Alexia Torres dreams of hanging her own shingle. Working as an attorney at a small, private firm makes her a good living, but she’s had enough of the hand-me-down cases the partners don’t want. Except, with a father in prison and a drug-addict brother, putting family first has its own price tag. She can’t afford to go her own way.
That is, until a custody battle changes the trajectory of her entire life.
Jed “Wrangler” Barker is the hottest client Alexia has ever met. He’s also a Wild Stallion and unlike any man who exists in her orbit. When he shows up at her office to fight for his kids, their mutual attraction is instant. Wrangler makes it very clear he intends to redefine the meaning of attorney-client privilege just as soon as they win his case.
And that’s not the only offer on the table, seeing as the Stallions are in the market for a new general counsel.
But when her brother’s poor life choices bring the drug cartel to her door, things get complicated. Just when she’s on the cusp of having everything she’s ever wanted, Alexia becomes a target.

This is book 2 in the Wild Stallions series. I loved everything about this book. Once again I was hooked and couldn't put it down. I may have lost sleep over it but that was okay because it was worth it. Jed MMC is a client who is all for his attorney FMC Alexis. From the details, the spice, and the characters I loved everything about it. This is another favorite book this year.
This was exactly what I was looking for! A sweet steamy read with low romantic angst but a little danger.
💕 No third act breakup. 🗣️ Communication. These two were the best! Wondering if he wants kids? She asks! Gets kidnapped and is scared? She tells him. He is no bullshit/no games. He answers every question straight; never gives her a reason to question his intentions. 👩🏻🤝👨🏼. Alexia is a 33 yr old attorney who takes care of her family and is looking for more in her life and work. She’s strong and independent without being annoying about it. Jed (Wrangler) is a 39 yr old dad of 2 kids who meets Lex when he hires her to be his attorney in a custody dispute w his ex. He is also a key member of a motorcycle club. He takes one look at her and is smitten - and tells her. Lol. He is a man of few words and even tempered. ⚡️ It is insta attraction for both. But what I loved is that they each have the personalities and maturity to back it up. She’s smart, tough and beautiful. He’s strong, loyal, and honest. It all happens quickly, but I also believed it. 🧨. Good spice throughout. He saves her life, she kisses him and the sparks fly. They don’t pretend or fight it; they own it and are all in. 🫣. No OW/OM drama. They each have pasts but nothing that comes into play. He has an ex who he was w for 10 yrs but hey split 6 yrs before they meet. She’s annoying but not a problem. They each only have eyes for the other. 👥. Dual POV. This was a bit off putting bc Lex’s POV was first person but Jed’s was third person. Idk why the author did this, but it’s not my favorite. HEA; engagement, married and pregnant in epilogue 10 months later.
The story is about these two very seemingly different people falling in love and then their worlds becoming intertwined. She does an amazing job on his custody case and is asked to be the counsel for the club.
The drama in the story comes from forces outside the couple - her drug addict brother who is in debt to the cartel and the ex counsel for the motorcycle club who separately comes after her. She is kidnapped multiple times, shot at, etc. Jed is right there with her through everything.
I really loved how the author respected these characters and let them be smart, honest and open with each other. The supporting characters were also well thought out - his club brothers/wives and her sister, twin brother and mami.
Dropped a star 🌟 bc - the switch between different POV - I wanted more of Jed’s POV. We get mostly Lexs and at times it feels like she’s really laying it out here for him and I wanted to see that from him as well. He does, but just in his own way, I guess. I don’t have any doubt in his feelings for her; just wanted to hear it a little more at times.
Tropes: - insta attraction - huge tatted motorcycle guy/beautiful smart attorney - small western town (I think lol) - cartel/danger (kidnapping, shot at, bad guy unalived) - drug abuse (sibling) - kids (9 and 11; his) and typical terrible ex. - close proximity - she moves in w him after the shooting - protection - he and the brothers protect her after kidnapping
Favorite parts - whenever he called her cute or “darlin’” - she called him Papi and he went nuts lol - how he would hold her hand everywhere especially in the beginning - when she walked into the club in her pencil skirt and owned it - how he loves how smart and capable she is And finds it insanely sexy - how she sees him immediately for the good guy that he is and doesn’t judge him by his long hair and tattoos - when she stands up to her mom and defends him in her moms home and again when she stands up to his ex at his daughters birthday party - how he comes to her rescue every time - when he gathers the gang after the 1st kidnapping, when she tells him about the 2nd, and when he comes running when her apt is shot up. He’s always there and she allows herself to trust him and his protection.

