculous. The killer? Unhinged. The tension? Enough to make me check my locks twice and remind myself this is fiction. Mostly. Knowing this story was inspired by real events only makes the whole thing crawl under your skin a little deeper.
I kept thinking about Silence of the Lambs while I was reading. Not because the plot is a copy, but because the atmosphere scratches that same eerie itch... dark, tense, full of dread and danger. Every time I thought I had it figured out, Mujagic pulled the rug. Again. The twists are big. The payoff is bigger. My heart rate? Still recovering.
If you haven’t started this series yet, I don’t know what you’re waiting for. The first two books will wreck you. This one will finish the job.
The Vibes It Brings: 🕵️♀️ FBI Agent with trauma 🧩 Twisty cold case connections 💀 Killer with serious Silence of the Lambs energy 📚 Crime rooted in disturbing real-life cases 💔 Characters you worry about way too much 😱 Heart-pounding tension that does not quit 🎢 Plot twists that flip the script over and over 🎙️ Strong female lead not here for your nonsense
TL;DR: The Final Stitch is everything I hoped for in the last book of this series. It’s tense, twisty, and impossible to put down. If you like your thrillers dark, gritty, and rooted in true crime, you’re going to want this on your TBR. Just be prepared. Justice here comes with consequences.
The Final Stitch by Nadija Mujagic 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I was so excited to read the final book in this series and boy is it fantastic! This book is intense, bold, and filled with heart and emotion! I really felt so much with all 3 books, but this being the final one, holds an extra tear. 🥹
Agent Adams is a total kick ass who isn’t going to sit back and let the bad guy win! Not in book 1, 2 and definitely not in book 3! Asher Kline, is a horrific serial killer and his evil wrong doings have caught up with him. There were many chapters where I was ready to jump into the book just to punch him in the face. Knowing that these books are based on real events makes it so much more frightening and scary!
This final book in the series, ties the previous books and their storylines together perfectly. The thread unravels so intensely in this final book. Are the questions are answered? Are the mysteries and murders solved? Definitely the drama and high intensity of the story continues with this book.
The ending nearly knocked me off my chair! Don’t forget to read the authors note at the end!!
3 book series Book 1- The First Thread 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Book 2- The Crimson Knot🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Book 3- The Final Stitch🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
**If you haven’t started this series, run to grab these books!! It’s seriously such an amazing and dark storyline. Once you read the first, you will be racing for the 2nd. Once you read the 2nd, you will be racing for the 3rd! It won’t disappoint! A must read series!**
I can’t stress enough how amazing Nadija Mujagic is as a writer and storyteller!
The Final Stitch was all I knew it would be and more!! Highly recommended
Amazing characters that move fluidly into and out of the words, spiraling into the chapters together!
Daisy is THE GIRL that does not take no for an answer! That’s why FBI claims this woman who travels far and wide in the wake of serial killers BUT ASHER keeps her moving fast and in pursuit of where do these innocent bodies lie?!?? 🩸🩸💀💀💀
Here is where the past and present play out as two killers hold secrets in the cells, from years ago, as the story unfolds and finally comes together here!!
Superb dark psychological thriller that holds the reader to the end, easy but chilling reading as killers wear no face no masks of emotion.
Daisy Adam’s will fight to the end to find closure for these girls, as she herself holds pink fabric and trinkets in slender hand.
As she sheds tears of sorrow ASHER only laughs and kisses the sky with his deranged mind
After finishing The Crimson Knot last night, I opened this book already feeling on edge. This was to be the final piece of the puzzle. I couldn't wait to see what Trevor would reveal to the FBI. Would they believe him? Would his information lead to answers to cases long gone cold? This trilogy grew in suspense as it progressed and didn't leave me disappointed by the end by any means. I also appreciated that Ms. Mujagic explained what true case this trilogy was built on. I had my suspicions, but I liked having the confirmation.
The Final Stitch by Nadija Mujagic is the third and final installment of a true crime thriller trilogy and is such a wonderful way to wrap up the series, and is of course another 5 🌟 read! We once again follow FBI Agent Daisy Adams (as well as a few other POV’s and time jumps), as we conclude our case with our cannibal serial killer (make sure to check your triggers before starting this series).
We get answers about Charlotte Mercer- the missing girl from book one, as well as evidence from cold cases that the FBI hopes to finally solve after many years of unanswered questions and the fracturing hope of grieving families. This is all only possible with the help of “Jesus”, our killer’s former cellmate.
