This would’ve been a cute book as a normal audio but since it was an AI narrated book there were mistakes allllllllll over the place with pronunciations and how the story was read.
Again, I liked the story but the narration ruined it for me
18+ Readers Freedom in the badlands will not only keep you wanting more but hoping for it too. A slow burn will lots of build up with realistic exceptions. 3/5 spice level for my more dark romance readers but a great start for a new spicy readers. 5/5 Plot rating with a great story and a feeling of knowing the characters. The connections with the characters and the reader are very real. leaves you fulfilled and wanting more at the same time! Trigger warning is needed for domestic abuse
I don't remember how I came across this, but I'm so glad I did. I really enjoyed this.
The themes of abuse and SA were tough to read but were very well written. I thought Leah's character was strong-willed and determined and she didn't fall into the stereotypical victim category that wouldn't help herself. And I'm glad Wade got what he deserved in the end.
I will say, there were some minor grammatical errors, but it wasn't anything off-putting enough to not continue reading. I definitely recommend this. 👌
Oh my gosh i fell for Ky so hard. The way he took in Leo and then Leah. We need more Kylers in the world and zero Wades. This was beautifully written and I could truly see myself in the book. It took me no time to finish! Definitely a book of wish I could read for the first time again!