I.am.FERAL For this man. Like bury me with this book because I love him so much.
If you love an MC book with all the club drama, a gorgeous, intelligent FMC and a giant alpha biker with tattoos and a heart of gold, this is the book for you. If you don’t like these things…please hit up my DMs, I need to have a word with you 🤨
Alexia Torres is the pillar of her family. Trying to keep a roof over everyone’s heads, her brother on the straight and narrow whilst navigating her job as a lawyer so is almost at breaking point. Jed Barker cares for two things. His club and his kids. So when his ex wife threatens to change their custody arrangements he lands in Alexia’s office ready to fight. Little did he know that he would be taking on an even bigger fight in protecting and loving Alexia.
Jed you absolute smoke show of a dream boat. I love you, I love you, I love you. He is ride or die for Alexia from day 1. There was nothing that he was going to let stand in his way from having her and god damn…does he have her. So hot. So protective. So thoughtful and loving. He is the sweetest dad with Marlowe and Axel. I adored his relationship ships with them and he was just content on letting them be themselves and building them a solid family.
Alexis was an absolute bombshell. In looks and personality, she was strong, poised and classy whilst still being fun and vivacious. I admired her strength in trying to keep her family calm and balanced however I loved when she finally put people into their place when she couldn’t hold up the walls any longer. The girl group that she surrounds herself with is such a highlight for me. Seeing women support other women in such a loving way was exactly what we need to see. Whilst she always had Jed as her strength, she could also lean on others shoulders.
There is all your good MC drama mixed in, with some fantastic spice and a delicious HEA that has you kicking your feet in glee.
I loved Jed, it’s so refreshing to see a guy knowing what he wants from the first moment. That is what I loved about Maverick too! Annie has made both of her bikers a girls dream come true.
Jed is ride or die for Alexia from day one. The way he protects her is so awesome. He was ready to go to war just for Alexis😭❤️❤️ literally gave me butterflies✨ And don’t even get me started on how good of a dad that man is. The way he supports his kids in being themselves and the way he dealt with Marlowe’s queries was so so sweet.
Alexis is an absolute bombshell. In looks and personality, she was strong, poised and classy whilst still being fun and vivacious. I admired her strength in trying to keep her family calm and balanced, however, I loved seeing her finally put people into their place too. Alsooooo she calls everyone in the club by their names and they all just let her😭😭 how sweet is that???
Also, I loved catching glimpses of Maverick and Jenna!!! Even though I loved this book so much but those two are my babies and are still my favourite!
The book has good drama, a hot biker with tattoos, and an absolutely gorgeous and smart attorney. What else do you need?
Thank you to Torch Lit Ink and Author Annie Winston for the ARC ✨
‘Ridin’ true’ is another great story in the ‘Wild Stallion MC’ series. I’m really enjoying this MC series, there’s action but nothing dark, it has a good balance between romance and action. For new readers, I recommend reading the previous stories before reading this story.
Alexia is an attorney and Wrangler is her newest client. Wrangler has two children, 11 year old Marlowe and 9 year old Axel. He and his ex-wife are co-parenting. Everything was going well until recently, when his ex-wife got married and now wants full custody of their children. Wrangler is ready to fight for his children, but he (and the Wild Stallions MC) need a new attorney. Alexia gets the chance for both. But first she must win Wrangler’s case.
In the office Alexia has everything under control. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case in her personal life. Her twin brother Alejandro has a drugs addiction and is now also in trouble with the drug cartel. The cartel’s bad guys look to Alexia to pay her brother’s debts. Soon things become very dangerous for Alexia. Luckily she can count on the help of Wrangler and his MC brothers. Wrangler has no intention of letting Alexia go after she wins his case. He knows that she’s the one for him and he will do everything he can to win her over and protect her from danger.
