Tatiana and her company get a gig trying to discover who is sabotaging a play. While investigating they find that there is a second plot also taking place, now Tatiana has to figure out the saboteur, what is happening in the tunnels under the theater, and what the heck is JD up to. I am enjoying the characters in this series, they keep things interesting and make me laugh. I also like the storylines, the action, and look forward to the reactions when certain secrets will be revealed.
The story is continuing to remain interesting as Tatiana is keeping quite busy with her current contracts and her efforts to grow her business. Thanks to her being unaware of the constraints that Jackson/J.D. has had imposed, she’s increasingly frustrated by his absences when he’s off working for another who can preempt his work with Sterling & Smith despite his definite preference to the contrary.
Once again Anderle has given us a fun tale that’s been internally consistent and a quick read! 😊
As usual certain stories by Michael Andersen just suck the reader in and won’t let go. This is one of those stories for me. I found this second book a little stretched out regarding content, but it still pulled me beyond my usual bedtime. Can’t wait for the paranormal parts to jump out.
Michael Anderle keeps delivering great stories. While I have not read everything that he has written, I have read a lot, and how he maintains such a high standard amazes me. I am looking forward to the next in this series.
