I thoroughly enjoyed Steer Clear and was especially impressed by the vivid descriptiveness of Jack’s life and journey. The story was a thrilling page-turner that kept me fully engaged from start to finish. I felt like I was right there with the characters, caught up in the intensity of the high-speed chase.

The author’s attention to detail, especially in describing the roads and the travel scenes was spot on. It truly felt like I was riding alongside them, experiencing every twist, turn, and adrenaline rush. Steer Clear does a fantastic job of pulling the reader into the action, making it more than just a story, it’s an immersive ride.

This is Joe Egan’s best book so far! His growth as a writer is remarkable. He is a young author going places.

Steer Clear is a fast-moving thriller featuring Egan’s best characters yet. Jack Walker is relatable - a good person with a few flaws, trying to do the right thing. Egan has weaved a terrific cast of supporting characters into an exciting plot that takes the reader throughout the upper Midwest. I hope Egan develops an ongoing series featuring Walker. If so, I can’t wait for the next book! Bob

Awesome Book! I finished Steer Clear and absolutely loved it! I can't wait to read the next book.
It was a very thrilling and moving story. I loved that the characters are all so real and relatably flawed. I alsi love all the discriptuons of places I have been and areas I recognized. It was an amazimg touch.
I also found the way the introduced characters a simple kind of genuis. I found myself trying to figure out the connections and how every thing fit in the awesome puzzle the writer created!

I really enjoyed some of the surprising character development! Joe describes the landscapes so wonderfully it makes me feel like I was on a roadtrip myself. A thriller that was a total speed read for me since I couldn’t put it down!!