This is probably my favorite book in the series, and I urge everyone to go out and grab all three books at once so you can binge them. This series is of course based off of real people and real events. Upon finishing this series, I now find myself wanting to dig deeper and discover everything I can about the twisted mind of this cold killer. Nadija does a masterful job of piecing together the real events, as well as fabricating a brilliant story that leaves you wanting more. I am grateful to be apart of her ARC team, and I can’t wait for readers to get their hands on this series!
An excellent ending to a three part series. The first two books were amazing, but this final book disturbed me the most. There were several times I got chills while reading this and even had to take a break and get my mind right.
The First Thread follows a case that goes cold about a missing little girl.
The Crimson Knot follows the disappearance of a young lady recently returning home from college.
The Final Stitch follows the investigators as they try to get answers for more unsolved cases they believe are tied to the cases from the previous two books.
Each book changes perspectives between the agent(s) and detectives that are investigating, the killer in prison and "Jesus" (the guy in the cell next to him that he confesses to).
The Final Stitch, as with the rest of the books in this series, doesn’t just pull you into its mystery—it threads you through it, stitch by stitch, until you’re tangled in the same web Agent Adams can’t seem to escape. Since The First Thread, I have had to know what happens next and how this all unfolds.
As with the previous books, this is exceptionally well-written. Mujagic has a rare ability to fully immerse me in the investigation—not just the crime itself, but the emotional turmoil left behind by the long-unsolved mysteries. The pacing is relentless, never letting up on the pulse-pounding urgency of the investigation. And yet, the story never rushes. It’s precise and devastating in all the right ways. That’s what truly stays with you.
Agent Adams is once again a powerhouse of determination and perseverance. The deeper Adams digs, the more it feels like she’s unraveling herself along with the case—and I loved that. She's haunted but not broken, relentless but not reckless. You believe in her because she has to believe she can find answers, even when everything around her is screaming to let it go. And then there's Charlotte Mercer—the missing girl. The name whispered throughout like a curse and a prayer. The ghost from the past that has haunted this entire series. Mujagic handles her story with heartbreaking care and delicacy. She’s not just a missing girl; she’s the axis everything spins around. It never feels exploitative—it feels like the justice being demanded, not just sought by Agent Adams.
The final act? Unwavering truth, consequence, and the bitter ache of unresolved grief meeting a few hard-won answers. Based on true events, this novel feels too real to shake off. The Final Stitch doesn’t just tell a story—it exposes the cost of stitching one back together. And truly—what sets this book (and series) apart is the after. Long after I closed the book, I found myself thinking about it. Never able to shake the story. Now, I need to dig. Immerse myself into all the stories behind the series that inspired Mujagic to write this in the first place. Turning over the real-life roots of the story. Pondering justice, silence, grief. Nadija, you have a gift not just for storytelling, but for crafting narratives that echo in my mind for days, even years. You make me feel the stories. Sit with them. Wrestle with them.
It’s more than a book—more than a series—it’s a journey and I’m honored to have been a part of it.
Y’all! The Final Stitch is the third installment in Nadija Mujagic’s absolutely addictive FBI Agent Daisy Adams series, and I am OBSESSED. All caps. No apologies.
This book is dark, twisty, and based on real-life events, which adds a whole extra layer of oh-my-God-I-have-chills intensity. Fresh details of murders surface, and the details are disturbingly familiar. Daisy’s old nightmare isn’t done with her. And this time, the threads lead back to the coldest of cold cases: Charlotte Mercer, the girl who vanished without a trace.
Nadija Mujagic weaves suspense like she’s tugging you through every chapter with that gotta-know-now urgency. The pacing is flawless. You won’t just turn pages; you’ll devour them. I tore through this book like it was oxygen and I’d been holding my breath since book two.
Let’s talk Daisy Adams—our whip-smart, fearless, deeply layered heroine. Mujagic doesn’t just write Daisy—she builds her from the inside out. She’s real. Relatable. Vulnerable in all the right ways, but tough enough to wade into hell with a flashlight and a file folder. And this time, she’s not just chasing a killer—she’s chasing answers. Closure. Justice.
The supporting cast? Just as sharp. Twists come from every angle, and even when you think you know what’s going on—you don’t.
I’ve been hooked since The First Thread, loved The Crimson Knot, but The Final Stitch? That’s the crown jewel of the series. Mujagic delivers more than plot—she brings the whole storm.
And that ending? Devastating. Beautiful. Perfect.
If you haven’t started this series yet—what are you doing with your life? Seriously. Clear your weekend. Brew some strong coffee. And prepare to lose sleep in the best possible way.
