When humanity plays god, the consequences are beyond control. NYX-1427 was meant to be the perfect bioweapon—a silent killer, undetectable, unstoppable. But in the depths of a government lab, something went wrong. Then came a laboratory break-in. And now, the infection is loose. Andy Solbright never asked to be a survivor. One moment, he was living an ordinary life—the next, the world was crumbling around him. Cities fell. Society shattered. People turned into something else. Now, with every breath, every step, every decision, Andy is forced to fight against the nightmare that was never meant to exist. But the infection is evolving, adapting. The deeper he searches for answers, the clearer it becomes—this was never an accident. And he is running out of time. Eclipsar is a relentless, pulse-pounding thriller where survival is just the beginning. When the truth is more terrifying than the outbreak itself, how far will you go to stop it?
Eclipsar absolutely blew me away. From the first page, I was hooked. The idea of a secret bioweapon going rogue isn't new, but Blake Varnadoe takes it to a whole new level. The pacing is intense, the atmosphere is genuinely creepy, and the main character, Andy, feels incredibly real. You’re right there with him as everything falls apart and the tension just keeps building.
What I really loved was how the story doesn’t just focus on survival. It digs into deeper questions about who’s really behind the outbreak and why. Just when you think you understand what’s going on, another layer gets pulled back. And the infection itself? It evolves in terrifying ways.
If you're into fast-paced thrillers with a sci-fi twist and just enough emotional depth to keep you invested, this is 100% worth your time. I honestly couldn’t stop reading. Highly recommend!
