Knot Her Cowboys: A Big Sky Omegas Novel

Rate this book
They say you never forget your first love and I haven’t, no matter how far away I run.

I abandoned our small town the moment I could, leaving my broken heart with my high school sweetheart. He and our best friend were my whole world growing up, but they had their reasons to stay and I had mine to go.

I tried to start a new city, new relationships, even a new name, but I couldn’t resist going back home one last time to celebrate my birthday before moving abroad with my fiancés.

After all my hard work I never expected to have the world I’d carefully crafted pulled out from under me, or to come face to face with the man I still dreamed about, or for him to come with a pack that would sweep me away.

What was supposed to be a nice vacation at a beautiful horse ranch nestled in the mountains became a weekend from hell.

A broken engagement.
An unexpected heat.
And four scent-matched cowboys who rode into my life and lassoed my heart.

Can this pack heal the wounds that sent me running in my youth, or will I ruin my happily ever after before it has a chance to start?

Knot Her Cowboys is a part of the Big Sky Omegas Universe.

ugh, i loved this. this had such a good balance of plot, spice, and relationship development. this is a 2nd chance romance and friends to lovers, which tbh are 2 of my least favourite tropes, but both were done in ways i didn’t hate. it didn’t feel like an info dump of their pasts relationships together and Riley was able to develop connections with Levi and Dakota and not feel like it was too focused on her past with Cash and Cooper.

while you don’t have to read 𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝑴𝒆𝒏 before reading this, i would highly recommend bc you learn more about Cooper’s family and why he stayed behind for his sister Morgan. and you also just get her story.

loved this story and can’t wait to see what is next in the series.

thank you Lexie Quinn for an e-ARC of 𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒘𝒃𝒐𝒚𝒔 💕

I was not prepared for this book. After reading the first book, I thought this story would be just as light, but I was wrong. Riley, a free-spirited omega who was crushed by her family's abuse, cut bait and ran at the first opportunity she got. Leaving behind her chosen family, including her first love. Fast forward twelve years, and it seems people really do repeat their patterns. Riley is engaged to a pair of alphas, and from the first interaction, I saw the writing on the wall. She made herself smaller for them, and everything was on their terms. Riley built a life on survival and compliance until her scent matches showed.

The pack was sweet, but her first love, Cooper (Morgan's brother), made my heart ache. He's loved Riley forever, and he never got over her, and when I say never, I mean never. Riley hurt him. I could feel his pain radiating off the page. The scene when he finds out that she's back was freaking brutal. Even I flinched. I was mad at everyone over that situation. Then there was the room... I cried like a baby, dang it! How could I not fall for the most heartbreakingly romantic gesture ever?

Besides the emotional trauma that I went through, the story was great. It starts with a broken engagement, then an accidental bonding, a friends-to-lovers situation with a second-chance romance thrown in to boot. Those are some of my favorite tropes, so I was living my best life. Then there was the real drama. The in-laws. The Deckers are a full-on cult, and Riley is one of them. Gasp! So I don't blame her for running. The problem is her mama wants back in, and she is a vicious guttersnipe of a woman willing to use her daughter to do it. I wouldn't be mad if she wandered into a gully and never came out.

The end was very exciting. It all culminated in one of the weirdest chase scenes I've ever come across, but it was good. Knot Her Cowboys was a fantastic read! I liked it better than the first (sorry, Morgan). I can't wait to see more books in this series.

4.5⭐️

All Riley Anne wants for her thirtieth birthday is take her fiancés home for one weekend, before their move to another continent. Bryan and Bruce are sadly workaholics who have never learnt to switch off and enjoy real life, so she’s relying on her childhood best friend Cash and two other locals, Levi and Dakota, to make the best of her last huzzay - until she realises that a life spent in isolation with a pack that never emotionally supports her isn’t what she wants in life.

