A clean fake dating romance with a grumpy boss, a chaotic florist, and one very unexpected kiss.
Frankie Sloan talks to her plants, wears her emotions (and glitter) on her sleeve, and makes floral magic in the middle of organized chaos. She’s one wrong client away from losing her flower shop, but she’s got charm, determination—and an imaginary boyfriend to impress a high-profile wedding planner.
What she doesn’t expect? Theo Hart—her handsome, detail-obsessed boss—to overhear the lie and offer to play the part.
Theo doesn’t do messy. Or fake relationships. But his venue’s image is on the line, and keeping up appearances seems like the safest solution… until he finds himself catching real feelings for the woman who leaves petals everywhere she goes.
With awkward mixers, dance floor disasters, and one very real kiss that changes everything, Frankie and Theo’s fake relationship starts to look a lot like something real.
But when the rules of their agreement get blurry, they’ll have to play it safe, or take a chance on love that was never part of the plan?

Cute story. Frankie was a quirky, eccentric florist where Theo preferred to contain chaos. Theo offered to play fake boyfriend after noticing Frankie stumbling over her "I have a boyfriend " lie.
I do think she was unnecessarily hard on him after he second guessed crossing the professional line. She punished him on the merits of past relationships not anything he did. In the end he won her over.
Take one uptight venue owner and wedding planner who is handsome, efficient, and adverse to disorganization or chaos...Theo Hart. Add one non conventional and wildly successful floral designer...Frankie Sloan. Mix in confusion, chaos, and tender feelings to reveal the most beautiful results. I loved Frankie's eclectic arranging style and her gentle nature. I loved that Theo could adapt by slowly loosening the tight bonds of perfection that kept him from love. Add in an absolute gorgeous book cover to help your imagination along, and you have a sweet romance that is also friendship and respect. Lovely!!
The story is very sweet. I would have liked there to have been more leading to a relationship. Some "getting to know eachother" moments would have been nice, for that reason I give it three stars. Overall the moments that they did have were very sweet. I just wish it had more
This was super quick to read and not my usual genre, but Lauren Quinn gave me all the feels in this squeaky clean romance. Nice to escape to a world like this! I will be reading more of hers!
This book is such an emotional romantic ride. I couldn’t put it down! It filled me with soft romance delight. The author has such a way with describing emotions, thoughts, and feelings.