Wrangler was a secondary character in the previous books but Alexia was a new character. The main characters were both in their thirties and very mature. From the beginning there’s chemistry between Alexia and Wrangler but because Wrangler was a client of Alexia, they didn’t act on their feelings. But as soon as it was ‘allowed’, there were fireworks between these two. Wrangler was a wonderful dad. He cared deeply for his children and was there when they needed him. His ex-wife was not so nice. Even after all those years apart, she still wanted to hurt Wrangler by taking his children.
Alexia was a great character. She was intelligent, ambitious, she knew what she wanted in life and worked very hard to get it. The little free time she had, she spent with her family. She had a twin brother Alejandro, who sadly had a drug addiction, which caused problems not only for him but also for Alexia. She also had a younger sister Isabella (Bella) and a six year old niece Ellie. Alexia supported her family in many ways. She was a wonderful daughter, sister and aunt. But sometimes she was also very lonely. She had no friends. So it was nice to see the women of Wrangler’s MC brothers welcome her into their midst. They became her new friends. For Alexia, it was new to have someone to lean on, who took care of her and to have girlfriends to talk to. I’m so glad that she got all that. Wrangler needed a good woman and that was Alexia for him. His children loved her too. She was great with them.
The story was told in both POV’s and there were sex scenes in it. I loved the epilogue and I can’t wait to read more stories in this MC series!
Thank you to Annie Winston for the ARC opportunity. I adored your book, your characters and this series this far.
So the first thing to say, if you read no further - simply just buy this book. It’s amazing, it’s beautiful and it’s a template for how relationships should happen. Like all of Annie’s books. So if you haven’t read Ridin’ Wild, read it, and then pre-order Ridin’ True ready for its release on 6th May.
There is loads of plot in this book to keep you interested, but the drama in this book doesn’t come from the romance, and it was so refreshing to be honest. The development of the relationship between Alexia (the FMC) and Jed (the MMC) is straightforward. They are two people who like each other, they decided to date, their relationship grows. Annie always writes characters who are 30+ years of age and you can tell in the writing of Alexia and Jed, as well as their love story. It is a little more sensible, straight forward with some mature outlooks concerning relationships. It doesn’t mean their relationship is easy (in fact they have a fair few complications to overcome) but you don’t get some of the dramas and third act break-ups that you see elsewhere. There is still plenty of things going on but just without some of the unnecessary theatrics.
Without being a gushing ‘I love Annie Winston’ review, big shout out for how Annie writes her books - it’s different. She describes them as dual-ish points of view books. They mainly focus on the FMC’s POV, with added in sections of the MMC. The FMC’s are written in the first person and the MMC’s in the third and I loved this in her book. We read about Alexia’s (the FMCs) story and get a sprinkling of Jed’s. I adored Jed, but it was nice to see Alexia as front and centre in the story (and I bet Jed would like that too).
The characters in this book are amazing. Men will forever be compared with Jed by all that read Ridin’ True and he is the benchmark for all good guy MMC’s. Amazing dad, all round nice guy but hugely protective of Alexia but without the drama. when he decides he likes her he put it out there and is not afraid to share his feelings. Alexia loves him and so do we. Alexia as the FMC is equally as good. Huge caretaker in her family, working hard to further her career and really relatable. Like Jed, she is straight forward - she dates him, she likes him, she tells him. So refreshing.
So in summary, read this book, read the series and join me in waiting eagerly for book 3 coming out in July 2025.
𝓡𝓲𝓭𝓲𝓷' 𝓣𝓻𝓾𝓮 ~Wild Stallions Series Book 2 By Annie Winston ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oh. My. GOSH. Annie where do I even start with this book? It was simply AMAZING from page one! I was already obsessed with the first book in the Wild Stallions series, and this one? Just as addictive if not more!