Riley left home to escape a toxic family situation, and had no choice but go off-grid, thereby alienating her best friend Cash and her childhood love Cooper in order to stay safe. Too bad they never got over each other, let alone forgot about their wonderful connection. Now that she’s finally returned, the alphas are terrified to scare her (or Cooper, who’s at his sister’s) off so don’t tell her about them and Cooper forming a pack, or her being their scent match, which is obviously a horrible idea. When Cooper comes back early, everything blows up due to him feeling betrayed. Now they have to find their way back to each other and to their happily ever after, but will they manage with so many years of intense feelings of love and hurt between them?

There’s so many big feelings, pent up and being left to fester for years, but I loved how Cooper is the one who’s the most aware of his patterns and working on breaking them. They’re both written as obvious products of abuse, and I loved the support and safety the pack surrounded them with so they could grow and heal. We love emotionally mature men. The last third of this book had me on the edge of my seat but all in all it was my favourite kind of comfort read: loving, growing, comfortable and safe.

The Big Sky Omegas series is quickly becoming one of my favorites from Lexie. I fell in love with Knight Life in Vegas and the other Vegas stories, but I'm legitimately thriving here in Montana with the cowboys and mountain men. Positively masculine men who adore their shared woman will never get old for me. As my wife and I like to say, this is the straight nonsense we are wholly invested in and can't get enough of. The sex scenes are delicious, but the emotion carried over in terms of childhood loves rekindled is what truly sold this edition for me. Nothing speaks to me on the level of adoration as the reunion of high school sweethearts. And the suspense promises you'll be on the edge of your seat till the very end, but that's not the only edge in this spicy novel. It really is a wild ride, and one that I'll enjoy reading again and again!

I had the pleasure of being able to gush horse facts to Lexie for this novel, and I thoroughly enjoyed the results. Grizzy will forever hold a place in my heart, as will the reminder to the world that fairy slippers exist.

Knot Her Cowboys sucked me right in. This is book two in the series, but can be read as a standalone. Second Chance romances always have a special place in my heart and this one definitely tugged on the heartstrings. I loved Riley so much and seeing her heal/grow while finding her HEA was absolutely beautiful.

This was sweet & spicy- definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved this story!! The characters that Lexie created are just perfect. I love it when each member of the pack brings something so different to the relationship. This book had me smiling and bawling. It was such a lovely story of reconnecting and making new connections, and never does it lack in spice. Thanks for the early copy!

I throughly enjoyed this story, the pace was perfect and the 4 sexy cowboys were just yummy. My heart really went out for Cooper over his heartbreak and longing for his long lost love, I‘m so glad he let himself risk his heart again when Riley returned. I think Cash was my favourite, although Dakota and Levi aren’t very far behind. I loved how they all supported Riley, even from the start when she was set to marry Bruce and Bryan. Each one had very different personality, so together they made a fantastic pack when Riley needed them most.

I especially loved seeing Morgan, Bear, Kit, Maverick and Ryder again form Knot her Mountain Men and I cant wait for Maisie’s story, she so needs a happy ending.

I highly recommend this book, it’s just a wonderful story of long lost love, new fresh relationships, heats, nest and knots, a reprehensible mother and a crazy horseback chase and rescue. What’s not to love? ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Riley fled her home 12 years ago to escape her abusive mother and her threat of being trapped within the cult grounds her mum is so desperate to return. However now Riley is set to move to Germany with her fiancés, so as one last vacation she organises for them to return to her hometown. Even knowing Bryan and especially Bruce would hate it, she just needed to reconnect with her routes and the love of horses before their move. However their vacation doesn’t quite go as planned when her eyes are well and truly opened to how much she mistaken their relationship.

Riley has never stopped thinking of Cooper and Cash, her two childhood best friends and two alphas she will continue to love and pine over even when she married. When she booked her vacation she never expected to bump into either of them again, so having Cash great her upon arrival was totally unexpected. She feels a pull and connection towards him and even towards his two pack members Dakota and Levi, who have all been really supportive towards her even within a short time. Riley feels a desperate need to also see Cooper again, however greatly fears his reaction towards her after fleeing from him so many years ago.

