So, he's shown a little of his insanity over the years in moving to colder, wetter places: New York City; Provo, Utah; Bainbridge Island, WA. He now resides with his family in Texas, which (apart from the humidity) gives him that great weather once again.
Skyler has been and continues to be a leader and executive with multiple Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies, working across a variety of functions, both technical and non-technical. In other words, he's very much a jack-of-all-trades but master of none. Maybe that's why he has now decided to be an author as well. In it, he’s finally found the thing he loves to do most.
Mr. Ramirez currently resides in Texas with his wife, Lindsey, and their four children.

Excellent short story. Skyler Ramirez always delivers.
I don't know where this guy gets his storytelling talents from, but I have been impressed with all of his stories so far. They are funny and full of action, with a deep sense of humanity and empathy. That is rare in modern sci-fi writers.
I am in my 50s and have read hundreds of science fiction books since I was a kid. From the mid 1980s up until now, I have tried dozens of different science fiction authors, from Frank Herbert to Alan Dean Foster and many more heavy hitters in the industry. Now, I am enjoying Skyler Ramirez's books immensely.
I really hope he keeps on writing and finds more success with it. Maybe a Hollywood movie or two.

Excellent
But not his usual good reading.... Filled with blood and guts, death and destruction... Booring!!! well, what's next... Guess I'll just have to find another author. I only gave it 5 stars to honor the work the author put in writing it.