I was hooked. Annie has such a talent for weaving romance, suspense, drama, and that irresistible MC biker world into something that’s both raw and heart-melting. The way she tells a story it grabs you and doesn’t let go.
Let’s talk about Jed aka Wrangler. He is everything. Protective, loyal, supportive, and so in tune with Alexia he puts her on the pedestal she DESERVES. He hypes her up, stands beside her, and never once questions that they’re meant to be.
And when she didn’t respond to his text? He dropped everything to find her. That moment? That was it. I was gone. Completely in love.
Alexia is smart, strong, fiercely loyal to her family, and totally deserving of her place as one of the Stallions’ ol’ ladies. I loved watching her navigate her feelings she hadn’t dated in a while, was unsure at first but Jed’s quiet intensity kept pulling her in.
The spice? Oh YES, it’s there. And it’s delicious. Intense, emotional, and perfectly written. That mix of heat and heart that makes your soul ache in the best way.
What I appreciated the most? No unnecessary drama. Just two adults being honest about their feelings from the very beginning. That kind of emotional maturity is rare in romance and SO satisfying.
Annie paints the MC world beautifully not just the rough, gritty edges, but the deep love, loyalty, and found family at its core. Jed’s bond with his brothers, his kids, and now Alexia it’s what makes this story so full and fulfilling.
This book had everything romance, spice, family, loyalty, and just the right amount of edge. I loved absolutely everything about it.
I'm already counting down the days until the next Wild Stallions book drops!
💰ℝ𝕀𝔻𝕀N’ 𝕋ℝ𝕌𝔼 ℝ𝔼𝕍𝕀𝔼𝕎💰 . . . 𝕋ℝ𝕆ℙ𝔼𝕊: ⚡️MC Romance ⚡️Attorney FMC x Mechanic MMC ⚡️Open Door Spice ⚡️Found Family ⚡️Single Dad ⚡️Forced Proximity ⚡️Insta-Lust-To-More . . ℝ𝔸𝕋𝕀N𝔾: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . . 𝕊ℙ𝕀ℂ𝔼: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ . . Dear Jed, Love me. Choose me. PICK ME. I know Alexia is great & all but I just know you and I would be a much better fit. . . Annie Winston does it again y’all! Her knack for making us absolutely SWOON over these biker badasses…I swear it’s top tier. Jed Wrangler…oh Jeddie boy. Give me a guy who’s a complete savage when it comes to fighting for his kids and you will find me FOAMING at the mouth. I mean who wouldn’t? Alexia Torres sure as hell would. Not only will she do that but she will be responsible solely for making sure said kids are not taken away from said biker man. Alexia being the strong & fierce lawyer that she is, shows up to not only let Jed know what she’s capable of, but his baby mama too. Which I LOVE that for her. We love a queen who can stick it to an entitled BIOTCH! Aside from the instant gratification that comes with getting your way, as a lawyer, Alexia also finds herself being presented with an amazing opportunity that will help her reach her dream of owning her own firm. As one would assume, getting into bed (literally & figuratively) with an MC, there comes some not so great backlash. Our FMC finds out real quickly just how far Jed will go to ensure her safety…& not just because he needs her in the court room. More like he needs her in HIS room. In HIS bed. In his HOME. & most importantly in his HEART. They were both goners the moment he walked into her office that first day to inquire about her services and boy was it a wild ride from there! I loved every single minute of this book and Jed and Alexia’s story. It’s not only the love story, it’s the family dynamic that comes along with it. If you haven’t picked up Ridin’ Wild yet, you NEED to because after that, you need to immediately pick up Ridin’ True! . . Thank you from the bottom of my heart @annie.winston_author for trusting me with your book babies & allowing me to be apart of your ARC team. It’s truly and honor and a privilege🙏🏽🤍
Oh my, this book was SO SO SO good I LOVED it so much. This is what romance books should all be, so much swoon, so much sweetness, external angst, just perfection. I had the best time reading Ridin True, I didn't want it to end. We have another fast-paced read, it was action packed, I really do love the found family as well, it's done so beautifully. I am just so glad I picked this series up. The spice in these books has been so good, it's so well balanced, but gonna have to convince Annie a stache riding bonus scene is needed, lol.