Cooper has never stopped loving Riley, if anything the 12 years apart has only grown his desperate need for her again. So when he returns home after visiting his sister and her pack to Riley in bed with Cash, he just looses it and flees. He finds himself at war with himself - his love is back, but how can he let her in again and risk his heart in case she leaves him yet again?

Riley rediscovers her utter love for her home in Montana, being with horses again and especially with the hope of a fantastic future with an amazing pack, her scent matches at that. However when her mother discovers shes back again, their piece is shattered, more-so when Darrell Decker from the compound has his sights set on Riley!

I love an omegaverse story where the omega is obviously with the wrong alphas and runs into the perfect alphas. This book had heartbreak, sweetness, some suspense, some drama, and a large dose of spice. There was so much that the FMC went through and realizes that she always had happiness and family, just not the one she was born into. This is one of those omegaverses where the world operates much like our own, with the additional element of a horrible parent/ cult that treats omegas like property. While reading I really just wanted the FMC to have all the happiness and love she could handle after everything she had been through. I think my favorite part was at the beginning, when she was driving with her windows down. As someone from rural beginnings and very used to the stink of country life, I felt that scene deep inside. These alphas were everything and who doesn’t love cowboys. I really loved the way that they all came together.

This pack was absolutely beautiful. Riley had left the only two people that had really loved her so she could escape her horrible mom, that only wanted to use her for her own gain. With alpha fiancés in tow, she visits home one last time before leaving the country. But when you encounter alphas like Cash, Cooper, Dakota, and Levi, uptight city boys stand no chance. Cash was freaking adorable. He’s like a puppy and he just made me smile. Levi and Dakota were the perfect additions to the pack and I loved their “sweet at times but rough when it counted” personalities. And Cooper, while so damaged and heartbroken, was so wonderful. He had so much hurt to deal with, but I honestly loved him.

It really is hard to beat an omegaverse that has cowboys. But add on top of it a weird cult family, and I am absolutely in. This was very spicy and Riley was definitely a happy omega. This has a little bit of rough times, but for the most part, reading this book made me smile. I loved seeing this group find each other again and realize that they have and always will be family.

⭐“How many people around the world lived without the stars? They didn’t even know what they were missing.”⭐

Book 2 in Big Sky Omegas series of interconnected standalones

Giddyup! Simply put, this cowboy omegaverse may have become a new favorite of mine. I think Lexie Quinn did a fantastic job creating a realistic, but not over-the-top cowboy/ranch atmosphere while developing a really rich set of characters.

Riley knew several members of the pack from her past so this story has a really nice blend of introductory relationship building and relationships with a sense of ‘picking up’ where they left off years ago. I really appreciate that because it can help earlier intimate scenes feel way more believable.

This set of MMCs exuded warmth and kindness. I adored the balance of different types of energies each of them brought to the group. It was so important to their relationship developments.

Riley’s backstory is heartbreaking (I definitely shed a few tears) but she goes on such a lovely journey of healing and finding the courage to be true to herself and others around her. It’s really hard not to love her and silently urge her along as you read.

And shoutout to our special girl, Grizzy (ifkyk). She deserves all the love and apples in the world!

Finding Love, Healing, and Home in Montana

I absolutely loved this book! Lexie Quinn is officially a one-click author for me. Her omegaverse books always pull me in, and this story did not disappoint.

Riley is an omega who endured years of abuse from her mother and the Decker clan. At 18, she fled the Montana sky for New York City to pursue her dream of becoming a chef. Twelve years later, she returns for her 30th birthday with her two soon-to-be alphas. While they don’t much care for the wild freedom of country life, Riley is determined to reconnect with her roots—even if it means facing the past she left behind.

