This is my review of Sufficient Force, a Severin Force Political Thriller, written by Marcus Paul Cootsona, which I received via AuthorsXP. I note that I read and review numerous genres and High Action is not usually a top choice, but in this case, I am happy to have selected – Sufficient Force for review.
Having not read any previous books by Paul Cootsona, I had no pre-conceived knowledge of his writing style or the main character, Severin Force.
Overalls – I did initially struggle with the writing style and format, but felt it was written more as a visual - playwright/action video movie theme, than a ‘story’.
For action, adventure and ever changing and upward tension, Sufficient Force had it all – at times the list of characters became a bit confusing, but if you are into drama/action and tension, Severin Force and his cohorts and nemesis’s have it all.
Fitness and fighting experts excel in beating the threat and saving the President – with Severin managing to dodge political minefields as well as physical threats.
The story appeared more ‘scene’ based, jumping from one – event – to the next – with little blending of the story line.
I would recommend this book for those to enjoy ongoing action, danger and fight scenes, political espionage and intrigue.
* Thank you to AuthorXP for letting me read this book. I leave this review voluntarily and the expressed opinions are my own.

Action packed domestic terror thriller
A fast paced read, cyber-terror with unknown threats and unknown targets make for a twisting and turning mystery with a high body count.
Who is good and who is bad? There are a lot of different players and trying to figure out who is who and what their role is, kept my attention. There are distractions, disruptions, diversions, riddles and puzzles along with some quirky dialogue. I was engaged in the book from beginning to end, and love the main character, Severin Force, he is one of the most aware operators I have read in a long time. Book two of a series with a ‘to be continued’ ending. I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed.

A Force is unleashed into the world of intrigue and suspense. Those who mess with the phones and computers are about to get their comeuppance. For a little comic relief from the intensity of the novel, check out the chapter titles. Fascinating characters, devilishly good story.

3.8 i do question some of the vocabulary but this was a fun thriller. This is the first book I read in the series and it stands alone nicely. I will be looking for the first in the series and hoping for more. Plenty of interesting characters and some bits of lethal silliness

I found this book a bit different from his other books I’v read. Still lots of action and plot twists, but a bit more playful humor in his situation and character names. Worth checking out.