I had the absolute honor of being an Alpha reader for The Final Stitch, the third and final installment in Nadija Mujagic’s gripping true crime-inspired series—and let me just say, WOW. This series is absolutely mind-blowing.
From the very first page of book one, I was completely hooked. I actually saw the original documentary before reading the series, so when I started the first book, I had this eerie déjà vu moment—“Wait a minute… I’ve seen this before.” That realization pulled me in even deeper, and Nadija’s storytelling kept me right there.
This final book is packed with emotion, intensity, and raw power. The journey she takes us on—especially with the character Jesus—had me reeling. His ending? Absolutely incredible. And then there’s Asher. The things that twisted monster did… I still have chills. Nadija wrote those scenes with such vivid, stomach-turning detail, I found myself both horrified and in awe of how masterfully she crafted it all.
What stands out the most is her ability to portray these real-life characters with depth, heart, and just enough fiction to bring the story to life without losing the truth at its core. It’s dark. It’s emotional. It’s brilliant.
If you’re a true crime junkie like I am, this series needs to be on your shelf. Scratch that—preorder it now, because once The Final Stitch drops on August 1st, you’re not going to want to wait a second to dive on in.
HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Don’t miss this one. Nadija Mujagic absolutely nailed it.
I really enjoyed this series! The books need to be read in order, The First Thread, The Crimson Knot and lastly The Final Stitch. Nadija did a great job with this story, based on a true crime.
I found Agent Adams, a FBI agent tasked with solving this crime to be a believable character. She was flawed, suffering from confidence issues at times as well as the effect that her job was having on her daughter. It made her believable and relatable.
Mujagic weaves flashbacks seamlessly into the narrative, revealing the twisted architecture of a killer’s mind by peeling back the layers of his past. Rather than pausing the present-day tension, these glimpses backward are folded into the flow of the story, allowing readers to understand not just what the character has become, but how. The past holding the key to understanding the shame, confusion, and rage that drive his violence. Each flashback arrives at the precise moment a current event triggers it, deepening character development while maintaining momentum. The result is a portrait that feels disturbingly human.
I highly recommend this series, just know you need to read all three books if you want to get all the answers. Well done Nadija!
Wow, just WOW!!! I have just finished this last book in the Agent Daisy Series, I'm still reeling... I consumed this in 48 hours and this Series is one of the BEST I've ever read - and I've read quite a few. Nadija has this incredible talent (I've read a few of her books) for deep descriptions - of character's AND scenes - so much so that I feel like I KNOW the character's intimately and what the current scene looks like. I'm there too, SEEING it, SMELLING it, FEELING it. I'm in awe of your writing.
The emotions I felt in this Series (especially book #3) consumed me completely. I was shocked, confused, angry, incredulous, happy and tearful. It was just spine-chilling brilliance.
I'm going to find that Documentary, I'm not done with the Series yet. I would strongly encourage everyone to experience the Series. I'll be reading it again, that's for sure.
Thank you Nadija from the bottom of my heart, I am definitely going to make my way through the rest of your books ❤️
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Another 5 star read for the final book in this series.
Agent Daisy Adams still at it, trying to find Charlottes killer. Though she has had a promotion, because her boss had retired, she took his job and is as serious as ever.
Though they have figured out who murdered Julia, they are still don’t have any evidence of who did it murdered Charlotte. Agent Adams is determined to find out who it is. They have a good idea who it is, but have to find evidence that will convict this person.
I don’t want to give any spoilers as to ruin it for anyone else, so I will keep this as vague as possible. Charlotte was murdered 14 years ago and surprisingly, the person they think that murdered her is already incarcerated, but doesn’t want to talk.
Will they get him/her to talk? Will they find where Charlotte is buried? Will they get other questions answered? You will have to read to find out! You don’t want to miss the final chapter of Agent Daisy “Dee” Adams.
This was a fantastic finale to the Daisy Adams trilogy—tense, emotional, and deeply compelling. Knowing the story was based on a real case made it hit even harder, and I found myself going back to reread parts with a different lens after finishing the acknowledgments.
The pacing is solid, the stakes are high, and Daisy continues to be a strong, determined, and relatable lead. While I did wish for a few more loose ends to be tied up neatly, I also understand that real life doesn’t always offer perfect closure—and that made this feel even more authentic.
If you’re planning to read this one, don’t skip the author’s note at the end. It adds depth and real-world weight to the entire series. This book—and the trilogy as a whole—is one I’ll be thinking about for a while.
First of all, I want to thank the author for the incredible privilege of being part of the ARC team and for being credited in the final book of this trilogy. It truly is an honour!