Cooper, Riley’s ex-boyfriend, has been pining for her during all those years apart. Cash, her best friend and the first person she reconnects with, turns out to own the ranch with the pack. Levi, the ranch’s vet, and Dakota, the horse therapist, round out the four alphas who prove to be exactly what Riley needs to finally build a better future. While Cooper struggles at first to forgive Riley for leaving, I loved watching him work through his pain and eventually become the alpha she deserved.

Of course, no pack story is complete without drama Bruce, Bryan, Darlene, and Darrell bring plenty of it. I really appreciated how the pack pulled together to protect their omega. Bryan, in particular, surprised me with his small redemption arc, and I can’t help but hope he gets his own happy ending in a future book.

The ranch animals were such a delight! The horses added warmth to the story, but Grizzy the fiercely protective mule stole my heart. And those lasso scenes? Absolutely swoon-worthy.

This book was everything I hoped it would be and more. I’m already eagerly awaiting Knot Her Ranchers I can’t wait to see what Lexie Quinn gives us next!

Diving into a why choose second chance cowboy omegaverse romance was just what I wanted to consume in 3 days especially if it involves drama, suspense, and accidental bonding in a small town. Seeing the FMC with some common personalities with a girl who's in a manipulative relationship in reality and still needs to be put in a dangerous situation to "wake up" from the said realtionship was saddening. It was not what I expected considering they were her 'fiancés' for years. But the MMCs made sure that she needs to see her worth and that she was not just an 'omega' but an omega that is to be cherished, loved and protected. And the FMC being badass right after? Chef's kiss! And with her badass horses, Grizzy and Bluebell <3, this time I just knew Riley will be my favorite FMC in this series.

I also love how each MMC got a one on one time with her as that is also a very important aspect in an RH to see the development of each relationship grow. It's heartwarming to read it. But I also noticed that Connor and Riley's relationship was almost the center of the story which was kind of shadowing the other MMCs relationship with her. But I also get that its important to show to the readers their history together and how they got together and separated. But for me, It's also important to keep it balanced in an RH (just my opinion!! pls don't come at me). But overall, I loved the story! devoured and consumed it!

Second chance romance got me again! I was super excited to read this as I’ve really come to enjoy the cowboy omegaverses. A deep appreciation for it and I’m a little jealous of Riley getting the attention of FOUR cowboys.

I liked each of the characters. Riley gets her second chance with Cash and Cooper while starting something new with Dakota and Levi. I am definitely going to try to get my hands on Knot Her Mountain Men so I can have more perspective on the family history of Cooper and Morgan. Kinda beating myself up for not getting to that one fast enough.

The pacing overall was definitely fast especially with the romance between Cash and Riley. It makes sense since they did grow up together but I was a little boggled when it came to the fact that Riley and Cash were bumping boots not even a day after breaking off her engagement. But hey, I get it. She finally got to be who she truly was and be with someone she hasn’t seen in 12 years. I don’t blame her.

Definitely loved the use of the two different conflict points as the past and kinda the future fighting over Riley. The conflict of staying away from what made her take off in the first place and the conflict of her (ex) fiancees being douche nozzles with trying to force her hand. I found it really enjoyable as it kept me on my toes.

Overall, the whole story made me miss summers working with horses at my dad’s house. I miss that and it brought a whole lot of nostalgia.

Knot Her Cowboys is a story in the author’s Big Sky Omegas world and can be read as a standalone. This sweet omegaverse meets cowboy romance features a second chance, this time with a pack. I received an advance review copy and my thoughts are my own. Thank you to the author for my eArc.