Jed, our MMC, what a man, his care taking of Alexia was so hot, I just love when a man is all in, no wobbles, loves his women and won't let her go. He would definitely be the type of guy to get a d*ick tattoo for his women (which is my and Amy's yard stick of how obsessed a MMC is) that's how good he is. I loved all of Jed and Lex little moments together it was just so sweet.
Alexia, our FMC, was a really strong woman and was so fierce. She protected her family and took a lot in stride. There was only one 'why would you do that' moment, but she owned it, so it was easy to get over. I really loved the friendships she started to make with the other women, and I really hope to see more scenes like this in the next book.
You know there are just times when I am wanting to read an insta love romance. I love that it gets right to it and the characters don’t second guess themselves. Wrangler (Jed) & Alexia were just that. She fell first but he fell harder, love that so much.
Wrangler is a single dad to two totally different kids. When his ex tries to change things up with his visitation after she gets married, he is in need of a lawyer to help make sure he can still see his kids his normal amount of time. He was not expecting to walking into said lawyers office to see the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. And what he says to her this first meeting will make you swoon that is for sure!
Alexia has had a tough life, well not too crazy but she is always carrying the burden of her families problems in her shoulders. She wishes she could find someone that will take care of her and carry her problems. Little did she know when Jed walks into her office, she was meeting the man that would do exactly that for her. I mean the first suspense we get with her in the story he comes to save the day and he just met her like 3 days ago! Again talk about swoon with Jed!
The twists and suspense in their love story is just too good. But what I loved the most was their love for each other and how quickly it happens. When you know you know! . . . 4️⃣.7️⃣5️⃣⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 9/10 recommendation
Listen. I thought I loved Maverick. Didn’t think it could get any better than him. Then I met Wrangler. To quote Tess “ I love it when a badass biker goes soft over his woman.”
I LOVE when Annie writes a big bad biker man. The writing is, as usual, amazing. I knew from shortly after starting it was going to be 5 stars. The depth and chemistry with the characters is at an all time high. Jed and Alexia are made for each other. It takes a strong woman to partner with a biker and Alexia is classy, strong, smart, and the perfect match for Jed. She was holding on to a lot, always being the strong one, always the one to hold up others and Jed was there to help her with the weight.
If you’re looking for a little bit of everything (family, loyalty, romance, spice, drama, action) all wrapped up in a book-candy sized novel, pick up Ridin’ True. Seriously, you’re going to LOVE Jed “Wrangler” Barker.
While you’re at it make sure to read Ridin’ Wild, because Maverick still has a little part of my heart too. 🖤
Annie Winston has done it again. She absolutely blew me away with this book! She has been teasing us with Jed being her favorite mmc and now I get it.
This man had me absolutely giddy with excitement and hanging onto every single word. A sexy single dad who knows what he wants and just goes for it. The sunglasses, the biker mustache, the coveralls, the freckles, the way he takes care of the ones he loves, seriously this man has moved himself to the top of my favorite motorcycle mmcs.
Alexia was such a fun character as well. I loved getting to see both the strong and dominant woman who was a badass lawyer but also the vulnerable and lonely woman who was so focused on work and providing for her family but she wasn’t really living.
I really loved getting to watch Jed as a dad. He is so clearly absolutely adores his children and was such a good dad.
But when Jed and Alexia are together 💥. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other and I loved it. The passion between these two will leave you sweating.
This book has it all. An incredible love story, great MC supporting characters, club drama, cute kids, fantastic spice, and relatable family issues.
Thank you Annie Winston for the opportunity to receive an arc of this book. I can’t wait for more people to experience Jed Barker.
Thank you Annie for allowing me to read your amazing ARC.
You have done it again with another stunning Stallion!
If you haven’t read about Maverick or Mustang yet, you need to! Wrangler (or Jed) is another top tier MMC. Annie, you know how to write them to make us swoon.
Jed (Wranglwr) is a member of the Wild Stallions motorcycle club and he needs legal help. His ex is trying to take his kids away from him, out of spite and he wants to stop her. Jed and the Stallions are the ultimate protectors, and when someone they care about is threatened they all have your back. They’re a family.