This final book marks the culmination of a story based on real events (with a documentary available on HBO Max), and we finally get answers to all the questions raised in the previous books. Agent Adams is closer than ever to the truth, but she begins to lose her footing — her courage wavers, and the deep mistrust in everyone involved causes her to lose objectivity, often leading her to act with her heart rather than her head. In the end, everything works out (or does it?), but the traumatic experience of facing an unrelenting monster leaves its mark.
Beautifully written, this trilogy absolutely deserves my recommendation, if only for how faithfully it honours the real life case that inspired the story, and for the personal touch the author brings to the characters and the elements that make this story uniquely hers.
Please, if you get the chance, read it! Nadija Mujagic is a brilliant author of domestic and psychological thrillers, and she’s firmly in my top list of favourite authors.
@bibliotecamil_insta
The Final Stitch by Nadija Mujagic is a dark and gripping thriller, based on true events, that will leave you breathless. As a disturbing pattern of murders unfolds, long-buried secrets rise to the surface, tying past and present together in chilling ways. With twists you won’t see coming and a mystery that cuts deep, this is a haunting and unforgettable read that lingers long after the final page.
This is book 3 of a series, and what a way to wrap it up! This is a dark, dark story and I loved every minute of it. Definitely hard to read in places unless you are soulless as am I. This ends things exactly the way they do in real life, some wrapped up and some leaving you hanging. It is based on real life and there is a great blurb at the end not to be missed. Great series, not one to be missed!
Each book of this trilogy has been 5 stars for me, but I wish I could give this one 100 stars. Nadijia Mujagic has created a masterpiece here, and she has become an automatic must-read author for me. Based on a true story, this book has true crime vibes as well as being a true psychological thriller. You'll get a peek into the mind of both law enforcement and a serial killer and it will stay with you long after the last page.
I finished reading The Final Stitch last night, just before midnight. I had to finish it before going to bed. The Final Stitch is the 3rd and Final book of the series. It is based on a real life cross dressing, cannibalistic serial k!ller. The Final Stitch dots the I's and crosses the T's to round out this amazing series! Once you've read The First Thread, you'll want to jump right in to The Crimson Knot, so you'll probably want to grab all 3 at once!
I couldn’t put this down. What starts as a missing person case in the first one turns into something much deeper and darker. Agent Adams is such a compelling lead. She is flawed, relentless, and easy to root for. The mystery around Charlotte Mercer gave me chills, and the twists genuinely surprised me. Loved how everything tied together in the final stitch. If you enjoy atmospheric thrillers with strong writing and layered characters, this one’s a must-read.
The Final Stitch was a gripping conclusion to an incredible true-crime trilogy. Without giving too much away, since this is the third book, let’s just say it centers around one truly twisted family. As someone who’s always been fascinated by serial killers, I was blown away by how well the author captured both the people involved and the chilling story itself. After watching the documentary, I have to say the author did an amazing job bringing it all to life on the page.
The gripping, suspenseful ending you’ve been waiting for is here! The final book in the Daisy Adams series is everything it needed to be, it’s “un-put-downable” and fast paced. This book was heart wrenching - the stories of these victims are tragic and they deserve to be told and brought to light. The killer in this book is truly unhinged and Nadija has a way of bringing his creepiness to real life inciting raw reactions. This story is bold and intense and Nadija does an amazing job stitching all the pieces together. This entire series is a must add to your TBR - you won’t regret it!
I read this in a day, I couldn't put it down, I had to finish the series!! I was not disappointed. This book sums up the Charlotte murder and shines light on just how crude Asher is. Along with "Jesus's" help, FBI agent Daisy Adams is able to bring closure, but leaves more mystery behind.
I enjoyed this story based on a true story. I had never heard of this case until I read this book. I'm glad the pieces started fitting together to try and find Charlotte the missing child. As the thread come together for it to become the final stitch you learn more about the cases involved.
I loved how this closed out the story. It still had moments that’s made me laugh but it helped heal my heart from all the hurt from the other two. To finally find the closure of Kline and his crimes made reading his madness worth it. I enjoyed every minute of it and didn’t want to put it down
The Final Stitch is the final book in the trilogy, following Agent Adams as she is determined to find justice for the missing girls. Based on true events. This is a suspenseful and chilling story. Do yourself a favor and get this trilogy!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ WOW! I'm finally breathing! This book kept me turning pages well into the night 🌙 and creeeeepyyyy 😈 Grabs a hold and doesn't let go! Very good book!! I love this author and will be reading more from her. Great work Nadija 💜🩷💜🩷