Tropes and themes include:
✨ Sweet omegaverse
✨Cowboy romance
✨Why choose (mfmmm)
✨Second chance
✨“Good girl”
✨Established pack
✨Heats and knots
✨She bathes him
✨Friends to lovers
✨He does *what* with the lasso?
✨Scent matches
✨She loves cuddles

Rating: 4/5 Stars 3/5 Flames
Nicknames: “Petal” “Honeybun” “Sweetheart”

The Lovely: I loved loved how this pack treated the FMC and each MMC played to his strengths and needs. They all want to not only care and love her but to protect her and make her feel safe too. A lot of hurt/comfort/healing vibes mixed with heaps of spice and cuddles was absolutely perfect.

The Mundane: It felt like to me the plot tension kept lagging, and when *it* finally happened, it seemed like it was resolved too easily/quickly.

Recommendation: While I don’t read sweet omegaverse frequently I love this author’s writing and I’ve been wanting to add in some cowboy romances. This hit that spot and it being a standalone in a series made it easy to get into. If you like sweet omegaverse with second chance romance, scent matches and swoony MMCs, I think you’d like this book.

Omg! Worth it!

Let me be straight, I don't write many reviews. I don't like many rancher books. Yet here I'm telling you, this has everything!

You experience life through the FMC, the omega. You travel with her in her going through a lot of hard times. She returns home for a final vacation. She wants to share it with her two alphas before she makes her final move overseas. Realistically, you know that she really wants to see how people she grew up with are, but too scared to really contact them now.

In pops her bestfiend who owns the ranch. She didn't know it yet. She is worried about seeing her old bf and she secretly how to have a chance to see him and him her. They packed up, and she will find out, plus two more.
I'm sure you don't want me to spoil your fun, but you will be taken through a storm of emotions as both her and him deal with what happened. Though, this also has other issues going on in the story. She is going to have to confront a lot of her history, and she will be able to see this because of her love life in the beginning.

You have a solid base of a story. You have a great build-up of ongoing issues. There have to be things bigger to deal with than a relationship, and you have that! I did find myself crying at a few points! Also, a very lot of steam.

Trauma alert! Be aware! You will have past abuse in her. Current abuse. Mention of possibility of more. You will hear about it.

Riley's story kept me hooked all the way to the end! The plot had enough angst for you to feel for the pack, plenty of fluffy moments of bonding and acceptance and so much character development which I love. The timing of everything was great, some of the choices felt a little too fast but the main character does say she is either all in or nothing so that covered those decisions. I loved the speed of each individual relationship, not one felt neglected. I can't recommend this standalone enough! If you are after a city girl returning to her roots and finding old and new love in a steamy whirlwind of an adventure then you'll love this!

Riley and Cooper, they were everything in this. I loved Dakota, Levi and Cash; they all brought something unique and different into the pack but the raw emotional journey between Riley and Cooper just captivated me. Cash brought a light, easy going presence to the pack though he is known for being a slight menace, being an old friend helped develop the relationship afresh. Dakota was just an understanding sweetheart who helps Riley process her past trauma. Levi helped save Riley's life and continued to care for her while bonding with her over helping sick animals. Then Cooper definitely brought the heat with some of those spicy scenes! Being Riley's first love, their rekindling after 12 years apart was just so rewarding to watch unfold.

So Emotional, But In All The Good Ways!

Lexie has done it again! I loved being back in this world & finding out more about Cooper & his pack, which we met in the 1st book with his sister Morgan (you can totally read this on its own, but I felt connected to these characters immediately since they had already made such a good impression on me in the 1st book, & I really think it helps you understand Cooper a little bit better….just FYI). Lexie is so masterful at diving into real, believable authentic emotions, even when we’re in the middle of something like omegaverse. Riley comes back home with her fiancés, but things don’t go to plan at all! I’m not usually a huge fan of 2nd chance romances, but the way Riley’s past was handled with Cooper & Cash drew me in, and just connected me to the story more, not less. Old connections were reborn, new connections were made, but the older connections didn’t feel more important than the new bonds that were made, which I really appreciated. The chemistry, friendships, romance, vulnerability, family, support, spice, and most importantly, the growth on so many levels, made this a roller coaster of a journey that had my emotions all over the place. That just made it that much more amazing though honestly. I truly can’t wait for more in this series 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️