Alexia (Lex) is a lawyer who specialises in family law - mostly as her boss doesn’t want to. She is stuck in a job, that she loves, yet doesn’t push her. Jed storms into her orbit and takes her on a wild ride to freedom.
It’s not so easy, there are many bumps in the road, can they overcome together?
This story is amazing, I have loved this series and don’t want it to end! Can’t wait for the last Stallion to whisk me off my feet!
Annie Winston... You are a magical MMC master (actually, all characters, you are a character-creating master)! Y’all! The MMC, Jed, is truly exceptional. He may appear rough around the edges as a motorcycle club enforcer and mechanic, but beneath that tough exterior lies a wonderful father who is deeply attuned to his womans's needs (all of them *wink wink*). Our FMC, Alexia, feels like someone I could easily be friends with. She is smart and compassionate, and she loves her family, flaws and all, while displaying incredible tenacity. This was a swift and thoroughly enjoyable five-star read for me. It kicks off with excitement and maintains that pace throughout. It's the perfect story to immerse yourself in and just swoon over. The spice is absolutely perfect too! What more could a girl ask for? Amazing characters... check... a plot that flows seamlessly and swiftly... check... spicy spice... check!
Thanks, Annie, for the ARC in exchange for an honest and fair review!
Just the right amount of romance, just the right amount of action, just the right amount of found family…just the right mix for a motorcycle club romance! The plot was engaging and suspenseful, including but not entirely focused on, a beautiful romance. The main character’s connection was built on time, care and empathy, with a little bit of lust and spice. I enjoyed the writing style, focusing mainly on a first person FMC PoV but also including parts of the MMC in third person PoV. The dialect and mannerisms of the characters added to the realism of the story. Alexia is a strong, confident, driven lawyer with the weight of her extended family’s troubles on her shoulders. Jed is a single father fighting for what is best for his children. A man of few words but full of acts of love. Five stars for Jed alone, but together, goodness…they were dynamic. Looking forward to more of the Wild Stallions in the future! 4.5 stars Thanks to the author and Torch Lit for the eARC.
Another Wild Stallion, another awesome book from Annie.
Alexia is a pit bull and I loved her so much. She is a lawyer and is hella smart, working hard to one day have her own law firm. She grew up without her dad who is in prison and a twin brother who is a drug addict. Because of her brother's actions, she finds herself in some trouble. Thankfully, she has someone to come save her and protect her.
Jed, AKA Wrangler, is a single dad to two kiddos and a part of the Wild Stallions MC. He is an amazing dad and a protector at heart. His custody battle with his ex leads him to Alexia’s office for help.
Their connection was instantaneous and both could feel the pull of desire from their first meeting. The chemistry between Lex and Jed was hot and the spice was even hotter. I enjoyed the fact that Alexia always had faith in Jed and that the club would always be there to back her up. I also really loved that Jed ALWAYS stood up for her and his loyalty never waned. He is truly such a green flag and I adored Jed Barker.
I loved how Alexia was a baddie lawyer who was amazing at her job and stood up for herself! She never backed down when confronted, even if she didn't like to be confrontational sometimes. Jed was the picture perfect father any kid would be so lucky to have, and when is ex woman was trying to have him spend less time with his kids, he was having none of it. Needing a lawyer, he was recommended to Alexia, and it was sparks at first sight. BUT. She drew the line and had to keep it professional. But once the mediation was done, all lines in the sand were blurred! There were some kidnapping moments, (thanks to Alexia's twin brother) the meet the kid moments which were cute and funny, and their undeniable love and affection for each other. I could not put this book down, and I'm not mad about it!
Another great addition to the Annie Winston catalog, a great balance of romance, action, and found family. Jed is our Stallion, Club Enforcer, and devoted father. Alexia is our lawyer, strong, confident, but ready for a change. She loves her family, they are not perfect, and her twin gets her into some hot water.
