paranormal mystery
A wrap up to the series but no real ending, it felt like there was a book missing between four and five. The slow burn romance between the sheriff and the heroine never made it past the tiniest of sparks, ditto the warlock. Who her familiar had been, wasn’t disclosed. Where was her aunt’s familiar? More questions about her mother with no answers, good witch or bad? Where did the brother go, she only met one niece and then she fell out of the story. Shouldn’t there been more about the curse ending, the original witches get a chance to a face to face, the apology for the curse, the cause of the curse and problems required to face the consequences? Too many dropped threads in my opinion.

Engrossing
This book had unusual to me magic that I enjoyed very much. The people and location are engaging and fun to visit with. I especially loved the ending!

Loved the whole series
Reading the series in full was great. It gave me a better view of the growth and interaction of the characters as they moved through life.

The origin of the curse
This book deals with the origin, the events leading up to the curse generations ago. Also some misfired of Addie's magic.