Holy Moly! This book blew my expectations away. I don't normally read second chance romance tropes but Knot Her Cowboys has made me re-think my stance on this. I have always enjoyed anything that Lexie Quinn has written and this is no exception.
Rylie's past definitely wasn't easy, we get to see the 12 years of growth from her being gone. We also get to see in real-time what the phrase "its like coming home" looks like for her.
Each of these main characters gave me so many feelings and Cooper, I think most of all. Lexie's writing was so phenomenal that at one point I had forget I was reading a book and I just wanted to protect Cooper from all his hurt and pain as if I was there. 😆 I will say as someone who grew up in a small town, the small town feel was REAL! Everyone knows everyone and they always have a phone tree of information on you.
Lexie Quinn wrote such depth to her characters that I found myself almost instantly feeling connections on different levels to Rylie, Cash, Cooper, Levi and Dakota. Not only was there amazing plot, character development, and suspense, the spicy meter was off the charts! I would definitely suggest people read this if they enjoy spicy why-choose, omegaverse, and happy endings.

What happens when you decide its time to go home and you bring your fiancés with you. For you this is time for you to say goodbye because your life is changing a big move with the men of your pack. You left for a reason, to get away from your family and in doing so you left the man who held your heart and your friends. It may be your hometown but what are the chances of meeting these people right......

Riley on this trip finds out what her fiancés are actually like and how they really dont appreciate who she really is, and the thing is being home Riley realises who she really is and then she finds herself around a pack that consists of her ex, their friend and their two new pack mates. Feelings are high: a binding has happened, an ex who lost his everything when Riley left, the feelings Riley has for her ex, finding herself and two new men that make her feel. Then add into the mix the unwanted family for Riley and the fiancés still looking for a business deal.

Lexi Quinn has brought us a cowboy omegaverse that has the plot, relationship development between each of their characters and how they all fit together with all that spice. Lexi has nailed it yet again and I cant wait for what else is coming.

Whew.....this book grabbed me by the collar and refused to let go! They say you never forget your first love, but no one warned me how deliciously complicated it would be when he shows up with backup. And not just any backup, four scent-matched, cowboy-stubborn, heat-inducing men who know exactly how to push every button.

Our heroine is fiery, stubborn, and determined to cling to the life she built… until fate decides to toss her plans into the manure pile and watch what happens. The banter? Sharp. The chemistry? Explosive. The push-and-pull between resistance and surrender had me grinning one minute and fanning myself the next.

This isn’t just about romance, it’s about standing your ground, being unapologetically feisty, and still falling headfirst into a pack of men who won’t let you run from what you need. Sexy, chaotic, heartfelt, and laugh-out-loud at times, this story proves sometimes the best kind of love is the one that refuses to take “no” for an answer.

Five stars for the cowboys, the stubbornness, and every bit of the heat!

Second Chance With Scent Matches
Running away physically to escape abuse and an arranged marriage Riley has never left her feelings for Cooper, her childhood sweetheart, and their friend, Cash, behind. Engaged to two New York alphas, who want to emigrate to Berlin, she want to take her last chance to go back home and celebrate her thirtieth birthday at an ranch near her home town. Not knowing that it is run by Cooper and Cash and their pack with Levi and Dakota. These four men balance each other perfectly, everybody is aware of Cooper’s obsession with his lost love and prepared to live a life without an omega. Until Riley comes (back) into their lives and the situation changes dramatically.
The different characters are very relatable, even the ‘bad’ ones. Their emotional struggles and growth are realistically written, each person in his or her own way. The way Cooper remembered all Riley’s childhood wishes and made her the ultimate nest is just so sweet.
I loved Riley’s guard-mule, Grizzy!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Knot Her Cowboys is the second book in the Big Sky Omegas series by Lexie Quinn. You don’t need to read book one before this one, but we do see characters from that story.