As Jed needs a lawyer, Alexia is the one to help him keep his custody agreement. The underlying currents begin, but not until he settles the matter with his kids. As the danger finds Alexia, it looks like Jed/Wrangler is the one to save her.
I finished this book much too quickly, and now I need to wait for the next one. I am in love with this author’s writing, she has quickly moved into one click status.
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
Ridin’ True Book 2 in The Wild Stallion Series Rating: 4.5⭐️ Spice: 2🌶️
This is my second book by Annie and y’all I am HOOKED! From the very first page, the drama had me locked in, the suspense kept me turning pages, and the spice?! Whew, the heat was unreal! Every time Wrangler kissed Alexia, I swear I felt it down to my toes! Like weak in the knees kinda chemistry! Wrangler is everything I love in a romance hero: sweet, protective, and totally devoted to Alexia. Alexia is a total badass! Strong, smart, independent-exactly what a powerhouse lawyer should be. These two together can burn the house down.I loved getting to see more of the Stallions and how their families are growing! It added so much depth which made me even more invested since I am a sucker for found family! I’m 100% continuing this series and highly recommend it to anyone craving a gripping, steamy motorcycle romance!
Tropes •motorcycle romance •mechanic/lawyer •single dad •suspense •found family
Ummm… where to start with this book? It is simply AMAZING! I was hooked from the start, I loved the first book in the wild stallions series and this book was no different! This book had me hooked lined and sunked. I absolutely love the way Annie writes her stories, this book is full of romance, mc bikers, suspense, drama, it had me sitting on the edge of my seat in parts and giggling like a school girl in others. I want myself a Jed! I absolutely loved the characters and the storylines for the characters, Jed and Alexia’s relationship is so cute the way it blossoms throughout the book and how caring and loving Jed is. I love the fire and confidence Alexia shows throughout the book. This is definitely a book you need to add to your tbr and make your next read, you won’t regret it!
Annie always knocks it out of the park with her MMCs. Jed, otherwise known as Wrangler, puts Alexia up on the pedestal she deserves to be on. He supports her and always is there to hype her up when she needs a confidence boost. There is never any hesitation on his part that they should be together.
Alexia is smart and capable and is huge on family. It is no wonder that she is attracted to Jed with his found family of brothers and two children. She is eager to fight for him whether it is in mediation or standing up to her mother. Alexia is a worthy addition to the Stallion’s ol’ ladies.
I received an ARC direct from the author. My opinions are my own.
Where do i begin on this... I read this book so fast i had to go back and read it a second time to take notes.. Jed.. If you've ever watched SOA.. this is Jax. and maybe a mix of Opie. He knew the first time he saw her, that he wanted her. Alexis was little unsure.. had not dated in a while.. but there was something about him that keep drawing her in. The one defining moment... when it finally clicked and she knew. he dropped everything to come and find her.. all because she didn't reply back to a text. The spice, the love, the family, the attitude... She did the biker world tastefully and what its truly about, not just the rough side. Annie.. 10 out of freaking 10 girl.. In love with this series.
❤️ Single father ❤️ Attorney FMC x Mechanic MMC ❤️ Found family ❤️ Forced proximity
This book was amazing!! I was hooked from the start & only took hours reading it when it usually takes me a few days. I loved Mavericks book but Jed & Alexia's story stole my heart. This book is full of romance, bikers, & drama. Jed is a single dad, biker who is in need of a attorney to help him with a custody case. Alexia is an attorney who is feisty and will not back down when need be. She is family friendly and always helping her family when they need her. When she sees Jed, she lets him get under her skin. From the start, you can tell what chemistry they have. I cant wait to see what comes in book 3. Highly recommend this book and if you havent yet, add it to your TBR.
AW does it again with book 2 in the Wild Stallion Motocycle Club Series - if you like bad boy bikers & I know you do - Jed is the guy for you!
A stallion, single dad & alpha protector, who takes charge, makes your clothes melt off & that sexy 'darlin' makes for some swoony reading.
Smart & sassy lawyer, Alexia- used to shouldering the responsibility for her family, doesn't stand a chance when Jed rides to her rescue & gives her a sense of belonging and worth, in the midst of biker territory where she's valued and appreciated.
