This book is another fine offering in the series "One Hundred Paintings", this time featuring Botticelli and his work, "Allegory of Spring". Like the other books, this one is lavishly illustrated with both closeups of the featured work, and presents other pieces created in the artist's career. An excellent introduction to Botticelli.

I can't believe I've never noticed the flowers flowing out of Chloris' mouth on the right side of the painting. I am so excited about seeing this painting in the Uffizi!