Riley wants to visit the mountains one more time before moving to Germany with her alphas. Her alphas are city lickers and do not enjoy the time away from civilization. Riley is surprised to find her friend, Cash, working at the ranch they come to stay at. An incident makes the alphas decide it is time to leave, but Riley doesn’t want to leave. She decides to let the alphas go while she spends more time on the ranch. Little does she know, the past will come to visit her at the ranch. Cash is in a pack with Riley’s childhood love, Cooper. Levi and Dakota are also a part of the pack.

How will Cooper react when he sees Riley again? How will Riley react? Is Riley ready to start over again? Can Riley break free of the past that made her run from home, Cooper and Cash the first time?

This was a fun cowboy story to read. I am excited to read what will come next. Go read this book now.

Giddy Up!

If I wasn’t allergic to horses, I would be so jealous of this lifestyle. The idea of a cowboy is so hot! Something about people working with animals and also working with their hands and being able to fix things and build things is just so dreamy. But that’s all it’s ever going to be for me just a dream so this book is a perfect escape.

I absolutely loved every single main character. They were a pleasure to read about. Everyone seemed levelheaded and so adult in their choices that the story just felt so real. The second chance Romance is slowly but surely growing on me. The way they eventually found each other again and how they are yearning for each other never really went away takes my breath away. This is an excellent addition to the series and I am very curious to see how it will continue.

While the spice in the book was generous, I was never fully feeling steamy from it. I don’t know maybe it’s just me, but there was something slightly missing from it that made me tune out sometimes.

I absolutely loved this book. There are just some authors that create the most amazing Omegaverse characters, and Lexie Quinn is one of those.

I adored each of the characters in this book, but Riley and Cooper were absolute perfection. I clearly have a soft spot for obsessive men and second chances. Cooper was fabulous. His love for Riley may have had a few obsessive tendencies but my goodness was his love beautiful. And their chemistry was hot!

The author did a great job telling this story, and explaining why Riley had to leave Montana. There are a good number of past abuses mentioned from when she was a child, so make sure you check your triggers. Riley’s past story was heartbreaking, but that made her HEA so much more special. I loved each of her alphas. Each of her men gave her something she needed and helped her grow and heal.

Overall, this was an excellent Omegaverse book. It was cozy and sweet, but also quite hot and steamy.

A second chance homecoming!

There is some serious content in this one - gets you right in the feels. This book has a sad childhood, with some carry over trauma. I's a RH omegaverse where you have 4 male alphas, and 2 female omega. It is a great standalone and we do see characters from Knot Her Mountain Men (also a great one). The storylines do tie together. Can't wait for the next one!

Our girl, Riley, had to escape her hometown to survive, but in doing so leaves people she loves behind. Knowing that her mother is watching communication, she has to cut off contact completely. Twelve years later, she's engaged and moving overseas, but she needs to visit home one last time. She manages to schedule a vacation with her alphas, hoping she won't see anyone she knows. But everything falls apart, but lucky for her, her scent matches are there to pick up the pieces. Especially when she still has to deal with the past who she thought was gone.

This cowboy rh omegaverse features a second chance at a childhood love, a best friend turned lover and a whole lot of big feelings. When Riley Anne escaped her toxic family she had to leave behind Cooper, her first love and her best friend Cash. But she's returning to her hometown for one last trip home with her new fiancé. Too bad her alphas are such work aholics and don't have the emotional support she needs. Two hometown locals help her make the best of her trip home. But they are keeping secrets. Like she is their scent match and they had formed a pack with Cooper. They also don't tell Cooper about her being back and their scent matches because they are worried about scaring her into running. When both Cooper and Riley Anne find out, there are alot of her emotions. But Riley has to make a choice. Stay in her imposed isolation with her alphas, or take a chance on her old friend and first love?

