Here’s what stood out to me: a practical structure that doesn’t expect perfection, clear and motivating advice for any starting point, a focus on steady progress instead of quick fixes, and the idea of creating your own Pizza (if you know, you know!).
Whether you’re new to wellness or have been at it for a while, this book can help you pause and refocus, so you don’t get distracted by all the hype out there.
As a former Hospital Pharmacist, I found Ashley's book to contain excellent advice for the general population. Ashley does a fabulous job of breaking down the science into practical steps leading toward steady progress. She gives empowering advice that is needed when discussing medications. She understands what Americans are up against in our ultra-processed landscape and encourages us to take agency for our health. I learned that I'm a hose and how to become a sponge, highly recommend this resource!