***4.5 stars*** Look. I usually try to focus on the FMC’s of books because I’m a girls girl but let’s be real…. Jed/Wrangler is the true shining star of this book. The way I would let him take care of me like he takes care of Alexia… whoooowheeee. What a man. He’s quiet, strong, tatted, a single dad, there’s an age gap, he rides a motorcycle… the list goes on and on. I really did love their love story. I also loved seeing characters from the other books and there were enough openings for other characters to have their love stories in future books… can’t wait to find out who it is!!! Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
“Honestly, he was so good looking, he didn’t just pull off the biker ‘stache… he made it look like the concept originated on his face.”
“Don’t think I’ve ever been more proud to call a woman mine. You’re unstoppable darlin’.”
ONE MORE DAY UNTIL RELEASE DAY! 🙌🏽 If Annie writes it, I’m reading it. If Annie writes it, I’m LOVING it. If Annie writes it, I just know it’s going to be top tier. I thought I loved Maverick (Ridin’ Wild) and Mustang (Thornhill Road) but y’all…. The way I am absolute feral for this mannn. Jed, also known as Wrangler in the Wild Stallions MC… hot mechanic, protective biker, amazing dad 🥵 The way he takes care of those who matter most to him was everything. “I love it when a biker goes soft for his woman.” And Alexia. ALSO hot, classy attorney, Latin twin. I loved seeing both sides of her — the strong, dominant, badass lawyer — and the vulnerable and lonely woman who drowns herself in work and does what she needs to take care of her family. I love a queen that can stick it to the man. In this case, the man being Jed’s entitled ex and mother of his children. The passion and the chemistry between this two 🤌🏽 They were absolutely perfect together, and may just be my favorite couple yet. I just can’t stop thinking about them. For what it’s worth, I read 34 books in April and this was easily my favorite. Just read it. You won’t be disappointed
I cannot wait for you all to experience Alexia and Jed. Annie, I am forever grateful to have connected with you and become a part of your team. I cannot wait for what comes next.
read if you love: attorney FMC x mechanic MMC, insta-lust, MC romance, forced proximity, single dad, found family, romantic suspense, morally gray MMC and amazing spice
Ridin' True is the second book in this series! I was instantly hooked with this couple and couldn't put it down. Annie Winston has done an amazing job with this Motorcycle Club romance series and I can't wait for more!!
Alexia has finally made it being a lawyer, but working in a small law office she gets all the cases that the partners don't want. Then she gets a custody battle that could change her life. When her client, Jed, first walks into her office she instantly notices him and vice versa. Then she also finds out the MC Jed runs with is in need of some general council. Alexia's brother got into some trouble and as retribution the cartel is going after Alexia. Everything that she has been working to is now on the edge of being lost.
This book was absolutely amazing. Easily five stars. From the very first pages I was obsessed with the characters - some of them from Ridin Wild and some new. The FMC Alexia is from a tight family and I loved getting a peek inside their interactions - the closeness and support they all have for each other. And drama of course. Alexia is a lawyer and when the MMC Wranger needs her services for a personal issue of his it’s love at first sight. I could practically see the fireworks - I’ve never read a book like it before and I loved every minute! Wranger is such a good dad and loyal member of the Stallions🏍️ And if you know anything about the Stallions - it’s if one of them is in trouble, they’re going to do whatever they can to help. This book was filled with emotion, twists & turns and romance!
Annie, you've done it again! This book was everything! I fell for Jed, Wrangler, from the very start. Protective, sweet with his kids, and that darlin’? Swooning forever.
Alexia is a fierce, hardworking attorney who crosses paths with Jed when he needs a lawyer to fight for his kids. Their chemistry? Instant. Their connection? Fire!
Annie Winston is the absolute queen of creating a loyal MMC, and I'm here for it! I wasn't sure any MMC could top Maverick (Ridin' Wild), but I was wrong! If you love protective heroes, strong heroines, adorable kids, tattoos, banter, and spice, Ridin’ True is a must-read!