Returning to face where she grew up

Riley ran from her birthplace years ago and over time lost contact with everyone she cared for, including her first love. He couldn't go with her when she ran because he needed to keep his sister safe.

With Riley about to turn 30 she decides its time to venture home before moving to an entirely different country with her fiancees. They are city slickers through and through so they absolutely hate coming to Montana. However, after an incident she is forced to face some hard truths.

And accidental bonding, a returned first love, running from her past, and lots of steam bring this story together. I absolutely adore this pack made up of her first love, her best friend and two new people.

There are a lot of different people in play and posts of threats but in the end they find their happiness. I can't wait to read the next story in this series.

Ive read all of Lexie Quinns books and I can honestly say they've quickly become some of my favorites. Each book she writes contains its own twist and adventure. If you haven't read Knot Her Mountain Men, that would be a good place to start. Although this book can be read as a standalone it is interconnected with the first book in the Big Sky Omega series. If you've read Knot Her Moutain Men, then you've already met Cooper, Cash, Levi and Dakota the alphas of this book. You've also already seen Rileys name mentioned. She's the Omega in this book.

In Knot Her Cowboys, Riley returns to the town she grew up in and books her and her alphas a vacation at a local ranch. What she doesn't know is who owns the ranch. This book is full of friends reuniting, protective cowboy alphas, heartbreak, healing, suspense and TONS of knotting.

This was an angsty emotional second chance romance and I LOVED IT 😍. Seriously this story had everything and has quickly become one of my favourite omegaverse stories.

I thought all the characters were amazing and the storyline was fantastic.

Cash and Cooper are two people from Riley’s past that she didn’t expect to ever see again, but the moment she does *cue me screaming* it was so good. Cash, Riley and Cooper used to be best friends but Riley and Cooper were also a little bit more 😏. Cash was obviously madly in love with Riley back then as well.

My heart broke for Cooper, especially when he found out Riley had come home 🥺 my poor lil baby. His actions were completely justified and I loved reading them overcome their struggles.

Cash is a golden retriever, he was the sweetest, bubbliest guy ever, I adored him.

We then had Levi and Dakota that were part of the pack. I loved the connection they formed with Riley, it didn’t feel like her history with the others overshadowed her getting to know Levi and Dakota which I loved.

It was such a great story. The writing was awesome and the plot flowed so well.

Thank you Lexie for the ARC.

RH Omegaverse Romance

4.25 ⭐️ Good read. It had a nice mix of plot and spice. It was funny with great banter, it had some tender moments and heartbreaking ones. It was mostly fast burn, except the second chance romance took a little longer than the others but it was worth the wait. The MMC needed to work through somethings but never took it out on the FMC. All the MMCs were sweet and protective.
While this is mostly major drama free, they still needed to deal with the reasons Riley left in the first place and also with her exes.

No cheating, no OWD, no third act breakup with HEA.

While I consider this on the lighter side of things there may be some potential triggers to some so be sure to check those out.

* Scent Matches
* MFMMM ( all about FMC)
* Second Chance
* Friends to Lovers
* Abandoned FMC
* Surprise Heat Flare
* Accidental Bonding

Yes yes yes

Knot Her Cowboys is the second book in the Big Sky Omegas omegaverse series. And like the first book, it can be read as a standalone. I would recommend reading the first book to help connect with this one.

Riley is an omega on the run. Running from her horrible mother and what she had planned for Riley. But she's back in Montana, for a quick trip, with her fiancees, before heading off to Germany. But her past isn't ready to stay in the past and neither is the danger she was running from.

Cash is my favorite. Sweet, funny, and so adorable that he is the alpha that every omegaverse needs. Dakota and Levi are sweethearts that were there for Riley. And Cooper, he is one that will pull at your heartstrings. His pain is so raw and makes him cautious.

Danger, cults, packs, and confronting your past and fears to have the future you want.
